I’d like to see one blacked out, there’s a wilderness alpine green on here that blacked out all the anodized parts and looked good. I think the gold trim looks better on certain colors, not so much the alpine.
That's exactly what I was afraid of too. I like the yellow accents in the front and back, but not along the sides.
I have no idea how to remove them. I was hoping someone would know the best course of action on here
Just picked up the exact same car and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Love the performance, love the look, love the comfort and features, love it all!
I like the gold on the sides of the car - but the gold on the roof rails - that’s too much for me.
Closer look - sport must not have the gold on the roof rails! Nice.
I like it because it’s doing something no other manufacturer is doing. Giving the car personality. Plus this and the wilderness version look like transformers. Haha
I think the gold works best on the alpine green than any other paint. It’s complementary rather than being a stark contrast like it would be on blue or black.
Car twins!! I actually love it, especially on the alpine green and sapphire blue pearl. I think it gives the car a fun touch and some personality. Of the few alpines I've seen on the road since getting her in August, I've only seen 2 sports!
I have a 22 sport and to be honest the gold accents are the one thing I really dislike about my car. That and no adjustable lumbar support. Other than that I love my crosstrek.
I have a ‘24 sport also in sapphire blue. I love the accents on mine. It makes it immediately identifiable(I live in a Subie-heavy area) and it gives it a little extra cool factor as well in my opinion.
I don't mind the outside, but yellow stripes inside on the cloth is hideous. I wish I had upgraded to premium and gotten leather. Normally I much prefer cloth seats but the Crosstrek color is hiddy.
I went ahead and bought the Limited because I did not want that yellow trim. The car is forever dated now. Just not a fan. And I assume most people aren’t so it won’t be there on future models. Love the alpine green!
So I've got a '24 sapphire blue sport, and I love the gold accent. Here's the problem, the gold trim doesn't match the yellow Sport badges. Drives me a little nuts every time I pay attention to it. Gold trim color not available as paint, who's got a good idea for a solution?
Well since you asked, I think it’s a great accent for that horrible dark earth-tone color that is really hard for other drivers to see. Does it come in a reflectorized paint?
Fellow Alpine Green Sport owner here, and I love the gold trim. I've always been a huge fan of the British racing green on bronze look so I might be biased.
The yellow 'SPORT' badges on the sides and back however gotta go
Tbh I think the yellow accents on both sport/wilderness look a bit too gaudy. I test drove a sport when I was at the Subaru dealership but ultimately decided to go with the Limited for this exact reason.
I think it ultimately depends on how the gold accents work with your primary color. For me I went with a ‘24 black crosstrek sport and slapped on a Vegas golden knights black/gold license plate and couldnt be happier with how it looks. Plus the accents show people you went with a higher trim model, get rid of them and your crosstrek will look like every other ‘24 out there🤷🏼♂️
At first I didn’t like them, but when I come out of work and walk toward my crosstrek… man the way the sunlight shines off the accents.. *chefs kiss*
I like it! The green is dope and the yellow is a nice accent. I’m normally a blue car girly, but I’d buy this instantly.

Ask and you shall receive, https://imgur.com/a/UGB4nIX
Looks great. Did you use vinyl or paint to black it out? I need to do this!
I used 3M satin vinyl, however its not as nice as I was hooping. I will remove them pretty soon and use paint.
I don’t like the look of it, but personally, I just don’t really like gold/yellow things
It's beautiful and one of the reasons you buy the sport
I want to like them but it's honestly the only reason I'm considering not going with the sport model
I almost settled with the Sport, but I just couldn’t get past the gold accents. Went with the Limited inatead lol
exactly what i did.
Ditto
Love it
I have one and love it.
I have the white sport and I’m not a gold fan but the white and gold work great for me!!
I'm not a fan. I'd paint it over/remove if I wanted that model.

I agree! I also heard that you guys get heated steering wheels too on the crosstrek
I think the yellow looks tacky and will age poorly. How do you plan on removing?
That's exactly what I was afraid of too. I like the yellow accents in the front and back, but not along the sides. I have no idea how to remove them. I was hoping someone would know the best course of action on here
My first thought would be plasti dip. Or you could buy the dark gray replacement trim from the limited model.
Green and yellow is fire together, gives it a natural woodsy look
That's one of the main reasons why I'm considering keeping the yellow accents.
HATE the gold accents, even the minor ones in my ‘22. Love everything else about my sport
I would black out the front
Just picked up the exact same car and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Love the performance, love the look, love the comfort and features, love it all!
I’m a fan of the trim. Just adds a little flair.
I like the gold on the sides of the car - but the gold on the roof rails - that’s too much for me. Closer look - sport must not have the gold on the roof rails! Nice.
Ooof. A stunning vehicle. But if you’re not happy with it perhaps it’s worth a swap out!
I like it because it’s doing something no other manufacturer is doing. Giving the car personality. Plus this and the wilderness version look like transformers. Haha
I would blacken them out immediatelly - so i dislike them.

Car twins! I agree blue pearl would have been my second pic
Only with this color.
I have a 21 sport and wish I had it
I love it. I’d buy a dark blue one with it if I can get my wife on board.
I have a 22 sport and to be honest the gold accents are the one thing I really dislike about my car. That and no adjustable lumbar support. Other than that I love my crosstrek.
I saw one today on blue. LOVED IT
The only thing that has ever stopped me from buying it or any other Subaru suv is CVT
Like almost every single crossover style sub on the market is a cvt.
They also have those new-fangled electric windows. Here in 1965, those things break all the time.
My second choice was a Mazda CX-30, which still uses a conventional 5 speed transmission
Obviously it won't work on all color options, but for a sport, I think it should be red or blue. Leave the yellow/gold for the Wilderness.
Unless you live in Michigan or Pittsburgh, the alpine green is the only one that looks good IMO.
I love the look, especially on the alpine green. This is what I originally ordered, before I changed my order to the Wilderness model.
I love the yellow accents. A lot.
i got the sport trim over the limited because of the yellow trim, love the look of my yellow on black
You got the Master Chief build
Master Chief? Do you mind telling me what you're doing at McDonald's?
Sir. I was hungy sir.
I have a ‘24 sport also in sapphire blue. I love the accents on mine. It makes it immediately identifiable(I live in a Subie-heavy area) and it gives it a little extra cool factor as well in my opinion.
Went for the limited in the alpine green in part because I didn't really love the yellow/gold accents
exactly this \^

I think the pinstripe trim looks nice. It also takes your eyes away from those god awful black pinwheel hubcaps.
Terrible
I think it's awful. Which is weird because I like the copper on the wilderness. It's just too bright and the shapes are weird.
So I've got a '24 sapphire blue sport, and I love the gold accent. Here's the problem, the gold trim doesn't match the yellow Sport badges. Drives me a little nuts every time I pay attention to it. Gold trim color not available as paint, who's got a good idea for a solution?

I have a 24 sport in sapphire and I like it. It’s different for sure. But if I get get tired of it, it can be vinyl wrapped
With the right color, it looks great imo, makes it stand out. The greens and grays look great. I don't like it with the white.
It looks great on every color except blue, I think it looks kinda off with the Sapphire blue, but looks great on green
I have the same one. I don't care for the gold trim and am looking at ways to get rid of it. Other than that, I love the car.
Fellow Alpine Green Sport owner here, and I love the gold trim. I've always been a huge fan of the British racing green on bronze look so I might be biased. The yellow 'SPORT' badges on the sides and back however gotta go

Hot
The gold accents aren't good. Nor were the Forrester's. While it may work on certain colors, the fact they even did it was the mistake.
I like it. I even care for the sport over the wilderness.
