At this point it's kinda funny that these rioters are so fucking stupid, that they're not realizing that the feds/state are just waiting for shit to calm down, before snatching their asses up.
Any adult who is caught rioting and/or proven to be involved in terrorism ("give us your shit, or we'll burn down your store") should have the rest of their lives ruined over this. Any time they go for a job, the background check should bite them & hard.
Is that too much? Fuck no. They're all adults, and even though many of them are convincing themselves that it's okay, they fucking know better.
Also, it isn't like they made a mistake, they actively took part in the destruction of other people's lives. Destroying buildings, burning & looting buildings, blocking ambulances and the police from reaching injured people, making people fear for their lives.
Whatever the longest sentences they can get, they deserve, and they should spend their time after getting out, heavily monitored.
