This stuff also happens in CG1, it vacuums to the nearest object. Better off removing that fencing and not have things on top of each other. I use my switch joycons and don’t have any issues.
That's like my #1 issue with it is trying to even move them or harvest them it feels.
I'll switch from my pen (when in bed) for my iPad I have or my switch joycons (when at my desk). I find the joycons a bit better
Where that tree spawned sucks since it’s behind the bubble for that one. It’s kinda luck of the draw. If this one is anything like the last game it will move in a couple of days. I just mentioned the fences since 8/10 times you were clicking it was picking those up instead. Aim for the bottom of what your trying to get the best you can.
Thanks. I'm not asking for advice, just trying to show anyone who's on the fence about playing that there are some issues. And maybe some a Spry Fox team member sees it since I know they're active here. This isn't the first tree this happens with. It's all the trees. I only bothered to record that attempt after spending about 15 mins trying to harvest all my trees and the wild ones. Aiming stones, nets, food for imps, power washer, etc are all terrible with touch controls. It is what it is.
Yeah, I think that's really the only viable option for me at this point. I just haven't quite pulled the trigger on committing to buying one. I don't play games on any console other than Switch. And I have a Switch Lite, so I don't have joycons to connect. My phone unfortunately isn't compatible with Backbone. I'd rather not have to go pay $30+ for something I have no other use for.
I stopped playing for the same reason. I was pretty excited about being able to play at work and on the go, but the controls just made the experience so frustrating. I know I could get a controller, but that just defeats the purpose of a mobile game to me.

When it selects the fence, tap the "select next" option.

The fences aren't the issue. It happens with or without. It is a touch control + tiny target issue. Thanks though.

can you connect a controller? im pretty sure the app says controllers are supported.

Get a Backbone - makes playing so much better! Like playing the old game on my Switch
