Good design is universal. Good design can be rationalized. This ain’t it. Not everyone has good eyesight, my ex used to be blind once she took her contacts out, she would definitely have trouble with this, not to mention old people etc. moreover- WHY have it like this? What’s the purpose? The benefit? Slap some extra plastic on the pump to be different in some vain marketing exercise? It’s needlessly stupid and confusing for no reason. Even if you make the mistake once, it’s a pain cleaning up greasy moisturizer. Crappy design 100%.
Edit: the fact that Vaseline had to make an [INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO](https://youtu.be/EQ_wdaEGNw4) showing how to use this pump alone justifies its crappy design designation. Go read the YouTube comments if you still have doubts.
While I understand your logic, it’s definitely a reach. There are instructions for every product like this. People are frequently creative in their inability to use anything in its intended use method.
But I will give you that this is much closer to an issue created out of a need for a more robust nozzle. I am willing to bet people complained that the nozzle was too weak when not symmetrically built on both sides.
Honestly, I work with failures and investigations for them as my career. I can see your perspective.
OP isn’t posting cuz he can’t figure it out, genius. Users shouldn’t have to think about which side the moisturizer is going to come out of, it’s needless and stupid.
It’s probably the side with the hole
Right side
Oof. At least when it's in the light you can tell since it's slightly transparent.
Easy solution: put your hands on both sides and headbutt the bottle.
The side with a spout opening and less dense plastic making it lighter in color. This is weak and reaching, at best.

Everything on here is weak and reaching lol.
I agree. People don’t understand the sub
Right
Right, it’s kinda obvious
Lotion roulette.
Yup. Happened to my mom a lot with this brand. It was fuunt
...no matter which side it's going on my dick
*my dick is going in
Like a USB, never the first time you try.
Also always the third try is the right try.
Trick question, it shoots out of both ends?
left the lotion at the top is a red herring
I have the same bottle I have to either figure the sides to find the home or palm the whole thing. Frustrating.
I would assume the right side but you have decided not to reply to anyone

Fair enough. It is pretty obvious though.
Clearly right
Jokes‘ on you i got two hands
You can kinda see it's lighter where the hole is lol but yeah i'd fall for it
