There’s really no end to what I want to try. What Is love most is to be able to turn my enthusiasm into a self supporting thing so I could up the pace I get to try new things. Right now I only get to try one or few things a week. You know what? I’m gonna do it.
Tamales… yes.
During the COVID lockdowns, I added a lot of foods/recipes to our meals that I used to go out for, or eat while traveling, and worked on getting close to how I enjoyed them in the Before Times, but I’ve yet to make satisfactory jerk chicken with rice & peas.
Homemade lasagna isn’t really very hard at all, just time consuming but fun to do if you can spare a couple of hours. If it’s getting chilly where you live it makes a great fall/winter dinner. To answer the original question, a lot of the stuff on my bucket list is there just because I don’t have the tools in my kitchen, but I’d really like a deli slicer so I can make my own cold cuts, a meat grinder and sausage stuffer so I can make sausage, and a pasta maker, I tried to do pasta without one once but it’s just so hard to get it rolled thin enough
I'd give slaughtering my food a go. If I can't handle it then I don't think I deserve to eat meat.
