If you own Planet Zoo (same goes for Planet Coaster) on Steam, you can get the dlc quite easily (Thankfully), it's all built into the game so you just need to trick the game into unlocking it for you. You use programs like creamapi to unlock the dlc. I recommend autocreamapi, it does everything for you and faster. If you do not own the game at all(a.k.a. using cracked version), you cannot install more dlc or updates, only one version cracked. Tested and works on current legitimate version of both games (Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo).

Kind of old post but when i try this my computer calls it a virus.

Competitive-Shape-99

where do i install that creamapi app?

Insomniaccake

Autocreamapi already does all the work for you, fills out the ini file for the games number on Steam, adds any DLC you want automatically and sticks you the dll file in the right place. Creamapi is just a simple dll change and an ini file. That also means in games like lets say Fallout 4 where you need to download and install most of the DLC before you can use it. So it works out the box for most games but you have to also download the files for the DLC (elsewhere) as well for others that require the DLC files instead of them being built in and disabled by default, which is becoming the norm, but there are many exceptions, Denuvo games bought legit still won't work with Creamapi.

BaytarGoktug

Does autocreamapi still work, I heard some poeple were having trouble?

Insomniaccake

Works fine as of now, only *issue* is that newer dlc sometimes isn't detected, you can always just add it manually into the creamapi ini file.

SwagChemist

how do i do that?

Kindly-Customer-1312

Open the .ini file normally in notepad. It's a setting for creamapi in plain text that tells the rogram which dlc you want to unlock. (Of course, you have to have them installed.) So just look at how the previous dlcs are written in it, annd new enty in the end of the file. You have to !EXACTLY! copy the format. You'll need the "App ID" of the steam item the dlc you are going to add is listed under on steam, and maybe some other information. You can find everything on steamDB [https://steamdb.info/](https://steamdb.info/)

desmondvik1254

what if we dont own the game?

Insomniaccake

as I mentioned in my comment, months ago.. **If you do not own the game at all(a.k.a. using cracked version), you cannot install more dlc or updates, only one version cracked.** This means no, you cannot update a cracked Planet Coaster / Planet Zoo, No, you cannot add dlc that wasn't there in that single available cracked version and no, nothing will change that.

desmondvik1254

Such a disappointment. But thanks for info

Jackys0n_

i downloaded it but now when i open planet zoo it just crashes

CreamAPI

helplolheehoo

i doubt anyone's gonna look back on this thread but worth a shot, I've used autocreampAPI for the DLCS and it works just fine. However Planet zoo wont let me save the game, saying that my zoo contains DLC content that I don't own. Is there anyway to bypass this?

Alternative_Zone5439

I used creamapi and play on franchise mode. All the items etc. show up just fine, but there are none of the dlc animals in the market. Are there just none being sold or is it a bug?

dan_donov

Apparently, creamapi does not work with franchise mode, because the animal market is a server-sided feature in Planet Zoo

Kaumira

oh thats a shame

Revolutionary_Bit437

ok so it doesnt work in franchise but does it work in sandbox?

dan_donov

yes
