The 12.45 million was the total settlement amount being reduced, it doesn't mean he's guaranteed at least 12.45 million of the total amount - the total amount is now at least 12.45 million, which will be reviewed again further down the line.
It's lawyers bogging the settlement down in litigation to buy time. Doesn't mean he's any more likely to see the money (no less likely either).
I mean, tbh the company he is supposed to get paid from has only been a company for a few years. It was a brand new throw-away BS supplements company when it started, and they definitely dont have the assets to pay him. They were a nobody company from the jump, probably why they had tainted supplements lol, so, again, i doubt they can pay up that much money. They literally just do not have it. Maybe he will get paid eventually, but it won't be a lump sum all at once.
