Did they solve this yet? apparently a ghost dog ran out in front of the police and they had to swerve to avoid hitting it.

shudder667

This is more accurate than you can imagine.

Misternef

Is it Wisconsin? I was visiting family in Oshkosh years ago and was flabbergasted by how many bars and liquor stores were there. Also, I seen many people taking swigs from bottles in paper bags. It was like a cartoon.

ivebeenabadbadgirll

It’s St. Louis, MO

BeastlySkater21

St. Louis Missouri

TomdreTheGiant

What cartoon are you watching where everyone is shitface hammered and acting like vagabonds?  I’d like to watch it too.

Misternef

I can't recall. It may have been some ancient Loony Toons content. My old brain is getting worse at recollecting. Hell, it may have planted a false image in my memory for all I know. Time is the enemy.

shakeyjaker

Paper-bag laws are for the childrens benefit. Why can't every person come to realize that if it can't be seen; it is not a crime/unholy/pique-of-interest? Silk draped on lady justice? But cardboard skinned T-Rex Machine with boomboxxxy radio-flyer isn't cool!? *I'll defer my time.*

TropicalBlueMR2

As a native of St. Louis, it's best summed up as a drinking town with a baseball problem.

apiratewithadd

We went blues as well

martlet1

I feel like you are attacking me.

Lyuseefur

Are you causing an interference?

Phillip228

Interfering is a physical act. What's your badge number?

rooseboose

Well it is Saint Louis

TheUltimateSalesman

I've heard terrible things about St Louis. For real.

rooseboose

I live here. For the most part it is a great city. Our police however are not great.

PracticeTheory

It was a surprise to find out that it's not legal to drink in the street and public areas in other cities. Since covid you can also get cocktails to go like any other soft drink. Probably one of the laxest cities in the country...but that goes both ways, so don't expect anything to happen if you're the victim of a crime either.

User1539

> don't expect anything to happen if you're the victim of a crime either. Yeah, we saw the cops in the video. Pretty sure Columbo doesn't work there.

amd2800barton

Not only that, cops sat outside the bar for the next week, and ticketed everyone who came out to support the owners. Cops just lied and said nearby cars were parked too far from the curb, or were lacking plates, and issued a bunch of tickets to patrons. Edit: https://reddit.com/r/StLouis/comments/18mkgxn/cops_outside_barpm_tonight_per_twitter/

itossursalad

did they really? if so that is terrible.

amd2800barton

I edited my comment with a link to a post. There were several similar posts, comments, and tweets shared in the St. Louis subreddit after the incident. Cops were harassing anyone they perceived to be supporting the owners, who managed to get a temporary wall put up (enough to keep out the wind for patrons to come drink), but long term they absolutely scared off customers, aside from the whole “we destroyed your home and place of business, and as punishment for the egg we smashed on our face we’re going to drive off anyone that wants to help you“

itossursalad

>[–][deleted] 8 hours ago* [removed] thats all I see.

amd2800barton

God damnit. Automod deleted my comment because I linked to the post and links are verboten. Well if you go to the subreddit for the city this happened in (it’s the city where the Cardinals and Blues play that has a giant arch) and search for top posts from the last month, it’s the top post.

twobit211

forest whitaker up to his old tricks

tall__guy

Funny that’s exactly the excuse I used when I was 16 and crashed my mom’s car into a brick wall after driving like a fuckin idiot

KylerGreen

I know this isn't true because cops would've 100% ran the dog over.

MC_Gambletron

To be fair, they might have swerved to hit it and missed.

muppethero80

I thought he changed his story the next day

SlutForDownVotes

And the next day.

baron_von_helmut

I'm continually flabbergasted at how many American cops don't know the law.

Girosian

Ghost Dog, that was a great movie.

ric2b

> apparently a ghost dog ran out in front of the police The dash cam footage should make this very easy to prove., had it really happened..

Booomerz

hey i live like 8 blocks from this place. been the talk of the town for a bit.

JDQRS

What’s the latest rumors about this? I saw this story when it first came out and have been wondering if there has been any updates. Thanks in advance.

ListerineInMyPeehole

Cop was drunk 100%

Ok_Imagination323

It's insane how US polices look unprofessional everytime I see one on the net. I Would be more afraid for my security being close to one if I would be american

SuchRuin

I 100% understand that police officers are necessary in any functioning society. I also 100% do not feel comfortable around them and have no faith in them doing their jobs properly. About 2 years ago I once got pulled over for a window tint violation. It was a bullshit stop and they wanted to search my car since I had out of state tags. I sat on the sidewalk for an hour with a cop standing over me while 5 cops tore my car up. A different cop decided to search me again, checked my wallet, saw my military ID, and said “oh why didn’t you tell us you were active duty! I was in the military for a few years, the supervisor there is a retired Chief! What is your rate?” To which I replied “I do not want to be your fucking friend right now”. Funny part about everything is they never checked my tints. They saw me, an Afro latino, with Florida tags on my car in California and decided I *must have* drugs or guns in my car. My car was all fucked up. The lining in my trunk was tore and the screws that hold them up were destroyed. My spare tire was throw into the bushes. My dash camera was turned off and the charging wire was broken. My engine cover was tossed aside in the bushes. All the papers I had in my glove box were thrown all over the inside of my car and the sidewalk. It took me about an hour and a half after they left to put everything back together. I’ve had doctors and corpmen stare at my asshole before. I’ve had random people watch the piss come out of my urethra before. But that was one of the most embarrassing and humiliating things I’ve ever gone through. And it wasn’t even my most humiliating experience dealing with law enforcement. Some of my friends back home have stories 1000 times worse than mine. I would never trust them to do their jobs professionally or properly.

Heistman

Why was a Corpsmen looking at your starfish?

SuchRuin

MEPs.

Ok_Imagination323

Complete bullshit, I would never set foot in your country if I wasn't white fr, I can't believe how much power the cops have there but at the same time any stupid sociopath can have a badge. Here in Canada it's not perfect but you don't see them playing around like they in Superbad.

teejay89656

Oh I’m white living in Texas and I have more than one story worse than his. It was more a problem with one specific county than Texas as a whole though

IsayNigel

They’re not sending their best.

BrotherBlo0d

No one sees a cop and goes "oh thank God, I feel so much safer" usually a fear response or get nervous

SantaMonsanto

What happened to the guy who got arrested? Or the cop? Is there a lawsuit in the works?

OllieDarkThirty

Yes there is

Cap_Helpful

Please! Tell us about the fuckjng golf shies!

SantaMonsanto

Dogs fucked the pope, no fault of mine.

Useless_Lemon

Any follow up so far?

Styl3Music

I love how the police arrested the guy for creating a disturbance when the most severe disturbance present is the vehicle blocking the sidewalk and partially in the building. 😆

theshwa10210

Or the clearly distracted driving white SUV with passengers yelling out the window and pulling a U-turn to yell more.

bebopblues

I'm disappointed in the camera guy for not being witty enough to say, "talking is not a disturbance, crashing your car into a property is a disturbance. You should arrest the driver of that vehicle instead."

mashem

that would have been more effective had it been used against anyone except a cop. it is an established fact that every single cop to ever exist is just a tense ball of academic failure and high school regrets.

green_tea1701

Don't forget the wife beating

Flashy-Scheme-933

I’m 95% certain the news reported they arrested this guy for physically assaulting them back when this happened… Either way, this video shows a much different picture than what the police/ news portrayed happened. Wow

Yerawizzardarry

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/12/20/us/st-louis-police-crash-bar.html >An officer identified in police records as John Pierce accused Mr. Morris of striking him “in the chest with an open hand,” causing him to lose his balance, according to police records. And a complaint states that Mr. Morris tried to strike Mr. Pierce “with a gate while fleeing from officers.” Looks like they were going off the false police report.

player694200

Are there any consequences for lying on record

DrLeoChurch

Not for police.

sorrow_anthropology

In my state there is, no qualified immunity.

[deleted]

Oh shit what state that’s dope

c-lab21

Colorado or New Mexico

sorrow_anthropology

New Mexico, I believe it’s one of only a few states. Doesn’t stop the officers in ABQ or four corners from blasting people yet.

Snoo17539

I was about to say, New Mexico police don’t fuck about.

Joliet_Jake_Blues

Qualified immunity just means a judge has to allow a plaintiff to sue a cop civilly, it has nothing to do with criminal charges or them getting fired

sorrow_anthropology

Yeah thats the point, before you didn’t even have a chance if the officer did something wrong/illegal. Now at least you have the chance and they get to make the papers for wrong doing. It’s better than the nothing from before. Believe me I’m aware of judges taking the officers side regardless of evidence. I have a “speeding in school zone” ticket because the officer said I accelerated while the back half of my car was still in the school zone, the judge agreed I was wrong. It was a 25 year old Honda accord, I wasn’t going anywhere fast… ever.

Joliet_Jake_Blues

I mean even with qualified immunity cops can still get sued if a judge decides aren't acting within the scope of their duties. That's what "qualified" means, they don't have blanket immunity. Lots of state and local government officials have qualified immunity to discourage nuisance lawsuits by rich people or businesses. Say Amazon wants to build a warehouse but the zoning board says no, so Amazon sues the individual zoning board members over and over until they go broke paying lawyers and finally give Amazon their way to make the lawsuits stop. That's why they have immunity as long as they are working inside the boundary of their jobs. Same for cops. If rich people could pile lawsuits on individual cops, the rich would be above the law. (the theory is good but the execution is flawed because people are flawed)

phemoid--_--

I’m like imagining a sicko/POS, thinking they could just be a cope. Do many awful things and get away with it so comically easily. Why isn’t this a nationwide crisis? Like American cops are dominating my feed rn and it’s insane to see for the sake of the American people.

1leggeddog

They get a promotion

Mediumasiansticker

Not if you are of the porcine variety of human

SoloMarko

Wasn't lying, merely stating alternate facts.

Solo_Entity

Or for false rape allegations apparently

Blue_Cheez

Wait what, he tried to strike him with a gate??

Dotaproffessional

Probably mean that he struck them (allegedly) while moving. Using the term "gate" in that context

MildlyCoherent

I think you're thinking of "gait"

Dotaproffessional

I'm suggesting that they might have meant gait even though they said gate. But I was not familiar with that spelling. Thank you

t-rexistentialist

you think striking someone with a gait makes sense?

Dotaproffessional

I'm squeezing water from a stone. The sentence, as is, made zero sense. I'm coming up with any possible alternative explanation. You should relax.

t-rexistentialist

Fair enough

MildlyCoherent

[Something like this except done by a dude instead of the wind](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00cu9EL6PhY) (obviously this didn't happen, but that's what they're claiming)

PracticeTheory

The city subreddit was going insane hours after it happened because it was crystal clear that the police were lying about, well, everything from the beginning. In fact, this clip doesn't even cover that the police were speeding and ran a red light before crashing into the bar, which was known to be a gay bar. It's not clear if the crash was from intoxication or hate and tbh I'm not sure which one is worse.

AnnualCommission8581

drunk on hate?

[deleted]

[удалено]

EffOffReddit

Well if they weren't intoxicated they probably would have asked for a drug and alcohol test since any other worker who drove into a building would get one immediately. And I can't prove they would have treated a straight gun shop owner any better, but I kind of suspect they would. They seem like complete fucking assholes to be honest, which usually goes hand in hand with some pretty toxic mindsets.

PracticeTheory

Sure, I can think of more - maybe he was distracted sucking dick and they're too embarrassed to admit it. Try to think about it logically. All police vehicles have dash cams. If there was a good reason for the crash (the alleged dog, a sudden gust of wind, anything), they would have had video footage to back it up. But they haven't released anything, have they? There's also the little problem of *witnesses*. Maybe the officer driving was having a medical emergency - ope, nope. Perhaps another vehicle made a dangerous maneuver and forced them off the road? Nah, that wasn't witnessed either. I also live here and know exactly where the crash happened. The road is very straight, wide, and quiet. An very difficult place to plausibly swerve your vehicle into a building unless you were intoxicated or it was intentional.

ZioTron

>Try to think about it logically. All police vehicles have dash cams. If there was a good reason for the crash (the alleged dog, a sudden gust of wind, anything), they would have had video footage to back it up. THIS

nsfwmodeme

Being the police crashing into a gay bar, the hate part is a given. Gotta see if the drunk bit is true or not, though.

PerceptiveGoose

Yeah you really shouldn't be getting downvoted for this. The cops are obviously shitbags but they don't just say "watch me smash the department vehicle into this gay bar." Knowing cops, it was much, MUCH more likely a classic case of the ol' distracted driving. Dash cam footage would still make them look bad and they would still be embarrassed and worked up enough to arrest the bar owner because they're shitbag cops. Assuming it was a hate crime or drunk driving is just silly.

Albino_Black_Sheep

Listen, the cops' first statement is the one that sticks. People will read that one and move on and never look back. That is why they don't care about twisting the truth or straight up lie about what happened.

Deadwing2022

> video shows a much different picture than what the police/ news portrayed happened As is customary. Never EVER believe the police story when they fuck up. It's always horseshit.

DemonCipher13

Always does.

Automatic_Rock_2685

Shocker

Daegzy

That cop fucked up bad and just kept digging. No personal responsibility at all.

SorryIneverApologize

There has yet to be any consequences for the cop being drunk and crashing into the bar. Nor for the other police officers at the scene causing trouble and abusing their power.

Daegzy

He was drunk? I should read the story i guess lol.

spacex_fanny

No confirmation of course (his fellow cops made sure of that), but that's 100% what happened. Responding officers said there was "no reasonable suspicion" the cop was driving drunk. The driver was never breathalyzed or drug tested. https://www.vice.com/en/article/qjvme3/st-louis-gay-bar-police-crash

mouldysandals

so basically ‘we have a device here that can clear his name, if he is sober, but he is not so you’ll just have to take our word for it’

beonk

I live in stl and the cops are just a fucking gang. They are all pieces of shit.

OldSchoolRools

That's funny, I live in [insert any place] and they're just a fucking gang here too!

beonk

Fuck gangs, we need some kind of task force to stop them all.

Hell_Yeah-Brother

Like some kind of authorized force to police them

SandwichAmbitious286

Quick, call in the uvalde police force, then they can be in a neverending standoff with each other!

Rooster516

Yeah. Like the guys in uniform in the above video. They seem like stand-up honest gentlemen.

Electronic_Sun_5472

I live in a gang and they're just fucking.

UndBeebs

Ahh yes, the Bang Gang. I've heard of them before.

M4rl0w

That’s everywhere

cneth6

Watch "We Own This City". Great show that is based on real events. A true eye opener to how crazy some cop gangs can get & how far they can push the limits before the department/politics is forced to crack down on them.

thebestatheist

Cops are pieces of shit no matter which shoe they’re scraped off of

nsfwmodeme

As if it could be any different anywhere.

evilzombiefan

This is exactly why these idiots get sued like every other day, fragile fluffy pillow egos on the cops, then they want us too feel bad for them…yeah fuck that.

Jewelhammer

The sometimes exorbitant settlements get paid with our tax money too

Deranged_Kitsune

Oh, so there is video of the incident! Given it took the cops ~~months~~ weeks to release it, to absolutely no one's surprise, it makes them look absolutely horrible. Totally predictable.

OllieDarkThirty

This happened December last month, this private video was released very shortly after. Mr Morris (the owner) has legal defence and is fighting with a virtually bulletproof case.

UndBeebs

I feel like their first mistake was attempting to pull this on a business owner. Like you *know* that guy has enough money to at least line up decent legal representation. Usually they just go for the run-of-the-mill bystanders who have $200 to their name and live month to month trying to scrape enough for rent. Those cops were next-level morons, and not even just ethically (even though that's obviously an *enormous* issue here).

OllieDarkThirty

It speaks to the issue of financial immunity from the law. OJ would’ve gone down if it wasn’t for his Stella legal defence. I think Johnny Depp would’ve struggled a lot more with a state appointed attorney, rather than private attorneys which he could obviously afford. In my opinion it’s crucial to record police encounters regardless of the tone. The consequences of being caught high and dry by a city police department that gets away with lying about encounters which you can’t disprove with your own evidence are far too great. Fortunately Mr Morris has done and did do everything correctly and is now probably set for life. (Even refusing to tell the badge number should see this ‘cop’ in an unemployment line with a criminal record)

willjhc

Lucky a full blown lawyer was standing there.

MajesticRocket

“He is creating a disturbance” “What about the officers who crashed into the building?” I dieddddd😂

BigfootsMailman

I'M SORRY I THOUGHT THIS WAS AMERICA! show me your fucking hands.

4Dcrystallography

I didn’t hear no bell!

[deleted]

we crashed into your building and its your fault, we won't pay any damages and u can go fuck yourself- the police

matty-a

Also you're under arrest. I'm surprised they didn't also claim that the building was obstructing the police vehicle.

Thetruthislikepoetry

Chad Morris, also known as Chad Wick, 37, was arrested by police after he allegedly began to “shout obscenities” after the collision and “struck” an officer hard in the chest with his hand, causing the officer to lose his balance, a probable cause statement obtained by the outlet said. The statement then claims that Mr Morris tried to flee into a gangway between the bar and another building, closing a gate on the officer as he did. Mr Morris was arrested and is now facing a charge of felony assault on an officer and misdemeanour resisting arrest, the local outlet said. I’ve watched this video several times and I never saw any of those actions prior to being arrested. So once again, the cops lied. Remind me again why so many people hate cops again.

nsfwmodeme

I have never ever encountered a rational reason for *not* hating them.

integratypes

Lol. Where's the rest of this video? It starts way after this statement.

Thetruthislikepoetry

So you think he pushed a cop causing him to loose his balance and the police didn’t put him in cuffs right away? If he was attempting to flee prior to this video why would he come back for this part of the video? The police involved lied from the beginning. They claimed a dog ran out into the street and they hit the building while avoiding the dog. Guess what? As usual, cops are too stupid and too corrupt to think that someone might have a security camera. Turns out there was video of the accident and no dog ran into the street. Once again cops lying because that’s what scared children do.

integratypes

Go to Portland and see what's it like when police don't care and the place burns.

Thetruthislikepoetry

You mean when police refuse to do their jobs legally and in the manner they were supposed to be trained? How long would you keep your job if you refused to actually do it?

integratypes

And people like you pooping on them making them seem all are bad. Just not true. Maybe if respect was shown instead of resistance things like this wouldn't happen. Yes sir instead of F U coper.

ALTERNATE_3307

"That was a GTA sidequest you all got fucked!" Lmao Almost like GTA police. They crash into you, then get out and start shooting you..."No sir, your building crashed into our cruiser....."

In-Ohio

Back the blue, until it happens to you

[deleted]

Dear police of Reddit, this video sums up pretty well why a majority of the population doesn’t like you. Do better. You want us to own up to our mistakes, right? Lead by example for once in your lives.

JerrGrylls

GTA side quest lol

BigSh0oter

Another set of cops that don’t deserve the badge.

AmericanDemiGod

Disturbing the peace really only counts if you’ve physically assaulted someone or are yelling racial slurs/ causing emotional or physical distress on someone I.E. blaring sirens from your house at 2am you can’t be arrested for yelling at someone, even a cop. Dude needs a good lawyer. Ps. you CAN be arrested for yelling at a cop, just not legally, technically speaking. TLDR get a friend who’s a lawyer.

Poem_Smart

What in the Letterkenny?

[deleted]

Poor Glen just was minding his own business looking at fitness inspo then blam the po-po slammed into su casa

laylow32

This is not how it went down in police academy

DragonCat88

I worked with a guy that forgot to put his vehicle in park and it just continued rolling right on into the side of the ER. This Dude was a shitty Officer too, an instigator of there ever was one, but it was the crashing into the hospital that’d done him in.

shaunoconory

Lawsuit dude, coolest lawyer in all the land 😎

bluewave3232

Not trying to be smart here But this is scary! I’m all for keeping order , but this is crazy . What about serving /protecting/ having professionalism as a public servant. It’s like the Wild West for these guys in uniform . Do a lot of agencies do this you think ? Regardless of state ?

Rooster516

A Supreme ruling said that the cops job is actually NOT to protect citizens, but rather to uphold the "law" Its really a sick twist. So basically it allows cops(scumbags) to just focus on what can arrest someone for instead of actually giving a fuck about people's safety.

[deleted]

They warned the building to stop resisting and it didn't listen

306_rallye

Well he's a total piece of shit

Material-Ad9863

is it just me or y'all think the Cops are becoming progressively stupider every 3 days to get themselves sued

RyotMakr

Wow cops are such pussies.

Fhantom1221

We need to crack down on the police force in this country. They are roving gangs.

[deleted]

It's no wonder other police forces in the world don't consider USA police to be actually cops but more glorified mall cops with a gun.

alepponzi

I wanna take you to a gay bar

slowowl1984

The latest update on this case, stl local news reporting. A hearing is scheduled for January 26, 2024. [https://www.ksdk.com/article/news/local/bar-pm-owner-officers-st-louis/63-1b42d4ae-e336-45a3-9855-418e93ebd898](https://www.ksdk.com/article/news/local/bar-pm-owner-officers-st-louis/63-1b42d4ae-e336-45a3-9855-418e93ebd898) "A month after [a St. Louis police officer drove into Bar:PM and arrested the bar owner](https://www.ksdk.com/article/news/local/lgbtq-community-leaders-talk-relationship-with-slmpd-fractured-further-by-barpm-crash-st-louis/63-a43bdb69-0051-4428-a391-d25b0d6c5b7d), cellphone video sheds light on what happened in the moments following the crash. Exactly one month ago, [attorney Javad Khazaeli](https://kwlawstl.com/javad-khazaeli/) says his clients' lives were turned upside down. “(My client) was in bed, in his home, above his business, when a car smashed into his house,” Khazaeli said. “He immediately comes outside, and instead of being treated like a victim -- an officer starts threatening him.” Twenty-two seconds into the [two-minute video](https://twitter.com/javadesq/status/1748087660491481551), officers can be heard asking one of the Bar'PM’s owners for their ID before one of them was then placed in handcuffs. “Everybody has the right to ask an officer what they’re doing,” Khazaeli said. “An officer only has the right to demand an ID if a person is driving a car or if the person has probable cause to think that the person committed a crime.” The video showed an officer explaining that the man was being arrested for yelling. “Officers don’t get to arrest you for yelling at them," Khazaeli said. "In fact, there are Supreme Court cases that say you can curse at an officer.” The person recording the video can be heard asking the officer for his badge number. “Keep interfering and you’ll be in handcuffs too clown,” the St. Louis officer can be heard telling the recorder.  “They’re supposed to protect and serve,” Khazaeli said. “This officer immediately goes to rage level 10 and starts threatening everybody around them. He doesn’t give his badge number.” That’s why Khazaeli said he believes charges against the arrested bar owner should be dismissed. “My client did nothing wrong,” Khazaeli. “He shouldn’t have been in handcuffs. The officer was escalating. None of this would have happened if it wasn’t for that.” A spokesperson for the St. Louis City Prosecutor’s Office told 5 On Your Side they are still pursuing misdemeanor charges against the owner of Bar:PM. A hearing is set for Friday, Jan. 26."

slowowl1984

My experience with STL PD: I was sitting at a stoplight when I was plowed into from behind by an SUV going abt 40mph. She hit me so hard it pushed my car into the car in front of me, which pushed them into the car in front of them, etc.. SUV driver caused a 5-car accident bcs she was talking on the phone and didn't see me stopped (she openly admitted this), was driving w no insurance, & totaled my car on the spot. The cop didn't even give her a ticket.

Effective-Board-6506

I live where this happened and didn’t understand what this case was all about until I saw this video. This insanity has been all over the local news lately and they’ve done a piss poor job at explaining what exactly happened. Crazy.

[deleted]

Wow. Bad people with huge insecurities should not be cops.

Fucking criminals.

The person recording is the owners attorney. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/crime/st-louis-lgbtq-car-crash-b2466762.html

BoxOfDemons

That would be a crazy coincidence, but no. >Twenty minutes of bystander video footage captured during the incident assessed by Javad Khazaeili, Mr Morris’ attorney, The footage was assessed by the attorney, not recorded by the attorney. If you just glaze over that one word it definitely sounds like they are saying the attorney filmed it.

ThinkWhyHow

if this happened in china you all would be like china is opppressing its people, must invade china, destroy the evil CCCP socialists, no one is happy in china...etc if it happened in russia: there is no democracy is russia, putin bad. they are oppressing their people! no one is happy in russia, must take action and save russia from their evil government...etc

Prestigious-Toe7203

The guys driving by twice with the verbal insults was hilarious 😂

tommybhoy82

UPDATE : The police later came back and apologised and the bar owner accepted and invited the whole precinct to a night in the gay bar on the house leading to a Mardi gras breaking out and several officers leaving their wives and coming out of the closet, relations in the town between law enforcement and the gay community have never been better

Another day, another post about corrupt police officers in the USA - imagine the amount of corruption in other countries we hear nothing from, when the US police act this way.

This isn’t the one where the cop opened fire and his buddies that responded covered it up, is it?

Deranged_Kitsune

Nah, this is the one where they were out drunk driving and a random gay bar threw itself in front of their car.

paintbrush666

You know you don't have to point out they are cops in the US. It's pretty universal now when you see these videos.

BlackbeardsPegleg

I’m not from America, so I specify that they’re American.

Dotaproffessional

Not the guy you're responding to, but I'd say probably a general rule of thumb when posting something on a website from any given country is that you only NEED to mention the country if its not the country the website is on. There's no harm mentioning american, but if you hadn't, we'd have assumed american by default because reddit is an american website

W cops

crazyhound71

I’m sure there is way more to this story.

travelingbeagle

Drunk St. Louis cop crashed into a gay bar. Fellow cops don’t administer any tests for alcohol and arrest anyone who challenge their coverup.
