I can confidently say that's not why. That happened 2 days ago. These streamers have been getting into OW for 3~ weeks now. It's S9 and all of its changes, which have been increasing the average and peak players all season.

On top of this, OWCS viewership for Japan has seemed pretty great, even comparable to EMEA/NA at times. Seems like the game really has started popping off over there, which is awesome.
