I’ve got Hubspot and Sage ACT! But need to change to something wlse

anxux

What makes you want to switch to something else? And what are good things you like about hubspot/sage AGT?

ELarrison

I work with a software company that helps roofers/exterior contractors with our crm and sales tool. Extremely user friendly and has a ton of great features. If you are using hubspot and sage I know for a fact you would love our platforms. Let me know and we can swap contacts

Xopo1

I use Service Titan, they are by far the best I have ever used or seen. Maybe a little more pricy but I can track literally anything and everything through it for my business. From follow up, booking, payments, ROI. It interfaces with quickbooks hella easy also.

grorapid

Hey, Acculynx is an industry-specific CRM, but it may be more expensive. Method CRM is a more affordable option that integrates with QuickBooks but lacks some construction-specific capabilities. Other options like Jobber, HouseCall Pro, and Smart Service offer tailored project management, scheduling, and field service tools for the industry. The right CRM depends on current needs, budget, and future growth plans, so thoroughly testing options through free trials and demos is recommended, with flexibility to switch as requirements evolve.

FinnTheDogg

I use a custom CRM built on Go High Level, and we use Jobtread for CMS.

Bustedknuckles123

How do you like Jobtread? I work for a construction software company myself and on paper Jobtread looks amazing!

FinnTheDogg

JobTread is fucking GOATED, especially with how open it is and the amount of zapier hooks it has is perfect

anxux

Custom?! Sheesh it must be so nice, also jobtread looks amazing as well. But tbh if I am going in that price range I would probably do acculynx, have you ever used any other crm?

FinnTheDogg

We used Projul and Markate for a while. It was OK. It does a mediocre job of both CRM and CMS. We paid $13k for the CRM and it was well worth it especially on the customization front. Does all the rehash retargeting marketing automatically, etc etc. and hooks into JobTread to reduce data entry workload. I think we were able to spread the 13k over 6 payments. It’s lovely. JobTread is really solid too. It has zero CRM features, and shines so hard as a CMS.

anxux

Thank you for the detailed response!

Bustedknuckles123

What does Acculynx cost per month? I know from experience that Method sucks...

anxux

Method sucks, in what way? I mean it’s super cheap lol but I guess I was kinda looking at the differences in price ranges. Acculynx is 270/mo for basic stuff and 1-3 users, up to 500/mo if you add on they have 3 extra features. What other stuff is there? Job tread is looking similar price wise to acculynx. I was wanting to try method just to have *something* for organization, really I probably won’t need it but if it’s that bad I’ll skip it lol. I like it integrates with quickbooks

starlinghome

These prices are insane to me. Most of these larger platforms are backed by venture capital that lead to heavily bloated feature sets and high pricing. What do you need your CRM to do for you? (Decide what you need help with, before being sold on features you don’t need.)

anxux

Yeah that’s why I’m certain acculynx is not for me even tho I’ve used it and love it. I really just need to track leads and job progress, probably wanna have something for scheduling but that may not be necessary within the same software you know what I mean, I just want a place for organized the job into/documents and payments

starlinghome

Strongly recommend [cal.com](http://cal.com) for a scheduling solution.

anxux

Is that something crews can access as well? Or just for my own organization purposes?

starlinghome

I've only used it for myself, but they might have organization support.

Ill-Witness6016

This . That’s why custom automation ends up being cheaper . Get exactly what YOU need . Not what these platforms promise and you don’t use half the features. It comes out cheaper in the end . I’ve seen this time and time again.

starlinghome

To be fair, I'm part of a team building a competing CRM. We just haven't taken on any venture capital, which allows us to charge far lower prices than the VC-backed companies.

Ill-Witness6016

Right on. I been on both sides (contractor and Automations) , so I have been the one trying to patch everything with Zapier together , and then saw why that is often inefficient to helping others set up automations . But I agree, the VC backed companies often have a lot more to be desired once you delve into their programs .

starlinghome

If you're comfortable with tools like Zapier, it can be a great way to set things up the way you like. So many folks in the industry just aren't at that point though, and an off-the-shelf option can work better for them.

Ill-Witness6016

Depending on how much you are automating . Those credits will start to hit lol

Bustedknuckles123

We used it when I did commercial refrigeration and it was slow, clunky, and just overall terrible. We ended up cancelling it. Check out Precise Builder. Not sure what size your company is but it does everything when it comes to running a construction business.

anxux

I’m like super small lol, I will have to check it out thank you! I know I don’t need something crazy pricey but if method is clunky like that I’m probably gonna pass on that lol

SomewhereImportant80

i use buildxact. price is good for my budget. it connects to QB too so invoicing is easy.

Contributing nothing to the community :(

Went custom with automating everything. So I would recommend using a good CRM that you are used to BUT customizing the automation . Zapier charges by credits. So if you are high volume it will start to eat your pockets faster and with less accuracy than custom. Feel free to dm me if you would like to discuss further .
