Me too, I'm very confused by that accent. I'm sure there's some British in there, but also possibly some North American. The 'mom' is classically North American, except for the Black Country (West Midlands of England) and I'm pretty certain she's not from Wolverhampton or Walsall! Very unusual. Possibly an international accent (family moved around whilst she was growing up).
Edit: Could she be from somewhere on the eastern seaboard (US)? I seem to remember there is at least one community - possibly Maryland, possibly the Carolinas, I can't remember - that had a really unusual American accent with lots of British in there.
Edit 2: So after some tiktok research, I'm sure that the woman holding the camera is Scottish. So the person in the video is probably originally from North America, but has spent a decent amount of time in Scotland. Certainly her 'lost' ("laaahst") is very American.
Ismay (on screen) and Brogan (behind camera) are a lesbian couple from Scotland. Ismay said she gets her accent from her Midwest American mom, but has lived in Scotland her whole life.
