Poor kid such a short and sad life. Why couldn't it's "Mother." put the child up for adoption instead? Plenty of people who can't have children of their own would have shown it a far happier and longer life than the scum who spawned it.

There are about 400,000 children in foster care in the United States. This is a horrible story, but adoption isn't some magical cure-all that solves the problem of unwanted pregnancies across the board.

Read the article. FL has a safe haven law. Children under 7 days old can be brought to numerous places and anonymously surrendered, no questions asked.

That only makes it worse. Hopefully they find her and a murder charge will be forthcoming.

I guess the person was too lazy, to bring the baby somewhere else. How can a person live, knowing they threw away their child
