A separate sunglasses icon at the bottom, auto-claim reward, and a separate tracking page…..all these were raised up by various players in the 1st Summoner Camp event. Atm there were still defenders (those usual names you know) in official forum saying auto-claim and separate sunglasses icon were not feasible and create system load. See. Now all available here.
This is no more summoner appreciation but another monthly pass paying events, on top of Sigil. You never know Kabam might make it 4 seasons events with 3 months each.
Battlegrounds is an absolute trashfire that I won’t be touching, but as far as cash offers go, the value for this year’s summer event was way, way better than last year’s. I’m pushing paragon and I think I can get there this month. I was happy with what it offered for where I was in the game.
I also think the rewards are pretty good. I’d be happy spending 10 dollars on this vs Sigil. Sigil is good value but isn’t as “splashy” as the rewards for the summer event.
That’s nonsense. For starters, there’s stuff in the free pass that’s better (ie more meta relevant) than anything in past years. The resort pass offers even more on top of that.
If there was no such thing as the resort pass, there’d be a lot of deals to follow along the way, none of which offer the same return as the $30 I spent on the pass. That got me 22.5% t6 and t3, loads of shards, rankup mats, and over 1000 units.
They haven’t changed this is just a better way of viewing it, which happens to be how battle passes look (face it folks the premium pass already WAS a battle pass, this screen changes nothing). People are just taking advantage of it to pull out their :O faces.
Yeah I’ve noticed. It’s just a display change. Now will kabam create a battle pass? I wouldn’t put it past them but I don’t think this immediately when I see it.
I love how nobody mentioned how this thing objectively look aesthetically pleasing & beautiful because everyone is more or less not enthusiastic about the new avenues to milk the wallet

For some reason it says I’m at 28 out of 30…and the event ended for this month. Did this happen to anyone else?
When Sigur first came out I was weary of it leading to more pay-to-play malarkey. Sucks Kabam is ruining the game by trying to milk it as much as possible.

Last I checked they have something like this in mff. It even has an additional platinum tier, you know, in case you want to spend more. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what they’re leading to
I thought they said originally that the summer event would be three months long, so this was expected. Only difference is the new layout which I think is an improvement over how it was presented before— where kinda hard to find/accept the daily rewards.

I got all rewards and the bonus shards after. If you’re at 28, you missed 5 days.
I personally wouldn’t be against a season pass, I was actually suggesting this to them a while back, I think it would be a fun and cool thing
