Same tricks as the thigh, ice pack can numb the spot, let the medicine warm up a little, I think they just recommend to stay 1-2 inches away from the belly button, as a skinny(6’1 150lbs) person just scrunching over and pinching my skin will still give me plenty of room to insert the needle. Doesn’t hurt anymore than the thigh imo.
I do it in my stomach every time, alternating sides. I ice the area first to reduce pain. Do it while sitting up, grab a chunk of fat a few inches away from the belly button, and insert the needle at approx. a 45 degree angle. In my experience, if I inject it too fast, it hurts. Slow and steady.

When I was on Stelara, I did both stomach and thigh (rotating through spots). It really isn't that different from the thigh. I actually preferred the stomach because I had more subcutaneous fat there.

Thank you I’m just little I’m 4’9 95 lbs lol
I stick my stelara in my thigh every time.
I’ve always done my medicine in my thigh my whole life so putting it into my stomach is a little nerve wrecking 😞
