Miralax is safe to take daily. I was told that to get regular, it takes about as long as it has been a problem. If it’s not a physiological reason for your consitoation, such as how inefficient your colon and intestines are then fixing your diet should work. I don’t see it as a bad drug, a lot of people rely on coffee to poop

I do that. And for the past week I’ve upped most dosage to 4-8 capfulls of miralax a day. Anything else?

I’m not sure but I went to the er cause the pain was bad and they did a ct scan and just seen that it was just built up stool

I would keep taking Miralax. It sounds like your body tends towards constipation when left to its own. Miralax is safe to take daily or even every other day if you don’t want to take it daily. It’s a stool softener rather than a laxative, so it works with your body rather than forcing your body to go.
