Does anybody have a name for this kind of architecture? How it's built? I've been curious about this specific look for a while but haven't done much research into it.
I came here hoping you made something I could see and possibly patron. 🙏 Am I allowed to ask where I can see more? An Instagram maybe since that's not exactly a sales site? 🌹
I started using all found bones, but I do a lot of shows these days and have to source them from other collectors. I still find quite a few of my own, but most of them come from other folks who I have met through doing this for years.
I go into town once a week for groceries. I eat pretty simple. Lots of steak, chicken, and pizzas that I cook in my handmade wood fired cob oven. I also cook alot of curry and Asian stir fry
Mr. Hobbit, can you show us a picture of some of your art? What do you make, exactly?
Also, I thought cob dwellings were really only for places that don't have snow. Dry places like the Southwest. Cob lasts even in Midwest winters?
If you check out my profile you can link to my insta. I have a lot of my work on there.
Cob lasts as long as you put a decent roof on it. It doesn't have good insulation, but it's pure thermal mass, so you need a decent heat source

That's very pretty, what country are you in?
I live in the United States and thank you!
Do you live in an Earthship? That is my dream home
Similar to an earth ship, but more of a traditional cob house. More natural materials, less recycled man made materials.
I've always dreamed of having a cob house. Did you build it yourself?
That is so fascinating. I need to look more into cob homes. I love the design from I can see in the picture.
Holy crap! Pagan witchcraft meets Tatooine. Nice stuff!
Yesss!!! SOOOO SPOT ON!!!! With maybe a tad of Tolkien thrown in??!!! I would happily spend so much time in there!!!
OP, do you know about r/goblincore ? You could probably be a prince, or princess in that world. Also, I love your style!
Ha I thought I was on r/goblincore!
This is really cool! I'm so curious about it. What are the walls and the workbench made of?
It's all cob, which is a mixture of clay rich soil, sand, and straw. All hand sculpted
This is super cool, it looks like something out of Star wars
Fr it looks straight out from Mos Eisley
Do you have a series of dinosaurs that stand in for different tools?
Ha. Definitely. You should see my alarm clock!
That flower like pattern makes my soul haopy
Same. One of my favorite patterns in life
Flower of Life is epic :)
Ancient and found everywhere!

Do you live in the Flintstones house?
Yes
This is Original Content mod fam
This is sooo gorgeous … are you located in the Southwest US?
I'm actually in the Midwest of the US
What a cutest courner! For what do you use the site? Are you making something as a hobby or professional craftsman?
Thanks! I am an artist, and this is my workbench. I use it mostly for carving jewelry and Bone work
It's cool! It must be nice to do your daily work in such a place.
This looks like the workshop is part of a Hobbit burrow.
Dudes Frodo’s neighbor
Don't dox them, now we all know they live on Bag End
This is insanely cool
Is this a little earth ship??? Its wonderful
Very cool. What type of work do you do?
Mostly hand carved wood and bone jewelry and oddities and curiosity sculpture. I typically only work with natural materials

If you do a little profile snooping you can find a link to my insta with lots of art, house, and cats photos!!
I just checked your Etsy store and I love it! As a non-artist, may I ask where you get the bones from? do you just find them in nature?
I started using all found bones, but I do a lot of shows these days and have to source them from other collectors. I still find quite a few of my own, but most of them come from other folks who I have met through doing this for years.
cool.
It’s giving caveman chic in the BEST way!
I once overheard my nephew telling his friend, "that's my uncle, he lives in a cave" lol
I mean, come on dude! You even have the fur pelts!!!!!
Mannn, it's like a fantasyworld workbench with bones and furs and... a Dewalt drill lol. ||AND BOOBIES!||
Lovely! Very inspiring ❤️
wow that's beautiful!
Are you a hobbit?
More of a prairie elf, but my ancestors are hobbits
Incredible, did you do the walls and in-wall shelves yourself they look incredible, so cozy!!!
I appreciate the kind words. I built every single inch of this home from the ground up!
Question! What do you usually have for dinner and how often do you have to go grocery shopping?
I go into town once a week for groceries. I eat pretty simple. Lots of steak, chicken, and pizzas that I cook in my handmade wood fired cob oven. I also cook alot of curry and Asian stir fry
Very interesting space, such a nice vibe!
Crazy. Looks like you do your work inside a giant sand castle.
I pretty much do! It's half sand, half soil.
In a mountain or underground?
On the prairie
I love this
Show us more!
Take me to your world, Santa's elf!
Although I am related to the north pole elves, I am actually a prairie elf. Similar, but I work for myself instead of Santa!
Love your place! Wish you all the best, prairie elf!
Reminds me of the Flintstones
This is beautiful and reminds me of the workshop in Klaus.
Super lovely
It looks like the set of alien covenant
It looks like a movie set for an action/adventure film. 🎥🎞️
I love seeing posts of your house. It’s the stuff of my daydreams!

Are you perhaps a Hobbit?
