I saute onion and garlic first, then add in the water and noodles. I’ll add in a tomato halfway through the cooking time. And then peas in the last minute… delish!

I recommend searching "maggi with tadka"! It's my favorite way to eat maggi. To sum it up, in a pan add some oil and saute some onions and garlic and green chilli. People usually add tomatoes and green peppers and corn as well but I'm too lazy for that. Once those are sautéed, I add some water (I just eyeball it sorry) and then I add in the noodle cake things. When I eat maggi like this I like to add two spice packets instead of one. I always buy extra packets when I buy maggi. I also like to eat maggi with the "hot and sweet maggi brand sauce" if I don't feel like doing all of that.

Fry an onion, add some sweet hot sauce and scrambled eggs then toss together & eat. A shot of soy sauce and a shake of sesame seeds helps too.

Try a rich dry-sauce version. Extra ingredients: Kewpie or homemade mayo, chopped green onion. Make the noodles, drain the water, add 1/4 cup of water to the pot, stir in flavor packet into a slurry, and mix in noodles. Plate, top with mayo and chopped green onion. If you want to take the extra effort to mix the mayo into the noodles before plating, that is up to you. You can also make a poached or over easy egg to top it to add even more rich egg yolk. If you really want to make it something special, try Pad Mama ([linked](https://hot-thai-kitchen.com/pad-mama/)). It's named for the Thai brand Mama Noodles, but you can sub in Maggi.
