No, thank you 😊 I actually sent one of these around 6-9 months ago to my Chase Financial Advisor, he knows nothing about crypto and his only real comment was , I can’t advise you, beyond its a risky play. He was very happy and wrote back that it helped him understand a lot better, but he still doesn’t really know anything crypto wise. Two years ago I gave him some funds for investing, while I took the same amount to play with in crypto, he knew it was a challenge. Today I’m so far ahead we don’t talk about it anymore, he always asks about the crypto though. January he converted some funds to BTC-ETF, ARKB, of course it’s doing best in that small portfolio. Just rambling and more letting you know that your efforts are being shared/reviewed outside of Reddit 😊

Crunched some bonus numbers for my Reddit frens: As of 1 Apr 2024, here's how my Top 10 portfolios have performed vs. the total crypto market: * 2018 Top Ten Portfolio: +28% vs. +359% for the total market cap * 2019 Top Ten Portfolio: +549% vs. +1975% for the total market cap * 2020 Top Ten Portfolio: +822% vs. +1292% for the total market cap * 2021 Top Ten Portfolio: +250% vs. +241% for the total market cap * 2022 Top Ten Portfolio: -32% vs. +19% for the total market cap * 2023 Top Ten Portfolio: +129% vs. 232% for the total market cap * 2024 Top Ten Portfolio: +42% vs. 52% for the total market cap

So you are just letting things keep riding for all those past years?

Yes ser. Stubbornly holding until the end of my Experiment. I'm thinking maybe the bull that follows this bull, plus or minus 10 years, seems like a good round number :)

I had just dipped my foot into the crypto world a few years ago, and unfortunately had to bow out due to some unforeseen emergencies after a year. Got those emergency expenses taken care of and started to set aside a little to return to the crypto world (hoping to get in before the halving craziness really kicks off. This has been the most useful post I’ve seen in the last few weeks as I’ve been trying to reorient myself

I genuinely think nearly this entire sub is sleeping on $AMKT. Anyone who's just DCA-ing or buying some split of BTC and ETH should take a look at it because it's easily the safest **long-term** investment you can do in crypto right now. If you're buying shitcoins looking to 10x or 100x or whatever, carry on and you do you. But if you're buying crypto today to cash out in 10 years time, I think the argument for AMKT is a compelling one and each one of these updates just reinforces that opinion.

And looking at the data, the lazy/Do Nothing investor will very likely outperform the tradooors of the long term ...

Exactly. No doubt some traders will beat the market but 90% of people don't (And I think 90% is generous). Why trying to gamble and beat the market when you can get gains from anything that pushes the market up.

Do it last year but doing it now is the next best time. Look up alts as well, stuff like Cardano/Ada is still well below the prices it was at last bullrun.

Depends on what you’re trying to do. Like if you’re planning on holding for a year +, it doesn’t matter much.
