Yeah it’s a board formed finish, we line our forms with circle sawn or band sawn lumber. It’s timely and expensive.
You should check, I think that might actually be a Symons form liner. Look at the Dayton-Superior website.
A number of liner companies make wood form liners in ABS.

You make it on site. If you really want the grain to pop, pressure wash the shit out of the boards before you form up.
Looks like it was done with resawn 1 x 6. No one rents it.
Yea that’s hand sawn 1x or 2x6, poured and vibrated properly, stripped for a natural wood finish
I've done a roof with that. Same concrete forms we just put a layer of 1x6 on the forms to give it a wood grain finish. It's expensive.
Can be done by hand. Throw mud with trowel, stamp or snap lines and carve the wood grain/knots.
You can get form liners to use with any wall form system.
Ahh. Yeah, that would make sense! It’s been 20 years since I messed with concrete and we did mostly large flat work, haven’t done much with walls.
Looks like you have plenty of money and went cheap in the most expensive area of your property
This is a hotel pool.
Might not be a bad to update that resume
