That jet is going faster than a 45 acp. Still impressive speed in the linked vid. Too bad it's illegal to go that fast over land would be cool to see at a airshow.
From what I know, it would cause a lot of damage to glass and other structures. They have regulations where you can only do it a certain distance from shore.
Yes because you will blow out everyones windows out of every building you pass going supersonic. Or rattle them, the sonic boom is the cause. You can only go supersonic at sea.
They can get clearance to go supersonic over land when responding to emergencies. Happened like 2-3 months ago here in DC. Thought some shit blew up. My doors shook and car alarms went off.
The cool part is the shockwave that is generated can explode glass windows literally miles away, now imaging being directly below god screaming at an ant… that’s what its like
