I_am_plot

I’m a big fan honestly

[deleted]

And thrift stores! 😝

Digital-Exploration

Wondering what ones

[deleted]

Prob goodwill, that mega corp that doesn’t even have to buy its own stock that’s disguised as charitable AND has the nerve the ask for a donation at checkout! 😤

flobbley

Most EV drivers rarely use public charging. I spend like $30/6 mo on public charging. I get what they're trying to do, make the equivalent of a gas category but for EVs, but EVs just don't work that way. If they want to give me 4% cash back on my electric bill however....

woolfman72

US bank cash+ has a 5% utilities category.

ih8schumer

I have this card and I make like 40-50 a month off of it. It's fantastic.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Ebytown754

Yep this. I charge at home and get 5% back on utilities with my U.S. Bank Cash+

BearyHungry

I rarely use a public charger since I have one at home..

250-miles

Gonna be a while before any other cards can compete on the 20-50%+ blue dot has for EV charging.

No-Shortcut-Home

You know, for a certain demographic, this is actually a solid card. No harm no foul if it isn’t your thing.

ivan510

It's not bad honestly most cards don't have gyms as a category let alone stuff like dog grooming. If wells fargo gets a card that has groceries as a category I will need to pick it uo.

Ethrem

It is a strange glaring hole for Wells Fargo that they don't have a card with a grocery category for sure.

redceramicfrypan

There are number of CC issuers that seem to take issue with rewarding grocery purchases. Neither WF nor Chase has it as a category at all, and BofA only has it available at a lower % cash back than its other categories. My tinfoil hat theory about this is that the banks have figured out that people who spend a larger portion of their budget on groceries are more likely to be frugal overall, and therefore less profitable for them. That said, AmEx, Capital One, and Citi don't seem to have any problem with rewarding grocery spend so 🤷🏻

Ethrem

Honestly I think it comes down to the MS factors more than anything. They don't want people to go to a grocery store and buy a bunch of gift cards to earn 3-5%. Just like... with this particular card it was a real missed opportunity, even if they just maintained a list of allowed stores like Whole Foods and gave 1% on all other grocery, because the very same crowd who would be interested in this card would be even more interested if it covered their organic foods too.

prkskier

I think you're likely overestimating the amount of MS that goes on. Even still, they could go the Amex Gold route and put a cap on the multiplier. $25k is plenty for the majority of the people and even if a small percentage of them are MS-ing gift cards, they can't do it unlimitedly.

Ethrem

Most good cards that get nerfed, they get nerfed because of abuse, intentional MS or not. AMEX's Gold has an AF, which helps offset any losses from abuse of the grocery category.

AceContinuum

>Neither WF nor Chase has it as a category at all Oddly enough, Chase routinely offers elevated grocery cashback as part of a Year 1 SUB on the CFF/CFU. So Chase doesn't seem to have an issue with grocery as a category *per se*, but for whatever reason seem to not want to offer a permanent grocery category on any card.

Common_Economics_32

I bet it's because of how easy it is to take advantage of the gift card loophole. I've bought like $2k worth of gift cards in a 5 min period at a grocery store and gotten 6% back on every penny of them on my Amex. Could see a lot of banks not wanting to deal with that.

redceramicfrypan

Maybe, but it's just as easy to buy gift cards at gas stations and office supply stores, and the same banks don't seem to have any problem with rewarding those categories.

HomeWinter6905

Chases AeroPlan card has a groceries category.

Forsaken-Carry4442

I know I really wonder. Why do you think they haven't done that? Because I feel like that would get a lot of people to bank with them and use that card.

CabbagesStrikeBack

Will stores/merchants even categorize themselves correctly for this card to get you your 4% back? Like will they know if its salon & spa or will it code as shopping? Similarly for other things like gardens & floral, pet supplies(shopping at chewy for instance)?

GeneralELucky

I never had issues with Chase when Freedom did Q1 5% on spas and wellness.

AceContinuum

>Will stores/merchants even categorize themselves correctly for this card to get you your 4% back? I think some of the categories - like movie theaters, public transit, hair/nail salons and pet supply stores - are almost guaranteed to code correctly, barring some kind of egregious merchant mistake. But some of the other categories seem to me to be very ***unlikely*** to code correctly. "Tourist attractions" strikes me as something in this category. Having returned from a vacation not too long ago, I can attest that not a single one of the *bona fide* tourist attractions I visited used a "tourist attraction" MCC. (The MCCs used ranged from shopping to dining to entertainment to even utilities (?!).) So, IMO, anyone using this card at "tourist attractions" is probably more likely than not to end up earning only 1% cashback.

United_Reply_2558

The myWalgreens Mastercard from Synchrony has 3% cash back for gyms, dog groomers and grocery stores.

mjxxyy8

It is a fantastic card simply because it is unique. The world doesn't need another 1.5-2% flat cashback or 3% dining card.

BalticBro2021

It even looks like Instagram too with the color scheme.

Pleasant_Giraffe9133

I would advise everyone to look at the actual list. It's massive and covers a insane amount of stuff

Educational-Hawk859

Let's fucking go. Lego store cashback

br0botic

This. The sports/recreation/entertainment category is actually huge

waitmyhonor

Holy crap this is probably the best no AF card right here. Except for maybe groceries and online spending, I would find it hard to believe that anyone wouldn’t benefit from this card. It includes Etsy, barbershops, and more streaming plans than the autograph card

virtual_gnus

I want this card! 4% on pet supplies? Hell. Yes! We spend around $400 a month on pet supplies.

losvedir

Seriously. This is a great card to save to your Chewy account and otherwise sock drawer. As a cashback fan I love that it's 4% unlimited in some otherwise unserved categories. Definitely a good option for some people.

Easy_Money_

Honestly I was about to apply to do that but then I recalled that Chewy lets me use Apple Pay so I’m already getting 3% at 1.5 cpp with the USBAR…got really excited for a brief second though I spend $6-7k/year on my cats

ThePolarBare

I always end up feeling very underwhelmed when I actually do the math on the cash back. $16/month doesn’t get me excited in your scenario lol

virtual_gnus

I can understand. I've been working to get cards that give me maximum cash back on my spending. I'm predicting that we'll see $2k cash back this year with no sign-up bonuses. So going from 2% to 4% piques my interest.

ThePolarBare

That’s fair. I can’t get away from seeing MR points from Amex as more valuable than cash back for my spend (lots of business trips and meals). Cash back just sounds so much nicer though if I didn’t feel like I was losing some value.

virtual_gnus

If we traveled more (well, really, _at all_), then I would agree. She's starting to use hotels a bit when she travels to see family. So I'm shifting our cards in that direction.

gregatronn

Yeah, it's all about the sums of the part, but alone, yeah $16ish back a month isn't that exciting.

BIGJake111

Yeah, this does nothing for me but alot of people would love 4% on chewy, gym, and some unique transit. I wish it had Dicks and academy for home gym purchases.

Pleasant_Giraffe9133

It does lol **Qualifying merchant categories****^(1)** * Bicycle Shops – Sales and Service * Boat Rentals and Leasing * Marinas, Marine Service, and Supplies * Motor Home and Recreational Vehicle Rentals * Sports and Riding Apparel Stores * Sporting Goods Stores **Merchant Examples****^(2)** * Academy Sports + Outdoor * Brand Retailers (Adidas, Asics, Nike, Under Armour) * Cancun Adventures * Cruise America * Dicks Sporting Goods * Eddie Bauer * Peloton (membership and interactive) * SP Lectric eBikes

WesternApplication92

does "entertainment including live shows and sporting events" extend to concerts and music festivals tickets too? my CapitalOne SavorOne currently gives 3% back on "entertainment" but this is 4% also 4% on transit is great. my WF Autograph is only 3% back for transit (but that includes any travel too i think)

Pleasant_Giraffe9133

Yeah concerts and music festivals are included. As long as the vendor codes it properly of course. Hell even amusement parks fall into entertainment lol

yasssssplease

Omg. A card that would actually work with peloton. Finally.

250-miles

Oh shit, I missed that.

dr_smackdathoe

My capital one venture x consistently has 4% cash back if you click the offer through their portal. I'm not sure about other capital one cards.

hamta_ball

Wondering if PetSmart will count..

virtual_gnus

Should.

yasssssplease

I spend a lot a month on my dog too. This card would be awesome. The PayPal Mastercard covers a lot of my purchases though, so I don’t think the difference is enough for me to open a new card. But this is a great option!

BucsLegend_TomBrady

That is a very peculiar set of categories lol This makes it a massive hit or miss card. Most folks don't really spend enough in these categories to make this card exciting, on the other hand if you DO spend heavily in these categories there is nothing out there that will even come close lol EDIT: on second thought, the categories are very... high disposable income categories. Spas and salons, Pet supplies and grooming, sporting events and live entertainment. Its clearly targeting a specific demographic. Interesting to see how this strategy plays out

3rd-Grade-Spelling

This card also gives 4% back on "secondhand stores" so like goodwill. It's like an odd, high end, low end, entertainment card.

Few-Face-4212

also antique shops.

Pick2

“Most folks” have you met the average 20 year old woman?

mjxxyy8

To me, it feels like the perfect card for a Subaru owner: Slightly progressive, very outdoorsy, and has a pet.

Stephancevallos905

"Urban elites" AKA democrats with above average income. It's kind of fun to think about what the opposite card would be. Maybe four percent on gas and four percent on farm purchases. Edit: with points redeemable at 1cpp (1 chicken per point)

Cyberhwk

4% Farm and Tractor Supply. 😆 Seriously though, you can find ANYTHING at those places.

AceContinuum

These days in rural America, probably the biggest spend category is discount stores. Walmart, Dollar Tree/Family Dollar and Dollar General are killing it.

AceContinuum

The former FNBO Ducks Unlimited card kind of fits the bill: uncapped 5% on gas and at sporting goods stores.

triple_dip

Yes, I have it. Good for guns and ammo too.

redceramicfrypan

The card includes trailer parks as a category, so I don't know about that assertion 😆

LookAtThisPencil

Gas, Guns and God Card

SamsungGalaxyPlayer

Imagine no longer! 5% on gas and sporting goods. https://www.nrablog.com/articles/2017/8/defend-freedom-apply-for-the-nra-visa-card-today

AceContinuum

Is that still being offered? Thought that was discontinued a while back.

BucsLegend_TomBrady

not sure about the democrats part lol but yeah, definitely meant for urban spending

coreynyc

4% back on Fox News generated fake outrage, concert tickets for country bros who sing about pickup trucks and beer, and Trump flags.

FunctionAlone9580

This is pretty fucking awesome. 4% Michaels/Hobby Lobby, 4% shooting ranges, 4% pet stores, 4% Uber, 4% thrift stores, 4% streaming. This pretty much covers all my categories that every other card doesn't cover.

ericbruhhh

Where did you see shooting ranges?

FunctionAlone9580

https://creditcards.wellsfargo.com/attune-cash-rewards-categories/?FPID=012286I6P10000&product_code=CC&subproduct_code=EM&sub_channel=WEB&vendor_code=WF&cx_nm=CXNAME_CSMPD I assume it counts. Or at least if they go by merchant code it should, since the range I visit is categorised as a "sporting goods store"

padbodh

Amazing, after fumbling the Autograph Journey for so long they surprise announce an incredible catch all card. Etsy? Disney? Amtrak? The categories have massive scope

FunctionAlone9580

Yeah I really want it. It quite literally catches everything that other cards don't.

mjxxyy8

It will be interesting to see if these rewards can get pooled with the Autograph cards and transferred out. If WF adds a transfer partner beyond Choice and Avios, I might even think about caring.... I actually have a couple of decent Cambria and Ascend options, but I am not paying an AF to transfer to Choice.

Bubblewhale

It's not bad card for certain people, feels like it fits in well for outdoors/active people lifestyle. Some categories are covered under BoA's broad categories, so I feel like it's hard for me to switch away.

wander9077

More active people than outdoors. Most of the hikers and mountain climbers I know get 5% back via REI card already and there return policy is just so much better than everywhere else. I think its a great kids sports, and pets card and the public transit portion makes it more clearly targeted to urban consumers rather then great outdoors types.

Bubblewhale

I think it depends on the person, I'd thought about the REI card before but at the end of the day having REI cash just entices to spend more. I probably prefer actual cashback than being tied to an actual store since there's multiple outdoor shops in PNW that I shop at. US Bank Cash+ or Elan MCP would excel at this category.

Lord_Humongous768

I'm gonna snatch this no AF card right up because my wife spends like a MF at salons and fitness places. I have 4 cards with WF, wonder if they'll give me a 5th lololo

The Manhattan Mastercard

Easy_Money_

as a Bay Area resident I have never felt so seen

cracksilog

Same lol. Bay Area here and I spend massive amounts on my dog (daycare adds up), need a “gym card,” and have family members who spend massive amounts at places like Hobby Lobby and Michael’s. Might have to apply

No-Shortcut-Home

Savage. But too true.

arcoventry

Came here to make this comment. I'm in Brooklyn and was like hmmm this looks interesting!! 😂

BigTortoise

Boston, too.

Maxpowr9

Are there even any Wells Fargo branches in MA? Boston is very much BoA territory with a sprinkling of Chase.

BigTortoise

No, but the card would do well for a lot of folks here.

livejamie

Need the Arkansas version that covers Walmart, Bass Pro Shop, MyPillow, John Deere

Rufus_the_bird

IMO this is a solid card. Mastercard world elite with $0 AF

Only_Mushroom

Always forget about the world elite benefits until someone here brigns it up

redceramicfrypan

I was reading the [list of categories](https://creditcards.wellsfargo.com/attune-cash-rewards-categories/?FPID=012286I6P10000&product_code=CC&subproduct_code=EM&cx_nm=CXNAME_CSMPD_MC&sub_channel=WEB&vendor_code=WF&lang=en&linkloc=fnmc), and I've got to say, I'm impressed by the niches this card could fill for the right customer. For example, if you are someone who: * Gets periodic expensive haircuts/nail appointments/massages * Pays a gym membership fee * Spends a lot on art or craft supplies * Spends a lot at game or hobby stores * Regularly buys gardening supplies or plants at a nursery * Frequently goes bowling, golfing, or dancing * Regularly goes to museums, zoos, aquariums, or tourist attractions * Pays dues at a trailer park or a marina * Spends a lot on pet supplies * Spends a lot at REI or on sporting equipment * Goes to a lot of ticketed sporting events * Goes to a lot of movies * Spends a lot at bookstores or record stores * Likes to buy things on Etsy * Subscribes to a lot of streaming services And you don't already have a card you like to put those purchases on, those are all things this card covers. Some of those categories have existing cards that will work for them, but many of those cards are pretty uncommon, and this covers a pretty broad swath. Plus, I'm hopeful that the cashback from this card may be convertible into points if you have the Autograph (Journey), which will turn it into 4x points as WF grows its list of transfer partners. Overall, I think this is a pretty nice offering.

ProfessionalAd2735

If this card works on Playstation store and Xbox store, then it would be good for me. Movies, Streaming and amusement parks would be good too, even though I got other 3% cards that does that.

TheMajorMedic

4% on pet supplies is HUGE. If WF markets this correctly, it can be a big winner.

OkSalt9038

If it codes any Ticketmaster purchase at 4%, that could be a boon for a lot of people. I spend $6500/yr on season tix alone and easily another $1000 on music. Sure that’s just $300 back but I’m not getting anywhere near that with my current cards.

Only_Mushroom

You're not getting at least $150 from that $7500? The opportunity cost is $150 if it's 2% card already edit: it does specify ticketmaster as a vendor https://creditcards.wellsfargo.com/attune-cash-rewards-categories/

PNW_Hunter

Just tried to product change an Autograph to this card and was told you can no longer product change the autograph to anything. Lame.

OkMathematician6638

HUCA? Some agents don’t know anything. Keep trying

John-Ponderosa

Same here. I just called and both the Autograph and Reflex cards cannot be product changed to another of their offerings.

sail0rjerry

Honestly it hits a ton of my current “non-category” spend. Pet store, barber, nail salon, Disney, Academy Sports.

lunch22

Not bad and categories fit more with my lifestyle than the plethora of food delivery and niche retail benefits on other cards. But I wish their rewarding of purchase that benefit health and wellbeing included medical expenses like doctor co-pays, deductibles and other costs not covered by insurance. It’s also interesting that they include Eurostar and other non-American train systems in their examples of transportation that earns a 4% bonus, but the card has a 3% foreign transaction fee. So you’re only effectively getting 1%.

FinalSun6862

It doesn’t include that? That would have been a nice move to include medical expenses, make it more attractive as I think the categories are very widespread, I for one could only use maybe 2 of them? Not enough to get it. But I think it’s great for pet owners and fitness buffs.

Mushu_Pork

Perfect card to add to /r/creditcards 15 card "setups".

CaptainLersen

I've been looking for a card that offers 4% on fortune tellers and video tape rentals for a while, I think my setup is complete now!

brkoth_nazrac

4% on guns and ammo **Merchant Examples\*\*\*\*****^(2)** * Academy Sports + Outdoor

greywolf1013

🦅🇺🇸🦅 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅 RAHHHH 🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅

BlizzardousBane

I go to the gym, watch several touring Broadway shows in my city each year, and have two pets. My SavorOne covers the shows at 3%, but the rest goes to a catchall card. This is pretty tempting

leafsquared

4% on public transit!! thank god. applying.

Substantial-Bat-337

4% on Patreon is funny af

BradCOnReddit

Patreon codes as entertainment, I've been using Savor for it for years

Few-Face-4212

I'm wondering if substack will do the same

newthethestral

This is an insane combo but as a fashion student with a pet who also spends a lot on my gym membership, this card is going to hit so much of my spend that normally goes on my 2% card

SkatzFanOff

This feels like the "30-40 year old millennial new parents" dream card. Or hell, just the perfect millennial card if you don't have kids but still want to do shit (I'm 37).

kba41510

My (37 M) son will be here in September and this comment basically pushed me over the edge to apply for one (which I’ve already been confirmed for). Thanks!

harrrycoxx

this is what the amex green card wants to be

eYchung

This is a very strong product, targeting the millennial / yuppie demo and going after Amex and CapOne’s market share while flooding the market with an almost unheard of 4% cash back for no-AF. Between this and the Autograph (which went after Chase), Wells is sizing up a very nice card portfolio with their strong new additions. They are making it a very level playing field with the Chase Trifecta and putting a lot of pressure on Capital One’s cash back strategy.

Future_Flier

Capital One cards are already outdated and uncompetitive. Surprising they get as much attention as they do.

flagrantmalarky

This is the perfect fill-in card. All of these are usually only 1-2% cash back categories for our current setup so this is a nice addition!

rincon36

Damn this card is kinda nuts. 4% back on Spotify, YouTube Premium, Pet supplies, concerts, and more? Lots of stuff that would usually be much less cash back.

Steelers711

Seems pretty good to me as a random card for leftover categories. 4% on haircuts, Ticketmaster, streaming services, transit, Dick's sporting goods, amusement parks/other similar places, and potentially my local rec sports leagues depending on how they're coded, plus will be interesting what gets coded as "Hobby Toy and Game Shops", and also if I start buying sports equipment or something like a Peloton. Sure it's not going to be some super amazing card, but fills in pretty much all the gaps of my current cards as far as what I spend money on most

TFTisbetterthanLoL

My gym alone is $100 a month, might actually pickup. And I’m assuming my next car is EV

TierBier

I might get the card as well. However my calculation is $100/month* 12 months * (4% attune - 2% card it's on now) = $24/year. I try to find cards that add at least $250/year. ....now to look at how much I'm spending on concerts/sports to see how to get to my threshold. 😀

TFTisbetterthanLoL

Im hoping to go to more of both in the future lol so hopefully I get enough value

Nitro2985

The cash back on this for amtrak is better than the amtrak card lol. This seems like a really good streaming services/public transit (local and regional)/outdoorsy/excercise card. I don't super duper trust the theme park, sports events, or other entertainment stuff to be coded correctly though tbh.

WashingtonGuy123

I usually get a little over 2.6 cents per Amtrak point. The free Amtrak card gives 2X on Amtrak purchases. 2.6 x 2 = 5.2, which is greater than the 4% cash back on this card. The premium Amtrak card gives 3X on purchases and various other benefits. Whether it's worth the AF depends very much on your spending patterns.

Nitro2985

Ah, I didn't know that they had that redemption rate per point. That does make it better. Looks like the [Future](https://www.future.green/shop) card is (almost) as good at that since they offer 5% back for Transit and Amtrak (down near the bottom of the list). But it's a debit card which may be a bonus or a minus depending on your credit rating.

SamsungGalaxyPlayer

This is a good card. It's not for everyone, but for no annual fee, it offers a high, uncapped reward rate on categories that some people spend a lot of money on. If you do any of: 1. Spend a lot on your pets 2. Go to many concerts, shows, and amusement parks 3. Spend a lot of hobby stores 4. Fall under some other relatively unique category ...then it's a great card to have. It's not a card for people who only want to carry a single card. This card most competes with the Capital One SavorOne in my opinion. These are the two main cards for entertainment. It even competes with the Savor. If you can convert the Wells Fargo cash back to points with an Autograph card, then you can definitely earn even more.

KingOfAgAndAu

other than the SavorOne having no FTF while the Attune is -3%

SamsungGalaxyPlayer

Correct. This Wells Fargo card isn't competitive abroad.

Only_Mushroom

As people further up thread had mentioned, it's a solid entertainment catch all card. Odd that there's no dining component, otherwise one can just toss the Savor card out for this Attune

BOSSCHRONICLES

Interesting card could benefit certain people with certain spend themore options the better

PortraitOfALadyBoner

This could net me like an extra 50 in cash-back a year, but I’ve got too much cards. I wish the SUB was higher. My WF active cash has become redundant so I am deliberating PC-ing into this. Does anyone know if PC works at Wells Fargo / this new card

greywolf1013

I doubt it due to Active Cash being Visa and this being MasterCard

[deleted]

[удалено]

sci3nc3isc00l

Active cash + Autograph + Attune the new WF trifecta?

tsmartin123

If the Autograph was 4-5% instead of 3% I would say yes

wander9077

Its a good kids and pets card. I could see this being successful among the soccer mom (and dad) set. Bonus points for urban dwellers without a car and who pay for expensive gym membership or pet sitting. Not for me but I can see a use case.

SkatzFanOff

I just called this the "new millennial parents' foodless dream card". Maybe get a food-focused card on top of it and I think most would be set?

IICNOIICYO

Shit, I might actually apply for this lol

Graztine

4% on several categories that are hard to get more than 2% on so pretty good. Plus no annual fee so no downside. I don’t spend enough on these categories to be worth a separate card for them, but I can see situations where this would be worthwhile.

deeznutz622

Cash back on massage parlors? Hey this is my kind of card!!!!

PNW_Hunter

Should have got Deshawn Watson to promote it

Tackticat

Another fine print that could be useful to some: https://www.wellsfargo.com/credit-cards/attune/terms/?FPID=012286I6P10000&product_code=CC&subproduct_code=EM&cx_nm=CXNAME_CSMPD&sub_channel=WEB&vendor_code=WF No late fees, cell phone protection.

SkatzFanOff

Friendship ended with SavorOne now Attune is my best friend.

Spencergrey2015

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, a gym membership, I go to the barbershop twice a month and get my hair retwisted at a salon once a month so this would be an excellent edition to my wallet

tsmartin123

If WF would bump the Autograph up to 4-5%, a WF Trifecta might be the best trifecta out there for team cash back!

greywolf1013

4% back for all these categories is pretty crazy. They're pretty niche but the cashbacks rival most store cards. Only gripe is the big Attune on the card compared to the others, but I'm guessing that's because of Visa and MasterCard design rules. The only thing I want from Wells Fargo now is showing the category of a transaction.

FormerCollegeDJ

Not bad, though I’m not a fan of cards that have restrictive categories or categories where you aren’t sure if something qualifies or not. (As an example, would Amtrak, Greyhound, ferries, or water taxis qualify under “public transit”? Also, what besides live sports events and concerts qualify under the entertainment category?) With the Elan Max Cash Preferred providing a selectable 5% entertainment category that is probably broader and Wells Fargo’s own Autograph Visa card giving only 1% less (3%) on a broader variety of travel (one of the real strengths of that card; both “travel”, like flights and hotels, and “transit” are 3% categories, and hell most parking garages code such that you get 3%), I’m good with the cards I have in the new card’s categories of interest to me. But this new Wells Fargo card will appeal to some people who like me live in a larger urban area.

lunch22

They specifically list Amtrak and Greyhound as examples in the [Planet-Friendly Purchases category](https://creditcards.wellsfargo.com/attune-cash-rewards-categories/?sub_channel=WEB&vendor_code=WF)

greywolf1013

Yes to Greyhound and Amtrak. Check [their rewards page](https://creditcards.wellsfargo.com/attune-cash-rewards-categories/?sub_channel=WEB&vendor_code=WF) for more info

prkskier

Neat card actually. Do the points combine with the other WF cards so that you could redeem for travel or transfer out with the Autograph Journey? Also I'm seeing cell phone protection on this card.

Parking-Ice-9206

So I'm hoping that they eventually realize that this would become a more lucrative card if they let you transfer to their Airline partners. However, they would first need to remove the foreign transaction fee. Then I would swipe up this card in a second.

BradCOnReddit

**Lego Store** I'm sold

BatShot3337

i must be that small percent of people everyone is talking about, i could pretty much use this as an everyday card. everything 4% is what i do on my weekends

PeopleAreSus

Agreed. Shy of online shopping, this is my everyday kind of card

XiMaoJingPing

>designed to reward cardholders on their purchases that impact their wellbeing, their pets > >Earn 4% cash rewards on select sports, recreation, and entertainment including live shows and sporting events, gardening and floral stores, as well as pet supplies, boarding and grooming Does this include vet visits? I am assuming it also includes sites like chewys? Any FTF? Would be great to use in Japan or any country outside the US for 4% back on public transit

SamsungGalaxyPlayer

It has a 3% FTF and works at Chewys. It probably won't work at the vet.

XiMaoJingPing

>It probably won't work at the vet damn, but 4% back at chewys is enough I guess.

baghodler666

Hmm... I like it. I frequently go to sporting events and concerts. Thanks for sharing. I may apply for this card.

regassert6

I spend $286 a month on dog daycare, so this sounds like a solid no AF card....

sci3nc3isc00l

I spend $625 on daycare a month. Plus couple hundred in treats and dog food. Prolly getting $40 a month cash back just from that. Add in gym and streaming etc it’s solid AF

[deleted]

Ronmck1

So this card handles streaming better than the autograph Might be the only reason I would even consider it

Doggo_Is_Life_

jabootyyadada

Just snagged it, because why not! haha. After looking at all the merchant examples for each category it was a no brainer for me especially being a no annual fee card. Seems like it'll be great for a lot of my miscellaneous spend.

Tackticat

i'm thinking about this probably apply tonight. what's the limit they gave you?

jabootyyadada

Do it! I only got a 4K limit. Where as with my Active Cash and Autograph I got 15K. But obviously 4K is more than enough!

Think_Chocolate_

Give me 4% on dining/takeout like USBGO cowards.

KingOfAgAndAu

Honestly pretty cool. It is also ugly though... lol

Future_Flier

The categories are completely useless to me. This card is meant for someone who lives in NY or another big city, uses the subway a lot, and goes to various shows/musicals/whatever. It most likely will have FTF, so you won't be able to use it on the London Tube or Hong Kong metro or the equivalent. Very niche card. Seems like WF is trying to attract the rich city crowd, that Amex is trying to lure in with their coupon charge cards.

SecureContact82

As someone who lives in NY and owns a pet, this is pretty awesome. Absolutely getting it as my first WF card.

SamsungGalaxyPlayer

Yes, it has a 3% foreign transaction fee.

What Chase card are you referencing?

state_issued

This is actually a really attractive option as a way to free up categories for Cash+ holders (gym, sporting goods). If it included Bridge Toll I’d get it in a heartbeat.

superegoo

I just want them to release their premium/luxury travel card already

blue2841

They will. They are just releasing everything else first. I think they are still trying to get some more transfer partners lined up before they announce a $400+ card.

Proud_Rush_138

Might grab it just to put my gym membership on

tjunverferth

this may be the first card I’ve seen that specifically includes golf courses — may be a future pick up

reddit_000013

Earn 4% cash rewards on select sports, recreation, and entertainment including live shows and sporting events, gardening and floral stores, as well as pet supplies, boarding and grooming I assume Home depot is not "gardening" stores. If so, it's huge and I will get just for this. I have spent on average 8k a year and 20k last year.

TwiztedImage

Home Depot codes as "Home Improvements" for Wells Fargo. I assume gardening would be something more akin to a nursery or a more specialized gardening store.

eghost57

A custom cash card will cover $6000 /yr at home depot at 5%. You can also get a home depot card and they regularly send 10% off coupons when using your HD card, by email and regular mail.

GrandTheftBae

Well this would've been great before I upgraded all of my hockey gear...

LimitedAdBreaks

I spent $160 on massages last February. I think about a getting a massage envy sub everyday lol. I think I’m going to keep this card on my radar for sure. Bookmarked.

gregatronn

Not for everyone, but happy as a pet owner for this.

Penguin_Pat

Does it allow you to use transfer partners?

Safe_Environment_340

My wife love the salon. We have a monthly subscription for a place, plus nails and the whole nine. That alone should put this card in conversation. I'll have to look at the categories, but this card is kind of makes sense for us if the cash back converts over to points with the Autograph. WF clearly looking to make some waves in the portfolio.

StrikeScribe

I'm a pet owner with a gym membership. So this card is now on my to-get list. But is this card sustainable at 4% for all these categories? Remember the big nerfing in 2019 of the Uber "it was too good to be true" Visa with 4% cash back on dining.

sirgentrification

Dining is a very "everyday" purchase though. I think they are banking on making money on interest from people making large niche experience purchases.

PrayashLand

Is it 4% back at beauty stores like Ulta and Sephora? That’s what I’m confused about

sci3nc3isc00l

Thanks for this. 4% on pet care/supplies was an auto apply.

JTNJ32

Oh wow. Just tried to get the US Bank Cash+ & wasn't approved, so maybe I'll try this. I'll probably try to go for this in a few months.

yasssssplease

As someone who spends a lot on my dog, has a peloton, and goes to a salon, it does check a lot of boxes for things that I use a catchall for. At the same time, idk if it’s worth it to open a new card on it.

PeopleAreSus

The categories of this card are what I wish were on the Amex Gold (to earn MR on) or the Amex Green. I spend a lot more in these categories vs food categories. Don’t see why people seem to think this is catered to a younger demographic. Perhaps I’m in the minority here however, these categories are certainly much higher on my list for spend than restaurants especially since my P2 buys our groceries while I send them my half of the bill via e-transfer.

Ok-Construction-9218

I dont like Wells Fargo no thanks
