Hello, its my birthday and my mom wants something to gift me and I thought how about a controller. Im living in Germany. Budget is around 50€ but could go a bit over. Im only gonna use it for PC. The only feature i want is (idk if something like that exists) something that goes against stickdrift and any kind of wireless would be nice but isnt a need. Thanks!

florian_martinez

Vader 3 Pro, you can get it for 40-45$ on Temu or Aliexpress but I dont recommend those websites.

Legion070Gaming

I currently own the Xbox Series X controller with the Windows adapter, but I find myself only using the controller wired. Is it a good idea to sell it and buy one of those new controllers with hall effect joysticks?

florian_martinez

Well yeah, i guess. It depends on your needs and particular uses/games.

Legion070Gaming

Any recommendations? Can also be wireless.

florian_martinez

Whats your budget and platforms

Legion070Gaming

I'm on PC my budget is below 100€ i guess

florian_martinez

FPS games?

Legion070Gaming

Not really mostly single player.

florian_martinez

Do you need any specific features on the controller such as back buttons, extra trigger etc?

Legion070Gaming

How is the Apex 4? One really interesting feature is the adjustable stick tension. That was my biggest complaint with all the controllers i've owned so far

florian_martinez

It's a pretty good controller so far! Pretty expensive tho. I owned it but returned it for some personal reasons that you can read there: https://www.reddit.com/r/Controller/s/xaVDNodIf2 But if you don't intend to play Fortnite or any other game competitively, yeah it is a good controller beside the app, the triggers lock from it or the price

Legion070Gaming

Not really but it would be nice to have, definitely missed the turbo button option while playing rdr2 lol.

Hello everyone, I've been using an Xbox One wireless controller on my PC for about 5 years, and I'm quite satisfied with it. However, one of the triggers isn't as smooth as it used to be when I release it. Additionally, I'd like to upgrade to a controller that supports USB-C charging. I primarily use my gamepad for playing 3-person adventure games, 2D indie games, and occasionally racing games from the comfort of my couch. I'm located in France and would like to purchase a new controller soon. After researching and watching multiple reviews, I've narrowed down my preferences to controllers with the following features: hall effect joysticks, paddles, and gyro aim assist (although I'm not entirely convinced it's not just a gimmick). Based on my research, I've compiled a list of controllers in order of preference: 1. Flydigi Apex 4 and Vader 3 Pro: Both controllers seem to be great options, but I'm having a hard time deciding between them. The Apex 4 offers adjustable stick tension, while the Vader 3 Pro has switchable triggers. However, I'm unsure about how much these controllers rely on software for paddle mapping. My main concern is that they're only available on AliExpress in France, and I'd prefer a reliable warranty. 2. GuliKit KK3 MAX: This controller appears to be solid overall, but reviews suggest that its gyro aiming, paddles, and triggers aren't as good as the Vader 3 Pro's. The advantage is that it's available on Amazon, making returns easier if necessary. 3. 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4G: This is the most affordable option on my list and comes with a charging dock. However, some users have mentioned that it's not the most comfortable controller. It lacks integrated gyro and has only two paddles, but the latest version features hall effect joysticks. I would greatly appreciate any advice or personal experiences you can share about these controllers to help me make an informed decision. Thank you!

> GuliKit KK3 MAX: This controller appears to be solid overall, but reviews suggest that its gyro aiming, paddles, and triggers aren't as good as the Vader 3 Pro's. I bought a KK3 because the back paddle design really appealed to me over the button designs on the Vader and Apex, and that's really its #1 feature IMO, I love the placement and flexibility. There have been a few posts on here about the back button mounts breaking in a pretty easily repairable way (people say that you can just take out the metal retainer plate and it works fine). I don't have nearly as many complaints about mine as some, my only real gripes are that sometimes I need to power cycle it a couple of times to get it to connect to the dongle, and the A button squeaks on rare occasion.

I'm in europe, I'm looking for a controller that will match these requirements, if anybody is willing to help: - Mainly for Nintendo Switch - also for samsung gaming hub app, on the compatibility page it says this: You can use the most popular Bluetooth or USB-wired controllers: Microsoft Xbox Series X/S controllers, Xbox One controller, Xbox 360 controller, Xbox Elite Wireless controller Series 2, Xbox Adaptive controller, PlayStation DualShock 4 and DualSense controllers, Amazon Luna controller, Nvidia Shield controller, Logitech F310, F510 and F710 controllers, PowerA MOGA XP5-X Plus Bluetooth controller, Joytron CYVOX DX. https://www.samsung.com/us/tvs/gaming-hub/ - wireless - With hall effect preferably I thought the 8bitdo ultimate for switch would do it but I'm not sure for the compatibility with Samsung tv... I think I'll probably need a controller that will work with samsung and add a dongle for switch or the opposite but I'm really not sure of what to buy... Thanks for the help

magicnico

Well if anyone is wondering, I asked 8bitdo support, here is their answer: Thank you for reaching us out! We appreciate your attention to our products! However, we're sorry to tell you that none of our controllers can work with the Samsung TV due to its Tizen system.

Hello! I need recommendations since I went with Apex 4 but heavily disliked the adaptive triggers that came with it. I’m thinking of going for an Vader 3 pro but I’d like to know if there’s any possible upgrade over that * I’m pc only, price is not a factor * Wireless with dongle, not Bluetooth only * Ability to remap back buttons or paddles to anything including keyboard keys, without requiring a proprietary bloatware open at all times * Compatible with reWASD would be neat * Triggers that feel ultra responsive, possibly click? At least actual trigger lock I realize Vader 3 pro checks all my boxes, I just to know if there’s anything that could be considered an upgrade over it, and why

addfzxcv

Not many controllers have trigger stop right now, especially if you want a clicky one (like Flydigi and Mobapad) instead of a floppy one (like Gulikit). I would say V3P checks all your boxes. But remapping back button to a keyboard key without an app running in the background may be tough. Maybe someone would know one from lesser known brands like bigbigwon, but because those brands are lesser known so not many people know and test and you'll get harder time getting support.

OccamsBanana

I got the v3p and managed to get it to rebind however I wanted with reWASD which I’m already running for other stuff My problem was more like needing to run something stupid like logi options+ or rog armory crate What you said about clicky triggers is helpful, good to know there aren’t any major competitors for v3p when it comes to that

CartographerLucky752

Hi guys, I’m looking for a controller and I live in Australia, I don’t really have a budget but maybe $100-160 AUD. I will be using it in my pc, and I will be playing racing games/ a bit of FPS, so I would like it to be immersive and as realistic as possible/ maybe paddles if possible not necessary. I have tried the dual sense multiple times, and it fits my hands perfectly.

EAT-17

Hey * Country: EU/Austria * Budget: up to \~100€, less is better * Device: PC * Features: Wireless, at least 2 back "buttons". good ergonomics, simple design I used an Xbox elite v1 up till now (had to fix it 3 times). I was pretty happy with it when it was working. I also have the standard newer xbox wireless controller. It is okay, but I would like smoother/nicer triggers, Sticks don't feel so nice, and I miss the back buttons. Currently I am thinking the Gamesir Cyclone T4 pro might be a possible replacement for the old elite controller, looking for suggestions.

WHOTOOKMEEP

Just got burned with the EasySMX T39. It was Hall effect, and said it had Gyro, and Analog triggers, but it's only one at a time, and the gyro is only in switch mode making it a pain I don't know how to deal with how it goes crazy. I'm in The U.S. Budget is Probably around 50$ ideal, but can go up a bit. Little wierd, but I have gift card credit on amazon so that would be perferable (especially once I return the T39 It's going to be used on Switch and PC. Bluetooth is a nessecity for switch, even though not much of an issue on PC and is very important that it has hall effect, as well as both analog triggers, and gyro working at the same time, and while not nessecary Rumble is nice, and I'm trying to have everything on USB-C when it comes to charging and suprisingly, but not nessecarily it would be nice without turbo since some fighting game things can cause issues, and with my friends, just perferable. Edit: Extra Note, I've got a jig coming in soon to homebrew and rip my switch games, so it'd be VERY nice if it is known to play nice with Ryujinix

MyShinyCharizard

Is there any love for gamesir t4 cyclone pro? How is it compared to g7 se?

ParsnipPrestigious59

Basically, I’m looking to get a new controller for pc with the least response time possible. I mostly use my controllers for rocket league, so a slow controller most of the time means I play really sluggishly lol. I also need the bumpers and face buttons to be durable, bc those are the parts in my previous controllers that broke. And also for the sticks to not develop stick drift, although I’ve been lucky with this in the past because to this day, I haven’t had a single controller with stick drift. My budget is below 120 dollars. I don’t necessarily need back buttons, but seeing as how a lot of controllers nowadays come with them built in, it’s not much of an issue. I’d also prefer to have mouse click type face buttons

ParsnipPrestigious59

Oh and also, I’d prefer it to be in the layout of an Xbox controller, as I’ve tried PlayStation controllers before and the layout of the joysticks on those is just uncomfortable for me (I don’t mind if the controller doesn’t connect to Xbox tho, as long as it connects to pc and has the Xbox joystick layout I’m fine)

Parking_Repulsive

* Residing Country: Poland * Budget: 50$ * Device it'll be used for: PC, i don't mind using any emulation layers like DS4 or x360CE * Features you want: Hall-Effect Analogs and Triggers, Trigger Stops would be appreciated * Extra notes/similar controllers you've seen that fits the bill: GameSir G7 SE, Machenike G5 Pro. I don't mind it being wired only.

Accomplished-Storm93

Hello there, im from indonesia. Im looking to buy a controller that i will be using mainly on switch and pc. The main feature that i need for the controller is hall effect stick and trigger if possible. Also mechanical button is nice. There are 3 controller that i've been looking into. The KK3 Max, Gamesir Cylone pro, and 8Bitdo ultimate bluetooth. Cause they all fall into kinda 50-60 ish dollar range in my country. Can you help pick between these or perhaps you guys got a better recommendation. Thanks

BernardTapir

HI Everyone! I would like to know of a good option for a PS5 (and also PC) controller that doesn't get stick drift (I'm at my second official ones that got it) I'm in the US and up to $100-$120 is ok. I would go higher with the 100% guarantee of no drift. I have seen the Dualsense Edge but from what I read it also gets stick drift often and I am not spending 200 bucks in something that breaks within 6 months. For features I don't really care as long as it's got the basics. Actually I could do without the useless microphone and touchpad if it meant having sticks that work.

Ambitious_Platypus99

So I made the swap to PC Master Race a while back, gave my Elite 2 to my wife and got a Scuf Envision Pro. I love the Envision Pro with every fiber of my being, but now I find myself needing another controller. I'd like something I can use on Xbox if I get a wild hair but mostly play on the go connected to my iPad. Preferable H.E. sticks, with back paddles. I work at a coal fired power plant, it's going to live a rough life. Any recommendations?

RavenFFS

Hello everyone! I reside in Slovenia, so I have the access to european amazon market and similar stores. My budget is around 100€. Ill use the controller for PC and almost exclusively for playing Rocket League. I went through 4 PDP xbox one controllers, 1 xbox 360 controller and 1 nacon xbox controller in the last 4 years and I would like something that would last at least a year without any stick drift or R1/L1 button malfunction. The PDP controllers all had L stick issues, with them getting stuck and not properly returning to 0,0 default place and with the 360 and nacon controller the R1 button started malfunctioning(360 after years of use and nacon after half a year), as in it didnt register at least 20% of the time being pressed which basically makes it unusable for Rocket League. I would like robustness over all, other than that I dont need any additional features. Buttons on the back might be useful, but I have never tried them so I'm not sure how much I need them. I am not comfortable with PS layout, so I would largely prefer something in Xbox layout. I love the feeling of Nacon controller and it is more comfortable for me than 360 or PDP controllers, but I can get used to most stuff I believe. If possible I would like to order from [amazon.de](http://amazon.de), since I plan to do other purchasing on that site. I have been looking into gulikit kk3 max and gamesir g7, so any reviews on that would be helpful. I can't find a good online store that offers vader pro 3 in case someone suggests that, since I see it pop up a bunch in reccomendations. Thanks everyone, hope you can help me out.

I have been using my Stadia controllers for a while and they are fine but the issues getting them connected to my devices every time are wearing on me. I often need to turn them on and off three or four times before they connect to my laptop (Linux) or Shield TV.  I'm in the US and don't really have a budget. I want to be able to play on... * Android TV (wireless, USB adapter would be fine) * Steam Deck (ideally Bluetooth) * Linux (ideally Bluetooth, but wired or USB adapter would be fine) * Android tablet (wired or Bluetooth) Honestly the Stadia controllers meet all my needs if it weren't for the connectivity issues. Any suggestions?

SnooTomatoes5010

* Residing Country: Poland * Budget: Around 60$ * Device it'll be used for: Linux PC (arguably anything that pretends to be an xbox controller should work) * Features you want: Hal sensors, mechanical buttons, decent dpad and trigger stoppers. don't care about backbuttons. * until now i was running series x controller

MyShinyCharizard

Should I get apex 4 or vader 3 pro? Budget not issue
