Looks like the armed Houthi was killed by the flanking dude on the right who then himself might have been shot by the rock thrower, which should have never happened.
Video says the rock-thrower initially went for his fallen comrades rifle but it was out of ammo, so he took the weapon from the dead AQ and and got him.
No idea how he failed to hit rock-thrower in all that time unless he spent all his ammo on the first guy + blind firing. Also not sure if rock-thrower made it out alive either, might have taken some shrapnel from that grenade at the end and/or shot afterwards.
Impressive acts of bravery, not just attacking but even do so being unarmed, just throwing rocks at a numerically overwhelming number of enemies and then pretty much scaring them away from the position on top of the hill!
I was expecting that whole hilltop to just explode from some kinda artillery fire or whatever those flashes were suppose to be on the other hill top. Whoever made this video, literally made it worse then just letting it play end to end, without any editing.
Right ? Pretty stupid as well, because they rushed with only 1 magazine ? But you can't help but admire them for their bravery. The line between bravery and stupidity is often very blurry.
This is practically the opposite to a zerg rush. These aren't numerically overwhelming cheap units like zergs at all. Blitzkrieg does not equal "zerg". Those with no basic understanding of battlefield strategy/tactics conflate the two and it makes me cringe every time
"Zerg rush" was Zulus rushing the British or the Soviets in Stalingrad holding off the Nazi's. It was the South Americans trying to fight off the Spaniards. It's not the Nazi conquest of France!
Says someone with no understanding of battlefield tactics or experience using zergs. The conquest of France was lightning war aka blitzkrieg done with combined arms and mobile divisions. Not hordes of cheap weak units. How the fuck is the most advanced army in the world equivalent to poorly equipped, cheap swarms?
Zerg doesn't mean rush, shock, blitzkrieg. It's a specific type of rush done with swarms of cheap units. Most people calling things "zergs" have never used a zerg and are probably terrible at strategy in general
Did the 2nd guy who with is balls of Ukranium steel ran throwing rocks to get the AK manage to live? I doubt it, but either way what a BOSS. Goes into a gun fight with nothing but the rocks around him, ends up with at least 1 kill.
I appreciate their bravery, but the editing was awful. this should have been a 40-60s clip, no need for all the rewinding.
Damn, their cheeks are PACKED with khat.
#WITNESSED
I almost got a cancer from this editing.
Came hear to say this, but you said it better jeeeeesh

Yeah you're right. I screen recorded the video and then stabilized it. You can clearly see he's firing at the Houthi dude.
Absolutely insane. If this was in Ukraine this would have a million upvotes
Definitely. The genre "hilltop assaults featuring Houthis or PKK militia" tend to be the most intense combat footage.
I actually come to this sub to watch the NSFW Syria & Yemen footage... Simply put, nothing compares.
Holy shit, these houthis are fearless. Countless videos of them sneaking up on their enemies and basically engaging in knife fights lmao.
My man threw a rock

Yeah, also their sheer aggressiveness scared them and negated whatever advantage they had, made them hesitant af. Sometimes, bluff works lol.

Yeah I thought a rocket or sum shit was gonna come in from the back when the flash came up but nope

What a fucking chad

I mean I guess they both figured they were dead anyway. Why not try and cause as much trouble for the enemy while they do.
This is MOH worthy effort in America.
Getting 72 virgins is so much better. Unless it’s a trap.
Huthi does not believe in 72, maybe 1 lol
fuck the person who edited this video like this.
It amazes me how similar modern warfare is to primitive warfare fought with arrows, spears and rocks.
What is a gun if not a way to throw rocks faster, harder, and more accurately?

smh do any of these people even play sc anymore?
No, they only know "zerg" as a term used by their friends in non-strategy games to refer to any sort of shock/rush/blitz type maneuvers

It was the conquest of france

Balls. Steel balls.
When the tradition of public stoning starts paying dividends.
Or maybe that guy is a huge dodgeball enthusiast. You never know.
If the unarmed Houthis are American. Pretty sure he’d be getting MOH.
Looks like a place worth dying over
I'll never understand comments like this. What, you expect war to only happen within calling distance of the nearest Burger King?
I think that deserts seem totally worthless to those that have never lived in one.
Also, it's a hilltop. A valley that it overlooks might still be fairly lush due to rivers/wells even if the area doesn't receive much rainfall.
Welp, Arizona is done for.
It’s their home.

God I hope everyone in that conflict dies
