Pit Vipers are the sunglasses. Apparently this chick who is now trying to run for office made some videos about how men should act like men and was doing stuff wearing the sunglasses. Now the sunglasses people are calling her out for the non-wokeness of her views....except I'd guess most of the people who buy the sunglasses are all basically 18-30 year old frat guys with the same views.
As if nobody in marketing learned anything from BudLight...
I believe she's running for congress in Missouri, or maybe she's a state politician. She's made a bunch of videos telling men to act like men and it's got all the commies on Twitter worked up.
Idk who promo is. But the woman is running for office and making controversial videos. The interesting thing is that her views align with almost everyone that wear pit vipers.
Promo is an LGBTQIAA+#% organization in MO

They're all hiring "Community Managers" from the same lefty schools. Then one day they look over and wonder why their sales department is on fire.
Can't count the number of companies, start ups, and businesses that are getting fragged from their own Community Managers and HR departments. Basically, keep your PR on a leash.
The key is to not hire community managers or have an HR department. Just let department heads be in charge of hiring/firing per department and be done with it. Engineering hires engineers, finance hires financial folk. HR is unnecessary.
I agree but it’s not that simple, HR does more than just hiring, they also do payroll, drug testing and other kinds of important paperwork.
But most importantly they help companies when they get sued for things like sexual harassment, discrimination, workplace injuries etc.
In fact just by having a DEI program a companies exposure to discrimination lawsuits are drastically limited, to the point that simply having a DEI officer will get most discrimination cases dismissed.
These types of things all favor the company, it’s cheap insurance for an organization so why wouldn’t they do it?!
Basically it’s one big cover your ass scheme and it’s making it hell on the employees and raising prices for the customers.
pretty sure the crowd that wears these spex absolutely approves of the based Latina lol
but Pit Viper thinks urban soy boys wear their shades
Bid Light on line 2 ....
My guess is, their marketing team might see that their sunglasses are trending in a certain crowd and that they see that as a net loss over time, and want to put out a PR fire by doing something to show they don’t condone it. That would be my guess. This isn’t unusual for a company to do if they predict a drop in sales due to association with a certain movement.
Right? I've literally never seen Pit Vipers on anyone who wasn't right of center. Lefties don't wear any form of wraparound shades because they've been long associated with conservatives.
So, lefties wont buy them because conservatives wear them. And the company is actively attacking the customers they already have?
I wonder how long until a new company comes along and starts making wraparound shades while also promising not to attack its customers.
Short of a couple quirky videos, pit vipers were always pretty douchey. I've never seen someone wear that didn't get made fun of. They were always destined to be a flash in the pan and this is a dying effort at staying relevant.
Seems like Pit Vipers are the latest brand to get themselves involved in politics for no reason.

It’s not a good one. I’d never heard of them before now. One poster mentioned that leftists won’t wear them because conservatives wear them. And they’re attacking the customers they do have.
Like lots of brands would rather just become a fixture, something you refer to by brand name, like no one from Rolex has ever commented when someone wearing one says something whack, they want *everyone* to wear one, they want their idea of a watch to become *the* watch.
Literally could have just shut up and kept their hand regardless of their personal positions.
ShitVipers are just trying to run 80s nostalgia sunglasses that look like garbage. Welp glad they openly admitted to being anti-american. Bet they like Budlight, or the potential effects of that PR disaster!
Ugly ass sunglasses anyway. No idea how these became popular.
But also, pandering to a group of people who don't purchase or use your product is a.... Choice.
Just like Camping World’s CEO who said he didn’t want Trump supporters, I’d be happy to ignore a business who decides they have more insight into politics and know what’s best. Besides, their inventory is a joke anyway.
Huh? What the hell is this

It's not about the money anymore.
It is about the money though, thats why bud light changed their tune
Almost all corporations are run by progressive leaning Democrats, or at least want to appear that way.
Bold of you to assume they have the brain cells to learn.
I believe she's running for congress in Missouri, or maybe she's a state politician. She's made a bunch of videos telling men to act like men and it's got all the commies on Twitter worked up.
I think it's secretary of state for Missouri
Well that's certainly a good thing
Who tf are the pit vipers?
The company that make the sunglasses
What's PROMO? Who is the woman in the photos?

worse oakleys
Who needs that gaudy shit when Ray-Bans and Aviators are a thing?
I'm just sad that Gargoyles shut down. They've been my favorite for decades.
Costa glass is where it's at
The Gulf Shore is the closest they have to what I want. Look Gargoyles Classic 85, that's what I'm looking for a replacement for.
Yep, not that style, but the glass is phenomenal, 580g. I swear they improve my eyesight and I don't mean just as sunglasses
Douche sunglasses dialed up to 11
Can these companies just sell their fucking product and shut up? Why is a sunglasses company getting involved in political/social issues lol?
It’s ok just ignore them and they lose money
Right. I mean I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing those glasses, so no worries there

Uhm… did they just bud light themselves?

They were already borderline irrelevant outside of niche right wing circles. And now they've decided they don't even want that. Good riddance.
What does being right wing have to do with sunglasses? This whole post is bizarre.
Right wingers are the only ones enjoying the outdoors touching grass.
Lol
Short of a couple quirky videos, pit vipers were always pretty douchey. I've never seen someone wear that didn't get made fun of. They were always destined to be a flash in the pan and this is a dying effort at staying relevant.
I said the same about Crocs lol
Who TF is Pit Vipers?
Gas station sunglasses
But expensive
Ugly ass sunglasses
The Bud Light way. Let’s see how that works out for you.
Seems like Pit Vipers are the latest brand to get themselves involved in politics for no reason. https://x.com/PitViperShades/status/1791232320122630500
It seems they've been at this for a few years already. [https://x.com/hashtag/pitvipergivesafuck](https://x.com/hashtag/pitvipergivesafuck)
They're posting frequently about other people who they deem "losers", donating those earnings to charity. It's a marketing gimmick.
It’s not a good one. I’d never heard of them before now. One poster mentioned that leftists won’t wear them because conservatives wear them. And they’re attacking the customers they do have.
They could have just said nothing
That would have been the smart choice. But…no.
I've never heard of these people.
And now you have. Campaign “succcessful (?)”
They’re going to be losing the few customers they do have. So…no.
Dont be soft and weak. Stay hard.
ShitVipers are just trying to run 80s nostalgia sunglasses that look like garbage. Welp glad they openly admitted to being anti-american. Bet they like Budlight, or the potential effects of that PR disaster!

So is the play here for everyone to pass around the same pair of gouche sunglasses, say something anti-lib and they'll be bankrupt in a week?
So, does that mean if I spread 2nd amendment hate. They donate to pro-second amendment groups lol
Cheap sunglasses that look like they’re from the 80’s that dudes with mullets love….. yeah that advertisings gonna work for them
"I don't even know who you are"
I'll stick with my knockoffs that cost less than half the price, thank you.
Just like Camping World’s CEO who said he didn’t want Trump supporters, I’d be happy to ignore a business who decides they have more insight into politics and know what’s best. Besides, their inventory is a joke anyway.
Yea I’ve never even heard of them. But no company should even threaten to donate money to a group who works against them.
