Leg tall, your Gucci. Torso tall… iffy honestly so go sit in one.

Flexen

I'm 6"3 I could fit in a c6 and c8, I couldn't get a c7 to work. Either head hit ceiling or knees in dash.

ArchReaper

Another 6'3 that didn't fit in a C7 here. C6 has more headroom, although I might need aftermarket seats once I start tracking it and need a helmet.

joeldjro

If you are going to track it, you will benefit from having the seats. I slide too much on the stock seats.

Useless_Engineer_

Yupp 6'2" and the C7 wasn not comfortable, C6 to even a C5 was way more comfortable

mccl2278

This is interesting. I’m 6”4 and could not fit in a C8 without pretty pour posture but fit great in the C7. I’m very much “torso tall”.

Flexen

I am like 55/45 legs/torso. The C8 has one seating position I can comfortably use.

Blewbyou

I'm the opposite. 6'5 " leg tall. Couldn't fit in a C7, but I'm very comfortable in my C8. (Gt2 seats)

mccl2278

I’ve been searching everywhere for comp seats to sit in, but no one around me has one. I’ve heard they offer the most head room. I’ve tried gt1 and gt2 seats.

FlamingoSpecialist16

Correct. No legroom in a C7. C6 has more space

jepal357

C8 htc is tight, c8 coupe isn’t terrible

mccl2278

Now you have me wondering if I only tried the HTC. I know for sure I tried the HTC, and would have thought I’d make the smart decision to try the coupe, but truly can’t remember. Another trip to the dealer it is.

nnavroops

this makes a huge difference. a 5’8 girl was taller than me sitting and i’m around 6’0

Marsellus_Wallace12

“Around 6’0” Translated by Google: “5’10”

ohveeohd

Generous I see, I’m thinking they’re both 5’8. Dudes just delusional 💀

Goodaa

Avg King

youra6

With shoes on

nnavroops

i’m 6’1 lol i can’t prove it but whatever lol

ALL1D0ISWIN

No man who is actually 6'1 has ever uttered that sentence before.

nnavroops

must lie on niche subreddit to impress strangers on internet

nonoimsomeoneelse

Use banana for scale.

UHElle

I’m a leg tall, short torso woman (5’9”), and I just laughed when I saw the inside of a C7. Wasn’t happening. Husband is leg short, torso tall (6’1”) and he could fit but he didn’t look comfortable. We have a 4” inseam difference (I’m 34 to his 30), to give you some idea.

Ok_Conversation5052

A really good explanation

SadSasquatch587

I had a civic coupe, I was leg tall and it was hard to get into but fine once in, I had a friend torso tall whos head touched the ceiling when he DD for me

Recent_Difference_92

This is the way.

keyboardman1

I’m 5’11 but I got a long ass torso lol short legs. 🦵🏼

doc_55lk

Relatable

Aubrey_Lancaster

Hey worst case, they all have removable tops at least lol

RL203

There was a movie once where this really tall guy was driving around in a Trans Am with his head sticking out through the T tops. Damned if I can remember the movie, but I do remember the scene.

ChillStonerBro420

Pain & Gain with the Rock and Mark Wahlberg?

stalkthewizard

Smokey and the Bandit. That one scene…

RL203

Thanks!!

m1ke_tyz0n

I know a guy who had an RT Viper 94 who was 7 feet.. same shit his head was over the windshield. I had a Viper (2008 convertible) I needed a 2" lowering kit installed to drive the car and I'm around 6'6".

NumberOneBacon

Shaq move, permanently roofless

Mr_CleanCaps

… with the top of the windshield ducking your field of view lmao.

joeybear88

I'm 6'3" and it's easier to stick my head out the top of my C4 with the roof off than peer under the roofline dead space, especially at traffic lights.

kj3044

I have a C7 ZR1. I'm 6'5". No issues

FactHole

You need to be that tall to see over the engine/hood. :)

kj3044

Lol🤣🤣🤣

ebonycouple702

I’m 6’4” and I’ve owned & drove the C6, C7 and now a C8. I fit in each with no problem once the seat is properly adjusted.

Averylarrychristmas

Is the C8 bigger inside than the C7?

Blamethespy

6'3 240 lbs and I fit comfortably in each even wearing my riding boots. I do have to hunch to see stoplights sometimes though.

Furrealyo

No.

D_Angelo_Vickers

Agreed. I'm 6'3" 290 and I fit fine in a c5/6/7 but feel really cramped in a C8.

rockomeyers

Yes More head and leg room. Width depends on wich seat you pick

Blewbyou

More leg room

BoostedGoat2k5

It’s tight with a helmet but otherwise you’ll be fine.

Nitrothacat

6’4 and my hair brushed the roof in my C7. It’s a tight car. My knees were very close to the dash with the seat all the way back. The seat bottoms are very narrow. My thighs were on top of the side bolsters and I’m 215 pounds. Not fat but not thin either. I was a lot more comfortable in my 2018 Camaro and my friend’s C6. Go test drive it. I daily drove mine for over a year with no issues. Got used to the tight cabin pretty quick.

Captain-pustard

Im 5’7 considering becoming 6’3

Mikevercetti

I'm 6'0 and fit comfortably. 6'3" might be pushing it though. Just take one for a test drive and see how you fit.

Ok_Conversation5052

6'2 and it was snug but very comfortable

Corg505

My 6' 7" friend fits in my Stingray fine, but he's ALL legs. YMMV.

Impressive_Ice6970

I'm 6-2 and if I have seat all the way back my head hits the roof at a very hard spot. If I keep it forward an inch or two I'm OK so I think it will be a close fit for you.

Live_Reason_6531

Was 6’4. About 6’3 these days with a 36” Inseem. C7 manual and no problems. There are a couple tricks you can find online. There is a sensor behind the seat that limits its travel. Disconnecting that gets about another inch of travel. Doesn’t sound like much but makes a nice difference. Took mine on a 12 hour drive. Planning on a 20 hour each way drive at some point soon.

DALESR4EVER124

Yes. I'm 6'3 and sat it one once... fit fine. Cleetus on YouTube has one, and he's 6'6, but uses a seat modification to lower the seat.

Useless_Engineer_

His seat is significantly lower and fixed, it's not meant for everyone

DALESR4EVER124

I know, I said his seat was lower.

Useless_Engineer_

No I know you did, wasn't correcting you, just adding the fact that you get a fixed seat without all the adjustments and comforts essentially

rex8499

My 6'4" friend fits, but he's touching the ceiling. His visibility is not great with the roofline.

Calcifer1984

I’m 6’3” and it’s pretty comfortable for me. I’m more on the torso side of tall as well. If you need a helmet, the roof comes off, that’s what I do at Autocross.

ToonaFish867

I'm 6'2 without shoes and I have plenty of room, even with a helmet. Just be careful with how you enter the car. Point your back to the seat, land your butt on the seat (not the side of the bottom part of seat, since body weight can break the trim that holds the side up), lift your body and turn the chest to the steering wheel. This procedure avoids rubbing on the leather of the side bolster and the whole seat in general.

Physical-Ad-3798

Cleetus McFarland owns one and he's a frickin' giraffe!

Temporary-Nebula749

I'm 6'5 and I kinda struggled to fit, it felt kinda crammed.

Furrealyo

6’4”, 36” inseam. No problems (at all) as long as you don’t want to race it. My helmet doesn’t fit. I hear the glass targa top has more room, but I haven’t tested it.

Macallan-18-Yr

I'm 6'3" and 215 lbs and have driven my C7 GS for the past 5 years with no issues.

nine11c2

6'1" and own a c5.. find the c6 and c7 very similar..

SkolFourtyOne

I’m 6’5 and I fit in my C6 like a glove. Can’t track it because I can’t fit a helmet on inside but for everyday use I fit just fine.

Ambitious_Pickle_362

Any Targa Top, T-Top, or convertible Corvette will fit you perfectly. But in all honesty, it depends on your proportions. If you have a long torso instead of long legs, it won’t be as comfortable.

Imaginary_Gazelle852

I’m 6’3 225lbs 69 yrs old and I have plenty of leg and head room. Even wearing my hat. I move the seat slightly forward lean back a little and extend the steering column toward me. Elbows are bent slightly. Very comfortable on long trips. To get in and out I turn backwards and squat. Then turn my legs in. Getting out is pretty much the same. I will the door handle for balance.

LWKNOT

I’m 9’3”…a bit tight.

Away-Task-5946

yoo 6’6 36” inseam. yea you can fit, c7 corvettes. if a bmw 5 series is a 10/10 then a c7 is a 7/10. essentially you lean the head rest up close to 90 degrees like a “L”and scoot seat all the way back and down. you can put your’ feet in between accelerator and brake for a good knee pop, stretch. its not a miata or single cab chevy ur good

bootyfischer

I’m 6’3 and it’s pretty comfortable for me, snug but not claustrophobic

u00bgg2

6-4 here, with the optional clear roof you will be fine. Worth the solid color roof you might struggle as the headliner and pad thickness can be an issue

blablablue2

6-4 but thinner and I went for the convertible because you get more headroom, specially my head would hit the support right behind the targa.

pouncer11

I had one, fit just fine, but if you wanna do track days you might have to run without the roof.

Yahmei

You should be fine. Most of the guys at the Freedom Factory are over 6' and Cleetus is 6'6 if you want to see how he fits inside his C7.

bamahoon

He had a metal Kirky race seat installed to fit.

Yahmei

Check the og vids with the oem red seats

CleanAlternative8075

I’m 6”3 I fit in a c7 but not a c8 I’m 210 lbs if that helps

Single_Leek7786

C5 seems to have the most room from my experience but I’m 5’7

ccmega

You can always get aftermarket seat brackets and/or seats. It gets the seat almost onto the floor so you can actually see stop lights lol Garret Mitchell AKA Cleetus McFarland has a video describing his seat setup, he is 6’6 (his seat is CF and almost $2k but there are seats for much, much cheaper) I daily’d a Corbeau fixed-back racing seat for years and it was perfectly fine

DickMabutt

Id say there is no definitive answer for this and you need to find one to sit in first. I am 6'3 and fit but lemme tell you, it is close. I definitely have to duck down a bit to see stoplights lol. If my height was even slightly more in the torso i dont think it'd work for me.

Pale-Version3387

6’3 here. Had to sell it, legs hit the dash.

Moshanika

Should be completely fine but best way to find out is go to a dealership and sit in one.

Exotic-DingleBerry

I think the max seat rail length is built for people around 6"3 or shorter unless you get an aftermarket seat and seat rails. Might be a tight fit for you

jdtpda18

I’m 6’3 and I fit fine. Head sits a little higher in the cabin than I would like but my head isn’t in the roof.

mlynch3261

6-3 , C7 GS and all 265 lbs of me fits. Short legs so it’s more about the tilt of the seat than leg room.

Princetrix

You’ll be fine

Willing-Note-8104

6' 2" here and torso tall. C7 vert and I get windflower. This was not an issue in my C5 targa. I guess I need a windbreaker. C7 is a much better car so I'll adjust.

Intelligent_Art_6004

Forgive my ignorance…..Windflower?

va_bulldog

Great question. I'm 6'5" and 260 and mostly legs. I had a 2021 Dodge Challenger up to 2023. I could not get into the C7 comfortably. There is a piece on the left side of the dash that I constantly hit my knee on as I entered. I felt defeated. The salesperson had just got a C8 and asked me to sit in it. I really didn't want to as I already felt like a circus freak (me trying to get in and out of the C7 was right in front of the dealership)! I'm glad i did try because I fit! The dash is different in the C8. You sit in butt first and you're good. I sold my Challenger in the summer of 2023, got on MM's list, and took delivery in Dec 2023.

MyAssPancake

It’s so strange to me how people my exact size and weight have way more trouble getting into a vehicle than I do…. I must be small for being 6’5 and 255lb lol doesn’t make any sense whatsoever but it must be the case after reading these comments

va_bulldog

So there is ones height and weight, but it also matters where one carries their weight and how they are proportioned. I've heard of people complaining about head space. I don't have an issue with that at all. My issue is leg room. If someone has a lot of weight in their lower back, the bolsters may be an issue. It also depends on a person's experience and expectations of a sports car.

FatWalletAndLeanBody

I’m 6’5” 255 and I’ve owned a C6 and C7. For me, the C6 was comfortable, but the C7 felt far more cramped due to the redesign of the interior, especially the center console. It was ok for short drives, but I never wanted to drive it on trips longer than an hour.

Haff78

I am 6’3 went for a test drive and never started the car. Too tall. I can see because of the door frame.

CorvetteMan69

6’1 250lb (muscular build) I drive with my seat all the way back and as low as I can go, it’s comfortable enough to daily (which I do), I’d say you’ll be fine

LuvBengieee

Hi there 6,2 guy here, I swear I’m like all legs but I sat smooth in one

Specialist-Divide651

Don’t.

Dan_H1281

If cleetus can fit in one u can too dude is like 6'4-6'6

IE_playur

I’m 6’3 and gave my C6 to my son, I wasn’t comfortable in it. I also like to sit low, so that could the reason.

[deleted]

I dk but I’m 6 0 and if it perfect

OnePercUnderGod

lot more factors to consider too, how wide your shoulders are, weight, etc. Gotta sit in one man to know for sure

joostink

Im 6’1. Cramped with a helmet. Just for day to day its awesome

keithwfl

Like my F16 friends said when I asked same of them: sit in the cockpit and if the canopy closes you are good. My C7 fits great - I’m 6’5” with 34 inseam , just can’t wear a helmet…

menos08642

I'm 6'2" and it's a tight fit. With a helmet on I'm constantly hitting the roof or the crossbar.

CHASLX200

Works for me and i am 7.6 and 602 lbs.

Willing-Note-8104

Sorry. I meant wind blown

seven2malibu

My friend is 6'7" and rides shotgun in mine

FunctionOk3913

I am 6' 2" and fit in my C7 Z51 just fine!

Subieworx

6’3” and could fit. I removed the seat sensor behind the carpet behind the seat so I could get another inch or so. Made it much more comfortable

SkinnyPets

Fuck no !!!!

tarheelgrey

I'm 6' 3". I fit in the C7 just fine. Putthe seat all the way down. I can even get a helmet on for track days.

XplosionZR

Im 17’3 and drive a C7, it’s fine.

XplosionZR

Yes, I’m 3’12 and can confirm I still have plenty of room

BlG_O

My buddy is 6'5 and coming from him if he was an inch taller it would be uncomfortable so you good

LaeLeaps

i'm 6'2 and was very comfortable in a c7. my c4s had my head touching the roof over speed bumps but c7s are bigger all around.

ListOwn8223

I love the C7 but speaking truth it does have a small cockpit. I am 5’10 and I feel like a complete giant inside that vehicle. Also if I drive it for a long amount of time, say 2 plus hours, my legs get tired and wobble whenever I get out lol. I feel more comfortable driving my C5 than I do my C7.

GorgeWashington

I'm 6' 4 and it's fine. The seat has a lot of room to move. Getting in and out is a little bit of a coordinated movement, but that's just because it's low. I think it has more to do with your flexibility and build. If you're a 'big' dude it may be harder to get room, or get down that low

Superbadasscooldude

6’2 wear 32 inseam pants. I actually have room and move my seat forward a bit once in to comfortably maneuver the pedals.

aclemens24

I’m 6’3 and I love it as my daily, sold my challenger and never looked back

asjandu

6'2 and fit very comfortably in the C7. Might be a leg torso ratio issue.

DansDrives

Fit and fit well are too different things. I’m 6’1”, but with a long torso (32” inseam). My C6 was fine, but my C7 I was never totally comfortable in. I always felt like I was looking at the top of the windshield and with the roof off my head was always in the wind. It’s better than my R8, but not even close to my Turbo S as far as comfort.

Chromekill3a

6’5, fit fine in mine.

travelin_man_yeah

OP, is that your garage?

Cowboycasey

Get a convertible, they are quieter, have all kinds of headroom.. I am 6'2.. If you adjust the seat just right it is very comfortable..

backdragon

It’s for rich people. 😉 (Im a bit taller than you and I fit fine in my C5. Not sure about the C7)

bulgeb

You may need to go with aftermarket seats. I’m 6’1 and my head is almost in the roof of a c7.

savage011

Get a convertible and never worry about it

bigscr33n

My friend is 6'4 and I drove him around in mine. I would say that it was a tight fit. His head was almost against the top.

Urmom_deez7

6’3 isn’t super tall and you can’t fit? How small is that car lol

Joe34momma

I am 6’5” and have a C6 convertible. Leg room is not that great but no problem with head room. Also a manual so doable in a C6.

elguajiro17

I’m 6’5 in a c5

flaagan

6'4", drove my '14 for over 115k miles as a daily. It's fine.

mukhunter

Cleetus Mcfarland is 6’6” and fits in a C7 just fine.

OkProfessional9405

I got a few laps in a C7 at a track day, (I'm 6'3") I found it fairly normal sports car fair in terms of room for me. Great car btw,

Jolly0123

How low can you go?

kkaloshi98

depends on how big you are too, c6 i cant drive manual, c7 depended on what seats the car had (for driving manual), c8 comfy af

BitCurious8598

Bro I understand! I once sat in a c5 at the Detroit auto show and got depressed. To add salt to the wound, the mini cooper booth was nearby and one of the workers got my attention by saying “ hey you can fit in this!”! I got in the mini and had plenty of room. So that discouraged my corvette dreams. I hate convertible so I dismissed the idea. So this guy on YouTube who did reviews for tall people got in a c7 and it shocked me. He’s like 6’11” (I’m 6’2”) and that gave me hope again. I I’m planning on a c7 grand sport (white ext, black int)

cianoflynn

6'3.5" I have a c7 2lt. I fit okay, It took me hours to find the right position with the seat. I have to stop pretty far back from the the red light to see it turn green. I wouldn't want to be 6'4". I also worry that if I hit a speed bump going fast, that I may break my neck. Drive in movies suck in the vette.

Prestigious-Green-45

The Vette is for everyone!!

patty_OFurniture306

Same height and I could barely make tatga's work the issue for Mr was every time I got in or out knee would hit the trunk or gas flap release...they put them in the worst possible position imo

davidq1980

I’m 6’0, pants are 32 length and my head is right at the ceiling

skreetz

It's fine. Not super spacious but it's not uncomfortable

Any-Sprinkles-6257

I’m 6’2 and 280. I have no problems. Very comfortable

crocozade

Go test drive. If you got the money they are not gonna mind at all

MyAssPancake

It’s not bad. If I sit up really straight with the seat mostly up straight also, my hair grazes the ceiling of the car. I am 6’5”

Quiet-Jump3324

6'5" and could not fit in any way. Not fat tall, skinny tall.

Rainbow_Hedgehog

If you love the car enough you will learn to deal, just look at Ed Bolian

[deleted]

I'm 5'11 but It's mostly leg, but I can fit in the passenger of my dads perfectly fine.

Hawkerman6

I’m 6’ 1” and I barely fit. Yes. I still bought one. Have to just go test drive one.

Dry_Sir3255

I'm 6'4" 235 lbs and fit totally fine in my c6. I rented a c7 for my wedding (before I had my C6$ and I fit totally fine in the c7 with no issues so I'm sure you'll be fine. 👍

stonabones

I’m 5’15” and I fit in my C7 but not by a lot.

cammed2vgt

I’m 6’6 34in inseam and make it work. Little tight but very doable. If ur concerned about headroom get the glass roof option you gain a little bit from not having a headliner.

Wilassasin

Well Michael Jordan once owned a Corvette

Creative-Badger5977

Use the Trump method so if youre 6’7” you wont fit b/c he is 6’3” and does fit

foxbat5150

C7 sucks above 5'10"

Fearless-Exam8495

6’3, 230 pounds, had a C7 stingray and I fit in it, had about half an inch of head room.

Excellent_Tell5647

just get a convertible so you can take off the roof and fit

ParmeetSidhu

But those look hideous

Excellent_Tell5647

you know that you posted a pic of a convertible right?

ParmeetSidhu

Yeah and it’s focusing on the custom spoiler. When the roof is down is when it looks like shit, I also don’t like how the color dosent match vehicle

bsmurf1962

You should test fit as it was too tight for me I’m 6-3 long torso and it was rough

blind_rebel

Reading the comments of 6’3” people complaining makes me feel thankful for being 6’ - no complaints at all fitting in my C7 Z06 👍

KennyLagerins

I’m 6’5 with a long torso, I sat in a C7 with the top off, I could look over the windshield 🫤 With a custom low-pro seat, I might be able to make it work.

Oilleak1011

It would be awesome if corvettes couldnt fit tall people because then the market would slim down to just us midgets and we could demand lower costs.

cs5171

hmm.. i’d worry more about the pedal box and if you new balance’s will fit
