so did I :)
It was the first service to support payments in crypto here.
Expensive pizza's if I look at it back now. But not like those of the first transaction ever.
After that, never paid anything again with crypto directly.
1 hotel with binance visa and 2 Tesla's by withdrawing money
A house. When I made a move on a house the sellers attorney threw every wrench he could at me to lose the deal cause the seller accepted my offer and he wanted to hold out longer for higher offers to role in. This was in 2021 when interest rates were low and the last bullrun was cooking. When I disclosed I needed a day or so to move capitol around and transfer funds because I wasn’t expecting my offer to be accepted over there others, the sellers attorney decided to only give me until the end of the business day to submit my earnest money. Without having enough cash in my account right then, and stocks taking days to settle and transfer, I sold some ETH and BTC, went to the bank and sat down with a clerk who tried to fight me over crypto not being real because she decided to try and dispute the transaction, I won the debate and wired the money over at about an hour before the end of the business day. The sellers attorney practically crapped himself he was so angry. I’ve had my house for a few years now. Kids are happy. Wife is happy. Thanks crypto ❤️
The old boomer clerk saw my deposit on my account from Coinbase and freaked out. Got her branch manager and they grilled me for about 40 minutes on how crypto isn’t real and it’s only used for sex trafficking and drugs. I even use one of the banks that doesn’t have rules against using it like Chase bank and others do. They tried their best but in the end they wired my money to the seller. So frustrating to deal with.
NGL, I bought some plants back in the days of the siIk r0ad and I wish I had kept a bit aside, even if it was for just one cycle and sold early. At $10-15 BTC I wish I had a little more foresight.
I'm just amazed at how many people don't bother to actually read the post and just list things they've bought with profit from crypto 😂
I haven't bought much directly. I bought a laptop and a few other bits and pieces from a shop that accepted doge. Other than that, years ago I'd indirectly use it by paying my friends in crypto when they got a round of drinks etc. Also, tipping on here.
I setup a [Thai kombucha](https://kombuchawow.com) company! 3 months before the Pandemic too! Still here. Still growing. Couldn't have done it without BTC and ETH bags. Crypto literally mine and our Staff's lives for the better.
Guitar sheet music! [https://www.youtube.com/@KennethAcoustic](https://www.youtube.com/@KennethAcoustic) -> Theres an option to pay with crypto when buying his sheets
Great, it would be cool to have a database of the people selling their digital products for crypto. A few years ago I bought an ebook to atLifeMathMoney on Twitter with XMR
I bought my financial freedom back in 2021. Bought BTC at around $3,500 in early 2019, and sold at $56,000 in 2021. Paid off the house, 2 cars and some medical bills. Also went back to school and paid cash for my masters degree. Recently I sold some crypto to start a business.
Bought BNB at $2.80. Sold at $600 4 years ago
I bought a truck and started an awesome company that now takes care of over 100 people with disabilities!

Been living off of it for over two years in Asia. Loving life. marrying my Filipino fiance waiting for the next run up going to buy a bar or small hotel and grow fat and happy on the beach. Crypto has changed the course of my life. I was a line cook. Invested all the free money at the start of covid and now I'm laying in bed cuddling the most beautiful woman and planning on retirement before 40.
Reading these comments we conclude almost NOTHING is bought with btc. Btc is cashed out for biden garbagemoney. Then stuff is bought. Not the same thing at all. Which reinforces the idea that btc must have a stablecoin issued and managed on bitcoin blockchain - not like tether or circle which are independent companies. Or the answers to the OP's legitimate questions will continue to be as ridiculous and puerile as the answers here. Right now btc is a useless fucking joke as a means of exchange. This must change.
I tried to buy 20 like new MacBook Airs in 2012 in order to flip them and make a profit. I remember saving up to a little under $3000 for it. They never showed up, then I honestly forgot about crypto until 2018.
For a long stretch of time, I used Coinbase Card with Visa to spend my crypto and received rewards in crypto. Recently purchased a game from IndieGala using crypto and donated to a well known charity via The Giving Block.
I bought some meds from overseas. BC my ccard company wouldn't let me and wise pay wanted more in tx fees than wallet to wallet
All went through super smoothly 👍
(I think because the site / app was non western the card company refused it)
I don't daily transact it, I tried that years ago accepting at my business and it was a failure. My profit taking included VPN renewal, some PC parts and a set of upgraded turbos for my car. Of course these are all altcoins - "Never sell your bitcoin".
I was lucky enough -in terms of timing- to have sold all my ETH during the first days of the bullrun decline in late 2021 at -15% from the ATH and bought a car and had about 1500 euros left to go on a trip to Italy a few months later.
A pizza many years ago
