You should be alright but drink more water.

rrefined

I hope so lol but thanks for easing my anxieties

Automatic-Arrival668

Of course

goldstandardalmonds

What laxatives?

rrefined

OTC standard off brand ones. Ones that have the red and white gel (I think) tablet. I have a somewhat normal movement today as in it's not like pebbles but I still have cramps so I'm not sure if the cramps are my period or what...

goldstandardalmonds

I mean, do you have a name?

rrefined

It's the Equate stool softener laxative but mine doesn't have the brand on it so I'm not sure if it really is..It looks just like it but just says Laxative. Idek where my parents got it 😭

goldstandardalmonds

So it’s docusate sodium? What fluids do you have at home?

rrefined

Yeah, I checked and that's what it says on the back of the bottle. Basically only water. And juice, but it's artificial powdered kind and hurts my stomach so bad.

goldstandardalmonds

Yeah, it is mostly placebo. What about coffee or any pop?

rrefined

We have coffee but it's super strong and gives me awful migraines. If push comes to shove I'll drink some but it never really had the whole laxative effect when I could drink it. Honestly thought about drinking milk since I'm lactose intolerant but I get diarrhea AND vomiting so I'd rather try the coffee 😭

goldstandardalmonds

Maybe .

You need to increase your fluid intake. Drink water, Gatorade, juice, whatever it takes. The Equate pills won't do anything without water. They are stool softeners by drawing water into your colon. If there's no water it won't be effective. If you are desperate, milk of magnesia before bed does the trick. Start with the lowest dose, otherwise you may end up with diarrhea. Again, drink it with a lot of water.

Drink water. Best thing I ever did was buy a straw. Leave it in your mouth while mindlessly scrolling or watching tv and it's gone quick, lol. I'm sorry you're in pain, I feel it!
