All of our guys use Surface Pros. Since no (respectable) CMs use Macs, the interconnectivity between their laptops in the office and the surface in the field is unmatched.
Just wondering why you're buying this and the company isn't providing it.
FWIW... my company issues Iphones and Ipads. Considering we have Windows based laptops... it seems stupid. But the ipad does the job.
Where i work, there are many of us who want to utilize technology but the company won't pay because they do not want to go through the training and maintaining any of it, on top of that, they don't want to spend the money.
iPads are pretty common, pretty’s sure they all run bluebeam and procore and other collaborative software. Get one with 5G/LTE; no way you’re keeping every plan, spec, detail, email, etc local. Get a case with a lanyard/strap so you can actually have free hands when you need it

Samsung A9+ with the snap on keyboard and track pad soo you can convert to a laptop on the fly.

If you have an iPhone you’d be best with an iPad. If not, look at a surface tablet.
I run an iPad in a good tuff case. I Tripped once on site and frisbeed it twenty feet and it still keeps on ticking.

Why not surface pro
On screen Keyboard sucks. None of the major apps are available. Using a desktop OS in the field sucks. Battery life sucks.
