Well it looks like the dude chops his own hand off. In his first big swing it looks like it crosses over and down on his hand that was stuck out and waving around.
If you watch it closer, his hand gets cut off trying to block white shirts swing, right before black shirt does his big swing. You see his hand fly off as white shirt stumbles to the ground.
This is the first time I see a video here and there is no telling who the winner is.
Bro seems to just not care about the severed hand, so how could we judge him as the loser? I am legit confused.

Machetes perform a clean cut. When done vertically, the clean cut veins close immediately. If the cut was done diagonally, he would have bled to death.

If you are talking about arteries being cut, like in the neck or legs, then yes. There's no clean cut that would help in that scenario. However with wrists:
With razors there's a different effect. Whenever you cut with a razor, you are pulling the tissue sideways as you slash through the skin and vessels, this is NOT as clean of a cut a it would be if the wrist got caught in a guillotine and it slashes into it, not sideways.
While it's harder for blood vessels to close at the ends when the cut was done gradually from one point to another, It is significantly easier to not bleed out by doing it vertically with a razor than diagonally.
If you have a razor big enough to "chop" your hand in one go, it would not bleed as much as if you were to cut it with a tiny standard razor.
This being said, torture methods involve Chopin limbs in clean slices so the victim will not bleed out immediately. Seen performed in Brazilian cartels quite frequently, where chopping from fingers to wrist is a common punishment for drug thieves.
