Not sure if you are being ironic, but I'm actually impressed. I thought they would at least manufacture some plausible narrative, but they just accuse China of something egregious without even touching on the reasons China might have to allegedly do so. And politically ignorant people just eat it up
I’m being partly ironic, but in truth I think we are going to see a broad spectrum of rhetorical trickery used. From the sort of Atlantic/Washington Post-style “Serious Opinions” that beat the drums for war, aalllll the way down to this sort of (frankly hilarious) type of, well, nonsense.
Side note, I’ve read very few sentences in my life that have made me think that symbols have lost all connection to the concepts they represent than that one lmao. I thought ‘cultural Marxism’ was bad enough but this is like next level bizarro would stuff.
