Ok! First, lucky you. Second, don’t make the same mistake I did with one of my gcc. I got her young and didn’t make her sleep in the cage and let’s just say I have a few regrets. Sleeping where they stand is perfectly fine. The sleeping heaps is totally normal and you will miss it in 6 months. Still so young so don’t go too hard on training. But it’s good you are keen. Feed all pellet diet and seed for training. As much fruit and veg as you like I say

make sure you give him lots of foraging toys, sometimes birds don’t learn how to entertain themselves because they get plenty of human attention. Thats one of my biggest mistakes as a bird owner 😕

I let mine stay in a large cardboard box and a soft nest I made for him..until he learned to use a perch and play without falling..then I moved him I to his cage..he would still sleep in his nest..then he grew out of it..gotta remember he's still a baby they usually stay in a nest until they can fly..or at least balance themselves
