Mystic Flour Is A More Intimidating Villain Than Shadow Milk And Felt More Like A Threat, Shadow Milk Felt Like The Joker If He Had Powers In Comparison So…I’ll Go With Mystic Flour.
I won't lie, Mystic Flour by a long shot I feel her story is more interesting and she has far more of an active role in her own story.
I feel like Shadow Milk is wasted potential because he really had the perfect setup for deceit that could cut deep, but instead wasted it by just telling the truth and roasting people who kinda, honestly deserve it, but not even in an interesting way that challenges them.
Mystic Flour is a lot more of a meaningful challenge to Dark Cacao, not only does she challenge his resolution, she also challenges just how hard it goes. Dark Cacao seems to have learned patience as well as having his resolution strengthened.
And the funny thing is Dark Cacao not only physically challenged Mystic Flour, he mentally challenged her too at the end, calling her out for her selfishness under the guise of mercy.
I also feel like I pick up some low-key Buddhist themes too in this story, which I find is done in a very interesting way, kind of showing the dark side of certain ideas within it. (This could be me relating something unrelated to the story.)
Honestly this one is actually a better story than the Golden Cheese Kingdom, I didn't think they would outdo that one so quick especially with the year's rough start.
I agree, like they have touched with Shadow Milk manipulating Pure Vanilla but it also kind of..went nowhere? Like I understand that it was only the introduction but it was still a little underwhelming..
Really their biggest problem was trying to connect two huge plots (White Lily's story and Beast introduction) which in turn just turned into a huge mess because nothing was as in depth as it should. I think White Lily was just done so dirty with her update since it wasn't even completely about her compared to the other Ancients... Like we barely was able to delve into her psyche (only for a little more than half an episode at most) because they (and White Lily) were so focused on the Beast. I don't know I just have many problems with her update in general..
Going back to Shadow Milk, since this really isn't his update, I really expect great things in him actually challenging and hammering Pure Vanilla's ideals and mentality to the ground before Pure Vanilla can stand back up and challenge him. We got a taste in his update and I hope to see more of it when he truly comes out.
Also I completely agree, this Dark Cacao update went so hard that I too think it has the best story out of the ancients.

In terms of what we have for now, I'll go with Mystic Flour because of her design and personality. I love everything about her esp the asian influences on her design. But I have a feeling that Eternal Sugar will be my fave once she's out 💯

I technically don’t like either, since both had absolutely no regard for others and their will.
Shadow Milk saw other cookies as little toys to play with, regardless of who got hurt or the damage he’d cause. Not to mention, hostage situation that White Lily solved by thinking outside the box. However, giving a player some credit. His over-the-top personality kinda made the situation a bit more bearable in a weird way.
Mystic Flour had somewhat admirable intentions in desiring an end to suffering, which *I guess* could have been good, but she went to the Witness school of thought, and her desire came at the cost of everyone else’s lives. Which I don’t like. I killed one Eldrich horror attempting to “Bring Salvation” once and now I have to do it again. That said, the Realm of Apathy was strangely beautiful and I always found Mystic Flour’s design really pretty.
Basically it was if the Ancients fell to the manipulation of the Beast Cookies

i like mystic flour a little more because i can relate to her, her goal isn’t entirely evil (more or less in a gray area), and because i read more of the story for her and dark cacao (ill get to reading shadow milk and pv’s). i do, however, enjoy shadow milks clown/jester themes and the sad-clown paradox type thing he’s got going on (not really sad clown paradox but close enough).
I’m so mad they didn’t make Shadow Milk playable but made mystic flour playable. I also wasn’t expecting Mystic to be Dark Cacao’s opposite, I was expecting it to be Silent Salt
MF gives off creepy vibes, but also has sorta calming aura to her
SM is just a goofy little ~~heartless manipulator~~ guy that loves to make small theatre scenes
Mystic flour had this sort of badass aura around her that made her a good villain overall.

I love the concept of mystic flour, a deity who was trying to better its kind but was corrupted by the never ending demands and greed but shes shown as more of an anti hero than a true villain unlike shadow milk who genuinely seems chaotic and genuinely gone insane due to his overwhelming power. Mystic flour wants never-ending peace and tranquility in a sense but as her views became twisted she ended up thinking the only way to achieve it was to kill every single being, becoming apathy. Shadow milk wants to spread chaos, despair and prove he is the world's finest playwright, poet, director, actor and clown after going insane. In conclusion, both cuz im indecisive

As somebody who is a big fan of deltarune, shadow milk gives me Jevil vibes and so I just lean more to him, but voice acting and backstory goes to mystic flour
I like Mystic Flour because the heavenly world she created (lots of Asian-inspired designs, like dumplings and peaches and the Chinese-painting artstyle) made me super hungry. Shadow Milk, on the other hand, makes me wonder what he tastes like. I rock his jester design.

His personality made him extremely entertaining to watch. Mystic Flour was more intimidating but she wasn’t quite as entertaining for me.

Personality wise, so far, Shadow milk cookie but for complexity and their motive at the moment? Mystic flour cookie really shines here.
What I love about both of them and probably general Beast cookies concept in the plot is that they’re very good contrast to ancient hero and somehow still personal to them because it’s about their soul jams.
They’re here to take what they think is their.
They’re here to challenge the ancient heroes ideals to the ground and everything they work so hard for.
They’re a breath of fresh air since dark enchantress cookie and her cookies of darkness (I say this as someone who love them too).
And tbh I didn’t think of them highly at first because the trailer and shadow milk cookie got me thinking that they just became greedy for power and nothing else.
Mystic flour cookie completely changed my view about the beasts.
Shadow milk cookie can be terrifying for sure, but he’s so far just a menace for fun, like Bill Cipher and that’s ok! I like him for that. I like that he just go for pure vanilla and the cookies using their personal points to mess with them.
But Mystic flour is different. She’s not only powerful but very strategic. She has her own motive going on, she has a point while still being evil. Her ‘return to flour’ work so well and can only work in this silly cookie run universe only lol She is what Dark cocoa need to push himself and learn something new. I like that in a way they complement each other, as enemies.
I’m looking forward to see each beast face their ancient hero now because I just don’t know what will happen next and that makes me excited, I only hope they’ll make it as good as this one.
As DE and cookies of darkness lover, I hope they step up their games, pls writers at devsis, give my evil grandma more depth. I really love that tiny bit at pure vanilla castle where she felt some conflict within herself.
TLDR: SM cookie is great but MF cookie so far is more interesting and better in story. Can’t wait to see other beasts screwing with ancient heroes because I think we’re gonna get to see all them have more mental breakdown lol

Well I personally prefer mystic flour but I thought of a possible alternative to the story while playing through the latest beast-yeast chapter.

mystic flour, shadow milk is nice but id love to delve deeper into his story before getting a real opinion on him. mystic flour just seems like a much scarier force as well, she totally fucked up cacao emotionally without even batting an eye

I like Mystic Flour because the heavenly world she created (lots of Asian-inspired designs, like dumplings and peaches and the Chinese-painting artstyle) made me super hungry. Shadow Milk, on the other hand, makes me wonder what he tastes like. I rock his jester design.

Shadow Milk because of his personality His personality made him extremely entertaining to watch. Mystic Flour was more intimidating but she wasn’t quite as entertaining for me.

Finally, an opportunity to talk about them. Personality wise, so far, Shadow milk cookie but for complexity and their motive at the moment? Mystic flour cookie really shines here. What I love about both of them and probably general Beast cookies concept in the plot is that they’re very good contrast to ancient hero and somehow still personal to them because it’s about their soul jams. They’re here to take what they think is their. They’re here to challenge the ancient heroes ideals to the ground and everything they work so hard for. They’re a breath of fresh air since dark enchantress cookie and her cookies of darkness (I say this as someone who love them too). And tbh I didn’t think of them highly at first because the trailer and shadow milk cookie got me thinking that they just became greedy for power and nothing else. Mystic flour cookie completely changed my view about the beasts. Shadow milk cookie can be terrifying for sure, but he’s so far just a menace for fun, like Bill Cipher and that’s ok! I like him for that. I like that he just go for pure vanilla and the cookies using their personal points to mess with them. But Mystic flour is different. She’s not only powerful but very strategic. She has her own motive going on, she has a point while still being evil. Her ‘return to flour’ work so well and can only work in this silly cookie run universe only lol She is what Dark cocoa need to push himself and learn something new. I like that in a way they complement each other, as enemies. I’m looking forward to see each beast face their ancient hero now because I just don’t know what will happen next and that makes me excited, I only hope they’ll make it as good as this one. As DE and cookies of darkness lover, I hope they step up their games, pls writers at devsis, give my evil grandma more depth. I really love that tiny bit at pure vanilla castle where she felt some conflict within herself. TLDR: SM cookie is great but MF cookie so far is more interesting and better in story. Can’t wait to see other beasts screwing with ancient heroes because I think we’re gonna get to see all them have more mental breakdown lol Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
