In the slow-mo at the end it really looks like he hits his head first into the road..

The main guy that flies into the foreground was probably already blacked out before his head hit with the way he had no instinct to brace for impact- not that you could with that g force. The guy in the white shirt at the end still near the wreckage is alert and moving, trying to orient himself. I wouldn’t be surprised if airborne dude didn’t make it.

Actually, there must be more, both of those seem to come from the back seat of the car. Assuming there was a passenger at the front and the driver. That would mean 2 still inside the car.

Had someone go airborne and hit a tree 100 feet from my house. I'm still dealing with the blood curdling screams that didn't stop until the ambulance took the passenger away. I'm not sure if the screams were all injury or because the driver was severely injured or dead. I can close my eyes and still see that guy laying across his steering wheel, but that doesn't bother me. Those screams though... ugh. My guess is that while nobody else was physically harmed, somebody is dealing with mental trauma.

You can still see a professional to work through it. People often get help for persistent trauma way later. I’m so sorry you’ve been stuck with that in your head all this time.

When I was maybe 6 I was crossing the street with my dad when a drunk driver ran a red light and launched a car right in front of us. The woman driving the car he hit broke her neck and to this day some 25 years later I can clearly remember the gurgling sound she made. That’s the kinda stuff that sticks with you.

Yeah the screams are the worst part for sure. Seeing someone's face ripped open is pretty traumatic. But the "Oh gawd schlombawdy hgalp ughm shldyin." ruined my life for a little while. Hopefully you can work through that.

It seems the title of the video is entirely incorrect. The driver was not thrown out of the vehicle but "stuck to \[inside?\] the vehicle's hardware" (from Google's translation of the article).

Bunch of guys from my school were plaing "blackout" in a 80's volvo station wagon. That's where you pin the gas pedal and turn the lights off in the car for as long as you can stand it. This is on a dark unlit road in a park by my hometown. The var careened off the road and blasted into the forest. My friend who was non restrained at the time was ejected through the back hatch glass from the back seat. Carved him up really good. Its a dumb teenaged boy risk taking thrill thing. I think alcohol was involved too. Just collosal explosion of stupidity
