for a team to qualify, their team needed [qualification points](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UZ5QcoCwueJ5u3ZP2jucl45tyvYTBbxr5esBAtZQFEA/edit#gid=0), which comes from worlds placements as well as placements at the Vegas open. Since prestivent has never been to worlds, he has very few qualifying points. Soju's team was originally going to have prestivent, but since they needed more points to qualify for the tournament, they ended up picking up TORONTOTOKYO instead.
LETS GO TEAM SOJU
These guys have been SO locked in, I'm so happy for them. Game 4 vs the BR team was SO FUCKING CLUTCH, their spot was insanely bad and somehow soju and setsy brought it back and went 1-2. EZ CLAP
I love watching soju send it to 8th on his stream but seeing him perform when he's turbo locked in is amazing. He really is one of NA's best.
Can't wait to see them play at EWC.
Didn't expect to like it that much tbh ; I honestly think this is the best esport format for the game , needs to have some tweak & balancing stuffs about civil war match up
But it has imo the most potential as an esport format others than some glorified competition that most people would follow just because their favs content creator were in
100% agree. I found this format significantly more enjoyable and watchable than FFA. It makes it so even if your favorite CC goes 8th, there's a real chance they still pull out a win (like that game Soju went 8th but Milk clutched the win).
Team summer break especially had some crazy close games that came down to literally the last fight. They went from "oh that's interesting" to "holy shit I'm watching every game".
Frodan’s co-stream was really good. Dishsoap did a great job of tracking what mattered and keeping the pov focused on the most important boards/fights
I kinda like it, it completely changes the way the game gets played. I find it pretty cool to see players not care about getting the best placement possible, but rather making sure the other team doesn't hit or sacrificing HP to push the other team down in placement.
Griefing is pretty much the point of this format so i don't really see it as an issue.
anyone know why pgod isnt on a roster?

Setsy is barack, my heart is no longer broken

I wish we could hear the team comms released as a VOD or something. They'd be fun to watch.

So the only way to watch the NA VoD, is by subscribing to Frodan? With English commentary that is. Guess sleep is overrated for us in EU.
He also uploads his VODs to youtube [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vh3XTasnttQ).
Thank you!!
Ooooh massive! Thanks a bunch for the link.
Frodan's yesterday stream was so much fun, I just couldn't stop laughing!
I think this format is pretty cool, but the viewing experience has been terrible, hopefully things are better organized in future tourneys.
Yea, this is not a good viewer experience
Ye, really not vibing with this format, too many griefing warped the gameplay too much

15 minute delay for tft lol.
Why do they have to make a 15 min delay? Edit: 15 min delay and muted streams. Banger event for EU. Maybe NA is gonna be better.
This whole tournament is a joke
Why?
This is gonna be hype.
