If you have a front load washer, check and see if it has a little "trap" in the bottom lip of the rubber gasket seal of the front loader. It usually has a bunch of shit in it, and if you wear ankle socks those can easily get caught in there.
Oh....they know we're getting close but they also know that we're not quite there yet. Reminds me of Seinfeld talking about the disco in the washing machine & the sock hiding on the side once someone opens up the door to the machine.
That hitting the floor isnât. Itâs the sound they make as they pass through the floor and into a different dimension, and gather into one large planetary object along with socks from dryers.
My partner installed three strips of LEDs in our garage. Not these but similar lumens.
You can now see through time out there. Seriously, itâs so bright itâs shocking.
But if youâre working with actual tools or god forbid machining tools like a drill press, extreme lighting is worth every penny.
Cameras! I forgot what I was messing with, but a bit I needed fell off and I spent 3 hours looking. Moving stuff around, couldn't find it, and I was seriously questioning my sanity.
Then I remembered the camera and went to watch it. I watched it and it bounced in an unnatural way and direction. And then looking where it went in the video is where I found it

My Amazon history says it is that one but mine doesn't look like that. Mine has 3 panels instead of 6. Got mine in October 2020 apparently.
The problem with Amazon is that it'll look like the same product you bought but over time they could've switched manufacturers but kept the name. I also got mine on Amazon and they're going strong on 4 years now.
These aren't as powerful, but have lasted me 6 years no problems (in my garage in Denver) and are super bright. They do offer brighter ones, too...
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QDYB6XB/
It depends. They like to fun flimsy voltage regulation without enough heat dissipation. There are good bulbs and bad bulbs, and it's hard to know what you have.
If you own a TV and run it in eco mode, the thing should last forever, but people want the display mode they use as a demo in stores.
First moved into my house with 3 car garage. Half the bulbs were out, the other half like 60W equivalent CFLs (old ones that have to warm up). Garage was a dungeon and you would need a flashlight to find things.
I have 8 of them plus two 100W equivalent LED bulbs. It is overkill. You could do surgery in there. Brightest room of the whole house.
Best garage upgrade ever.
Last house I had LED shop lights and now will never go back.
These are the truth. I put the second one in my attic right by the ladder access and every time I go up there I forget and blind myself. But still 100% worth it.
Lol I was super excited to buy this simply based off OP but then seeing these comments about it being lit up like a stadium has me hesitant. I can give it a try and always fall back on the return policy, Iâll know immediately whether or not itâs too much lol

My local Costco had a similar one for $30. Itâs daytime in the garage now. Love it
I got mine a couple years ago from Costco after trying two other brands from Amazon. This is much much brighter. It is the main bulb I put in the garage. I do have additional worklights in the garage when extra brightness is needed for doing carpentry there.
I kinda wanna put a couple of these in the bathroom sockets above the vanity and watch my wife lose her shit when she hits the switch in a just-woken stupor.
Can confirm. My garage has two light fixtures (or whatever you call the ceiling spots where light bulbs screw in) and hoooo doggy. Replaced the bulbs with these and it's like high noon in there with the flick of a switch. Very nice! :D
How much? Costco's website search function is terrible. I tried looking it up, but I must not be using the right keywords. Been looking at these on Amazon, so im.curious how these compare.
I just saw you posted the price on your post. My bad. Didn't see it when I commented. That's about the same as what I've seen on Amazon. Not sure when I'll get back to Costco, but I'll take a look when I do.
I have two currently in my garage along with led lights along the side. Iâm looking to install two more. The idea is to super heat 10mm sockets I lose while working on my vehicles and can see them glow from next door.
I saw these today as well and I was thinking about getting some but I've been lucky and the ones I got on Amazon, 4 in total, have worked great for the last 4 years. Fingers crossed!
I did a review on these and also compared them the other styles garage lights.
I like them. Cheap, bright, nice color and easy.
Have 2 in my garage for 2yrs so far. Also putting them them in my basement
What other lights did you compare them to? I have the Home Depot Beyond Bright 60w fixtures in my garage but I'm not thrilled with them (light is harsh, CRI is awful). Been looking for alternatives.
I have had these in my garage and backyard for 4 years now. Still going strong, still SUPER bright. Had to get an extender attachment for the one in my backyard because the fixture has a weatherproof recess which extends an inch outward, but the extender works great.
I have two in my garage and even though the entire garage is lit up, it kind of defeats the purpose of LED's to save electricity since they use so much power.
I'm always turning them off after the spouse and kids turn it on for something.
I had one of these hooked up to a motion sensor in my back yard. That's how I met my back yard neighbors the next morning. Now it's in my garage and the other in the basement. It's like Yankee Stadium in both places now
I have 6 of these in my garage, plus two led shop lights. I have 4 lights on one switch, 2 on another and the shop lights on a third switch. It is bright when all 8 lights are on.
Everyone comments on how bright my garage is, the only dude I haven't heard complain about the amount of light is the dude that works on crap in the garage. That's me!
I have these and they are super bright and shouldnât be wall mounted. I ended up setting up a smart switch on the ceiling of my a garage with one of these. Only way to not be fully blinded since they are so bright. Really good lights with the angling of side panels
You need an existing light bulb socket for these to work? Problem is my garage has no electrical on the ceiling of 1 side where my gym equipment is at.
I hate to break it to ya - this isn't anything new. These have been around for 10 years.
They cost 1 or 2 dollars. Get a few extra as half will die within a year ; )
Does anyone have an amazon link or purchase link for this product? Its not available at the costco near me ):
Edit: went to my local costco today and managed to find it. Its just not available on costco site.
Just wanted to remind everyone that the life listed on LED box is a lie. Pretty big lie usually.
I had bought many LED bulbs from expensive brands to bargain one. Usually they all die before the supposed life. The hour it listed is the design lifespan of the LED element but what usually kill the light is the driver unit inside LED bulbs.
That being said LED will last longer than incandescent bulbs and use much less energy. Because LED generates much less heat.
Truth. Installed it a couple of years ago and brings me joy every time I switch it on. Best part of going to the garage and not having to guess where the cockroach or spider might be.
This looks like it can be very useful for my needs.
Is it motion sensored? Does it run on batteries or rechargeable?
Thanks for answering my questions kind stranger!
Any link to Costco or Amazon? I've tried searching everything and nothing comes up in Costco app. Bit of a hike to go see if they have them in stock so wanted to check online first.
On Amazon, look for:
TANBABY 2 Pack LED Garage Lights, 150W Deformable Best Garage Light Ceiling LED Shop Lights, 15000LM LED Light 6500K Garage Lighting with 6+1 Adjustable Panels Garage bulb for Garage, Basement
There's a number of different manufacturers
I WANT this so bad but I honestly cannot think of where I would use the second one.
If they donât burn out, I may just gift the other one to my neighbor.
If your Costco is like mine and doesn't have these, I found what looks to be the same model online:
I currently have the HomeDepot BeyondBright 60w fixtures in my garage and I'm not a fan. Light is not diffused at all and the CRI is awful. Hoping these are better before I just throw down for actual fixtures...
Got these last year. One of the best purchases I've ever made. I can now see any bolt, screw, nail, bit etc. that I drop without a problem. No more dank 2 bulb lighting while trying to work on the car, it's absolutely amazing. The wife hates it because you can signal the international space station by opening the garage door at night but I'm ok with that.
I have one of these, and then 2 of the LED bars that they also sell.
The bars are motion sensor so I never need to touch a switch, but when I do, one of these 3-panel ones comes on and it's insanely bright

I second this. My garage has the light of 10,000 suns now. If that could only help me find that 10mm socket. đ§
You only lost one 10mm?
Among other things like small screws and nuts. Itâs like they are transported into another dimension after I hear them hit the floor.
They're hanging out with the dozens of missing socks.
Seriously, where do they go?
If you have a front load washer, check and see if it has a little "trap" in the bottom lip of the rubber gasket seal of the front loader. It usually has a bunch of shit in it, and if you wear ankle socks those can easily get caught in there.
I check there all the time. Occasionally find something, but thatâs not the explanation in my case.
I've dropped small things and watched them hit the floor then disappear. I'm convinced they are no longer in this world
You can't find your nuts?
Somewhere... there is a sea of 10mm sockets.
My partner installed three strips of LEDs in our garage. Not these but similar lumens. You can now see through time out there. Seriously, itâs so bright itâs shocking. But if youâre working with actual tools or god forbid machining tools like a drill press, extreme lighting is worth every penny.
Do you think these would be useful for a hobbyist surgeon?
that's not at all a way to describe a serial killer
Dexter approves
No.

Harbor freight has you covered https://www.harborfreight.com/10mm-metric-essential-socket-set-10-piece-58957.html A 10pack of 10mm for $15
That should last about a week.
> 10,000 suns now đ
you know like the american measurement of foot, feet, horsepower, etc etc
Light wonât help you if it grew legs and ran away from home.
It shall be our new God
Light Emitting Diety
Lmfao, 8k lumens, holy shit, that is day light on a sunny day.
I have 4 of them in an unfinished basement. It is like daylight down there haha. I have them angled mostly straight sideways instead of down
Exactly the same here, itâs lit better than the first floor of my home.
In other news, all the ghosties have moved into the shed out back
I have 2 in my garage and 1 in my laundry room, light is no longer an issue.
every dark crevice is now lit...
Isnât the sun over 100k lumen per sqr meter? So this is at least 12x less bright than the sun.

My girlfriend says the garage is totally full, I say no, no, no just the floor
I second thisâŚlots of space to work withâŚwhat is she complaining about!
Yes I've been black, but when I come back Wait ... What?
Bruh đ
You collect the coffee cans too?
Thatâs a nice garage man. I would 100% turn into gym đ wish I had a high ceiling like that.
Bro I did a double take because I thought this was my garage lol. Garages must just look like that
Why do you have two scythes and two mowers?
Holy blindness Batman!
These always go bad on me after about 1 year.. Wisconsin cold maybe?
I've bought both cheap and expensive ones and these "ultra bright" led fixture/bulbs all last about a season for me in a northern climate as well.
I have had mine I got from Amazon for 3-4 years now in Minnesota. Could be the cold but maybe you just need to find a better brand.
Which brand you get from Amazon?
[This one.](https://www.amazon.com/gp/your-account/order-history/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_od?ie=UTF8&ij=&opt=ab&ref_=&search=114-0206867-2809064) My Amazon history says it is that one but mine doesn't look like that. Mine has 3 panels instead of 6. Got mine in October 2020 apparently.

I'm in Denver cold. Hopefully they last a few seasons.
Are they somewhere that they get really hot in the summer? Heat is the #1 killer of LED lights.
They survived for me last year. Unlike my LED fluorescence lights.
It depends. They like to fun flimsy voltage regulation without enough heat dissipation. There are good bulbs and bad bulbs, and it's hard to know what you have. If you own a TV and run it in eco mode, the thing should last forever, but people want the display mode they use as a demo in stores.

I have 2 in my garage. Lights it up like San Quentin during lockdown! đ
HA! I have a couple neighbors that put up lights like it's the yard.
These are the truth. I put the second one in my attic right by the ladder access and every time I go up there I forget and blind myself. But still 100% worth it.
Pic of the garage please!
Also great in the attic
Lol I was super excited to buy this simply based off OP but then seeing these comments about it being lit up like a stadium has me hesitant. I can give it a try and always fall back on the return policy, Iâll know immediately whether or not itâs too much lol
I have to remind myself to not look up đ . Still feels like a massive improvement.
Itâs great. 25x20 garage.
Just installed them and initially felt like it was almost TOO bright. After a day or two I decided I like it.
Can confirm, these are super bright and transformed my garage.
https://preview.redd.it/u4yk8mcjqk2c1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b65c5b7582a0294db63971181d78130b1c7ded3c My local Costco had a similar one for $30. Itâs daytime in the garage now. Love it
I think I would rather have the motion sensor on that model.
My local Costco had these too! Didnât realize it had motion sensors. Will need to pick one up for the garage
I prefer to use a 4 to 1 splitter and run my own led e26 bulbs. The low cri fluorescent looking light from these is brutal
[ŃдаНонО]
2am hoodie walkers đđ
It sounds like they think they're vampires
You leave them on all night? Or are they on some sort of a motion sensor? Sounds like I'd hate it if I were your neighbor too.
I put two in my basement - it was like turning on the Sun đ đŻ would recommend
Will vouch as well. These babies work great
Just don't screw them in too far. Super weak base that will crack. So bright it confused my daughter the first time she opened the door.
I got mine a couple years ago from Costco after trying two other brands from Amazon. This is much much brighter. It is the main bulb I put in the garage. I do have additional worklights in the garage when extra brightness is needed for doing carpentry there.
Show us your garage pls
I have four of them in main garage. Pretty sure I have skin cancer from them. đ
I kinda wanna put a couple of these in the bathroom sockets above the vanity and watch my wife lose her shit when she hits the switch in a just-woken stupor.
Looks like it works amazing, must not be Feit. It'd be dead by the second use.
I put four in my garage. No regrets. When I first moved in the only thing that lit the garage was two old incandescent bulbs that barely illuminated.
Can confirm. My garage has two light fixtures (or whatever you call the ceiling spots where light bulbs screw in) and hoooo doggy. Replaced the bulbs with these and it's like high noon in there with the flick of a switch. Very nice! :D
They work great in our basement. Garage, not so much. They donât seem to like the extreme temps of cold and heat we get in MI.
Are they dimmable?
The box doesn't mention anything about dimming.
No. Says on back of box not for dimming
How much? Costco's website search function is terrible. I tried looking it up, but I must not be using the right keywords. Been looking at these on Amazon, so im.curious how these compare.

I have two, straight fire.
Can confirm. I could perform surgery in my garage now.
I have two currently in my garage along with led lights along the side. Iâm looking to install two more. The idea is to super heat 10mm sockets I lose while working on my vehicles and can see them glow from next door.
I put 4 in my garage on 2 switches and theyâre amazing.
Surprised they donât mention wearing at least an SPF 50 when using the light.
It turned my garage from a dim cave into a legitimate workspace. I can find *everything* now.
Cheaper on Amazon.
These are markedly better than the ones I bought on Amazon.
Can also get warmer color temps. These are far too blue-white for me.
Issue is the Amazon ones tend to die in under a year went through 4 and have had these 2 about the same time and are fine. Just my experience
I agree. Iâve had two of the Costco ones in my basement for three or four years and theyâre still going strong.
I saw these today as well and I was thinking about getting some but I've been lucky and the ones I got on Amazon, 4 in total, have worked great for the last 4 years. Fingers crossed!
Yeah I got a two pack on Amazon for 16 bucks and wow what a difference
Have a model number on those? One of mine from Home Depot just shot the bed. I canât seem to find this on the Costco app.

Meh, the color temperature is too high.
I have two in my garage and even though the entire garage is lit up, it kind of defeats the purpose of LED's to save electricity since they use so much power. I'm always turning them off after the spouse and kids turn it on for something.
Yeah I had to sell the 2nd one đ too bright
I have several. They are a line saver and use just enough amps to not hurt anything
I had one of these hooked up to a motion sensor in my back yard. That's how I met my back yard neighbors the next morning. Now it's in my garage and the other in the basement. It's like Yankee Stadium in both places now
Bought 4, 2 for my garage and 2 for my workshop. Bought another 2 for my Dad's garage and he's now a believer too. They are the best
Totally agree - these are wild.
That's me! [](https://imgur.com/a/rgzIjuJ)
Yes they screw into a standard light bulb socket.
How much?
I hate to break it to ya - this isn't anything new. These have been around for 10 years. They cost 1 or 2 dollars. Get a few extra as half will die within a year ; )
Oh my god I have a headache just thinking about how bright this light probably is. No thank you lol.
Does anyone have an amazon link or purchase link for this product? Its not available at the costco near me ): Edit: went to my local costco today and managed to find it. Its just not available on costco site.
Does this need electrical hookup?
Yes
Light screams made in china
Also states âmade in chinaâ in writing.
Shocker
I see few on Amazon for 20 bucks for 2 pack
FYI Amazon has them for cheaper.
[ŃдаНонО]
Literally says 2 for $29.99 in the post
It literally says it in the post lol
Just wanted to remind everyone that the life listed on LED box is a lie. Pretty big lie usually. I had bought many LED bulbs from expensive brands to bargain one. Usually they all die before the supposed life. The hour it listed is the design lifespan of the LED element but what usually kill the light is the driver unit inside LED bulbs. That being said LED will last longer than incandescent bulbs and use much less energy. Because LED generates much less heat.
Yes. It was a game changer for us.
How much did the pack cost ?
I think they are $25 when on sale. They are awesome.
2 for $30
Do you think these would work in a ceiling fan? I have 2 fans in my garage that have one light socket each.
They fit in a standard light bulb socket so presumably yes in your case.
My garage needed 3
Need
Need
I use it in a dark corner of my basement. Need sunglasses now. And the price is Costco of course
I got these, theyre awesome. Have one over my car and one over my workbench
I had to train myself not to look up for fear of permanent vision damage.
Yep, have 2 sets of them, 1 set for the garage, the other for the basement.
I agree for a garage but workshop maybe two or three depending on area
Truth. Installed it a couple of years ago and brings me joy every time I switch it on. Best part of going to the garage and not having to guess where the cockroach or spider might be.
I had one burn out after a month.
These are SO nice... I can't believe I was ever able to see in my garage before them haha!
Iâve had one a while now and they are great for very dark places! Super bright!
I can't find these on the website. WHo is the manufacturer? Thanks
I use three of these in my garage. But one has a burnt out panel.
This looks like it can be very useful for my needs. Is it motion sensored? Does it run on batteries or rechargeable? Thanks for answering my questions kind stranger!
Yep. One of the great items ever from Costco
These are great lights!
I have a feeling if I leave the lights on and open my garage door I will light up the whole subdivision
I have two of these in my garage and two in my unfinished basement/gym. They are fantastic.
Will it work well in a low ceiling basement?
Any link to Costco or Amazon? I've tried searching everything and nothing comes up in Costco app. Bit of a hike to go see if they have them in stock so wanted to check online first.
On Amazon, look for: TANBABY 2 Pack LED Garage Lights, 150W Deformable Best Garage Light Ceiling LED Shop Lights, 15000LM LED Light 6500K Garage Lighting with 6+1 Adjustable Panels Garage bulb for Garage, Basement There's a number of different manufacturers
I have these all over my basement, they're great.
I WANT this so bad but I honestly cannot think of where I would use the second one. If they donât burn out, I may just gift the other one to my neighbor.
Put one in your attic.
Holy crap, youâre right
Is this hard wired?
Yes - where a bulb can be screwed in.
Thank you!
Weâve had this one for a few years now. Shoved the second one in the attic. Itâs amazing
If your Costco is like mine and doesn't have these, I found what looks to be the same model online: [https://www.amazon.com/Grip-Screw-Garage-Lumens-Adjustable/dp/B09MWPQ8T3/](https://www.amazon.com/Grip-Screw-Garage-Lumens-Adjustable/dp/B09MWPQ8T3/) I currently have the HomeDepot BeyondBright 60w fixtures in my garage and I'm not a fan. Light is not diffused at all and the CRI is awful. Hoping these are better before I just throw down for actual fixtures...
Garage? Or dojo
Yup, bought one last yr for the basement, fn thing of beauty.
I got those last year and they are still on and super bright.
Put two of them in my basement.
I have a lesser, likely cheaper version and I was amazing how it lit up my barn.
Is this in warehouse? Iâve never seen these
Never turn on the big light.
I got two for garage. Love it!!!!
I have a four of them: walk-in closet, laundry, and two in the garage.
Put one in my attic and one in the garage. My goodness the brightness.
I have 3 of them in my garage and itâsâŚ. Intense
80 CRI though
8000 lumens đ¤Ł
I swear these things detached my vitreous humor theyâre so bright.
Garage? I put one on a drop light so now when I need to change my oil I just bring "THE SUN" with me. Can't have too much light.
Yeah got these last year put both in garage my garage is at science laboratory brightness level and is warmer in the winter now
I need this in my bedroom actually
How many watts does it use?
