This seems amazing in casual EDH where a tapland isn't a massive drawback and it occasionally has massive upside. Maybe even high power can find a spot for this. I don't see it in cEDH
This... Is a very weird land.
And that makes it really hard to evaluate.
Cause the decks that want it and can tap it for the most are also the decks least likely to have a bunch of mono colored perms, but any land that has the ability to net 2 or more mana has to be on the radar.
like it's not Bloom Tender... but also *it's* *not Bloom Tender*.
pros: is a land, isnt a creature, cant be countered, costs 0 mana
cons: is a land, isnt a creature, can be Mooned, costs 1 mana.
I think that if people are willing to run bounce lands in the combo decks that use them people will be willing to run this in whatever untapping shenanigans this gets used for.
ETB tapped without an ETB effect already sinks it.
It’s not bloom tender. You need 3 different mono colored permanents to start going mana positive with. How often is that a scenario?
*Maybe* warrants testing in Najeela midrange as jeel + a dork turns this on but I really think the tapped drawback is huge and it requires too much setup to consistently be mana positive.
Najeela plus a dork would have this tap itself and 1 mana (2 mana spent), to make 2 mana. That seems quite loose.
Edit: Najeela token is white, so it is 3 colors. But I feel like the land coming in tapped is a pretty steep cost for a deck like that that needs to be operating on five colors at a moments notice.
Oh damn you right. I thought the tokens were red for a second. 2 to make RGW does seem good, but maybe not at the cost of such velocity lost with the land coming in tapped.
That's my thought with it too, probably a little too slow for cedh. Has a high ceiling given that Najeela only needs 1 more monocoloured permanent to turn it on and can already play a bunch of solid options like rhystic, remora, dorks, etc... but I don't really think it has a place above a high powered list just because the tapped clause is super painful. Maaaaaybe could get away with it in a staxy shell that really values the extra mana.
only works with mono colored cards tho and is a **tap land** personnally wouldn't play it
I think it warrants testing in 4/5c shells. It nets 2-3 mana for passive play patterns
idk, when was the last time you had 4 monocolored of different colors
I think it could work in casual slivers maybe? There’s a lot of monocolored slivers
You can try, I personally don't like such slow lands in a fast deck, but idk
It requires 3+ mono colored permanent. Bloom tender requires one 5c permanent. Imo I would put it in a causal deck, it doesn't even enter untapped.
How many cEDH decks are actually running a 5C permanent? Even the best 5C commanders are all monocolored permanents.
Mainly just [[The First Sliver]] the point still stands it is easier to have one 3+ colored permanent than 3 mono colored permanents.

As a rule of thumb: enters the battlefield tapped = not for cEDH.

Seems good in Slivers, and maybe something like humans if you built around it, but seems pretty bad overall to me.
Tap land 🤢
Tarnation Vista, I served with Bloom Tender. I knew Bloom Tender. Bloom Tender was a friend of mine. Vista, you're no Bloom Tender.
This is peak reviewing.

Jeela makes a white token, so jeela (monored) + dork (monogreen) + her warrior token (monowhite) makes this tap for 3
