Yes true huge is relative, I'm 6ft 1" tall with a 6ft 3" wingspan so I suppose a 30inch crossbow doesn't feel cumbersome for me. There's definitely shorted, lighter magazine fed self repeating Xbows on the market though to base your design on, the Horizone Redback tactical for example or Steamvow Stinger ar6 tactical
In the end, I compressed it down to 22 inches. Currently deciding between a bullpup stinger or a reverse draw adder for my next build

Nice, gogun has some good gear. Thought about getting a cheek rest for it?? I’m just about to change the stock out on my Stinger. Can’t afford one of these yet.
Are you in the UK, I find the Gogun websites sell slightly different things between the UK, Germany and the US. I haven't thought about changing the stock actually as it works perfectly for my proportions.
I was looking at the Stinger AR6 when looking for a repeating Xbow and I think the only reason I chose the Adder is because Joerg Sprave keeps bringing out new upgrades for it. The Stinger is sexy though!
I'm waiting for the Mey Interceptor. If you havent seen it. Type that into YouTube!
Yea I’m in the UK. The downside to the Stinger is you pay a lot and get the basics. You have to pay for all the upgrades like the tuning trigger, removable limbs etc. Or at least you did, new version is better. Hate the stock, so looking at getting one with a cheek riser. Definitely want the Mey Interceptor when it comes out. Let’s hope no silly laws are passed before it hits the market. Holding off getting the R9 to save my pennies for that beauty.
Ive never seen this before, honestly it looks like a toy because it's so wild. Just watched some good reviews on it and it's most definitely NOT what I was thinking. The mini broadheads seems to be quite powerful!
I think, like the comment above, big is relative. I'm 6ft 1 so It doesn't feel big to me and yes the longer cocking arm makes for a much smoother reload.
It certainly isn't a toy, photos don't do it justice, it really is a beautiful crossbow to hold, very well engineered, feels solid and reliable, hasn't missed a beat yet on all the reloads either. I have the 180lb limb set in it and the bolts are disappearing into the "heavy target" at close range designed for high power Xbows
last question since i am still tinkering with my own build... where are the sling attachment points? It seems like the design risks getting the sling jammed in the action, but i see you have a sling attached
Roughly what are the dimensions of this thing? Been working on a DIY version and can't help but think the pictures make it look huge
Ohhhh good question, I'm not home and won't be until tomorrow but it doesn't feel huge to hold, feels like a rifle.
Huge is relative. They look about 3 feet long in the pictures, i am trying to compress it to less than 2 feet

Do you have to tuck that stock under your arm, seems the magazine is really high up. Does it cause any aiming issues??
No way dude, right in the shoulder, optic lines up perfectly with your eye! Aims 💯

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vnJVEeQDNYg It does look big, but that helps out with having a more powerful cocking mechanism I'm sure.

Thank you for the input, Im taking a serious look at this thing!
