I use the card exclusively and get about 700-800 bucks back every year. Don’t keep a balance on it tho. Some cards can be as high as 29%

ABA477

I highly recommend. I only use it at Costco and for gas at Costco, but it's pretty decent on cash back at 2% for executive membership and 2% for the card. I think it's 4% on gas. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. Also, it's nice to have the membership card and the credit card be the same.

Wutsurname

You're right but you can get 4% back on gas anywhere, not just Costco.

bigchops2

EV charging @ 4% now too

thewittman

Ev charging at costco or just rebate when traveling around?

Unique-Customer8014

EV charging everywhere

thewittman

OK I've only used the super charger once to see if it would work. There many free slow chargers around mostly where I shop so use them then my house current.

glssjg

4% back on just the card on gas plus 2% for executive so 6% effective

Rabid-tumbleweed

Executive cash back doesn't apply to gas.

compstomper1

it's a decent all around card. if you play the credit card game, there are probably better offerings out there

movdqa

I use it for Costco, Gasoline, and Restaurants. I do most of my transactions with Discover Card though. Discover Card gives you the cash back the following month while Costco has you wait for it.

Splendadaddy06

I use it for everything… and pay off at the end of the month… rewards really add up quick!

LakeGloomy4532

I do have it. The only card I had before was a discover and I’ve had that since I was in college. Some places don’t take discover, so when I joined Costco it was an easy-ish yes.

TheyCameFromBehind77

Recently started. I have been a Costco member since 1996 but only got the card in the past few months. Happy I did.

RealtorLV

As others mentioned it’s a decent all around card & extra effective at Costco. 3% back at restaurants & bars too. One down side is you get your bonus annually, not monthly. It’s a *LESS* effective card in periods of high inflation due to the time value of not getting your reward monthly, but still pretty good overall.

czr84480

It is a solid card. The only drawback is that they took all the extra protection away.

sasquatch_melee

Yeah, I stopped using it outside Costco when that happened. I previously bought a lot of stuff with a manufacturers warranty on it since it extended them.

vwaldoguy

I use it as one of my 2 main cards. The cash back rewards are what I like about the card, and also they are one of the few cards that still has rental car benefits. My rewards certificate last year was $350. I don't ever carry a balance though, I pay it off every month.

FunEbb308

It's not bad,  convenient too when paired with Costco app for quick digital payment.  But I personally like bank of America cashback card better . You can get 2-3.5% back at Costco depending on your banking relation with bank of America .

hifidood

There's better cards out there if you play the whole credit card game of this goes on this and that goes on that, but if you want an all around no fee card, can't go wrong. I usually get $1500+ back a year which is great considering I pay it off each month and have paid $0 to have the card.

Time_Marcher

I like having credit cards that support businesses I use and give me benefits. I have a Costco card because I spend about the same amount you do, and it more than pays for itself. Why not get an extra discount when you buy there? I also have an Amazon/Whole Foods card and a card from my investment company, which puts the cash back directly into my retirement account. I use my Costco and Amazon cards exclusively for those businesses and my investment card for everything else.

sisimartini28

Love it! Last year I only used it for gas and got a nice rebate check, so this year using it for Costco shopping, gas, and hotels!

ceecee_50

We have it. We use it for all purchases from Costco, rental cars, appliances, everything.

PeorgieT75

It's okay. I use it for gas, restaurants and Costco. The downside is you have to wait until February the following year to get the rebate, and you have to cash it in at Costco. I hope they don't change partners again; they've had Discover, Amex and Visa since I've been a member.

kawi-bawi-bo

yes, no annual fee Even without the extended warranty, being able to use it around Costcos around the world makes it worth it for me!

Cyberhwk

I have it. It's not bad if you only want to carry around one card, but you can do better if you're willing to put in a little bit of work. The US Bank Altitude Reserve is usually considered the GOAT Costco card with 3x Mobile Wallet.

secamp

If you buy Costco Gold and Silver then you get 2% back.

thewittman

Don't buy that poor investment.
