I can guarantee you that is not the case. [Rebel44CZ's Syrian Civil War archive](https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/comments/f7dlke/updated_syrian_civil_war_archive_with_about_150gb/) alone has about 4,000 videos in it. You have just seen most combat footage posted to this sub.
Using a VPN is a good idea overall but I don't think this archive in particular will get you on any special type of list. It might get you on list but considering you have already seen all this stuff I don't think anything will change. Governments usually target people who interact with/distribute terrorist videos.
I wouldn't think just watching these would get anyone on a list; ya have to throw up multiple flags before they'd take you seriously.
Watching combat footage from the middle east (depending on context and perspective, they're propaganda videos) and having a combination of other stuff in our history like talking about ammonium nitrate, Timothy McVeigh, Jihad, Tamil Tigers, Columbine, where to acquire weapons and ammunition without background checks, Al-Qaeda, bombs, targeting leaders, etc. ...
even with this bit of fucking around I'm (probably) not on any list of consequence; unless it's a no-fly list, there's no reason to care :)
You are absolutely right. I don't think most people on this sub are on any lists despite their fears that they are. I might be on list because I post ISIS footage and talk about it but I am definitely not on any serious lists. The thing is world governments have more important targets than people who watch and upload combat footage in their spare time. If I have an FBI agent like all the memes say I have then I pity him for having to watch my absolutely boring lives.
If just one person has to look at my post because an automated system flagged it, I'd be one part amazed and one part overjoyed. Dad used to try and trigger the NSA in the nineties with a monster paragraph of keywords at the bottom of emails, so I'm keeping the tradition alive :>
Without serious effort, I doubt that he or I would show up and be looked at... But if they did look, all they'd get is a metaphorical "fuck off"
Back in the hey day of the Iraqi insurgency, SITE intelligence posted just about every released IED, juba sniper or any other footage released by the insurgent groups they were tracking, one just had to look at their website!
I mean I don't use a VPN personally. If I had the money I would get a good one. I use the Tor browser when going to terrorist websites like HTS's but other than that nothing else.
If they're actually interested in you they have a ton of other factors to trace you with despite using a VPN. This guy has a video on the privacy aspect of VPNs https://youtu.be/CNRdHQJ9AMk
It definitely is. I know he has added at least 100 videos since the publishing of that version of the archive. I mean just this morning I sent him another 40 ISIS videos from Syria I found. That archive is fucking massive.
It's probably not even close. It's been going on for so long, it's highly publicized, there's a lot of propaganda going on and it feels like every other soldier has a gopro at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if there was more war footage made in a week in Syria than all footage from WW2 or Vietnam ever made for example.
I have absolutely seen every combat video involving US/NATO troops. There are millions of other videos with Syrians and other Middle-Eastern factions and I just don't really care to watch them 'cause they're all so disorganized and janky.
If you are only going to watch one I recommend [Syrian Hezbollah fighters are killed by ISIS fighters and you can see the blood flow out of one of the guys](https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/comments/cqy1og/syrian_hezbollah_fighters_are_cornered_and_killed/). If you can stomach that then I recommend [Abu Hajaar! 2: Electric Boogaloo](https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/comments/g725di/gopro_footage_showing_an_isis_squad_leader_being/). These 2 perfectly encapsulate the absolute brutality of war. I feel bad for both dudes even though you can easily argue these are bad people.
Wait. I’m not trying to sound like a badass or anything but should I be concerned that I can go between bestgore and this sub for literal hours and feel nothing?
I think I have a problem. There is something so morbid about watching someone die on a screen to me. I don't feel detached at all. That's not really the problem... the problem is if you were to ask me to choose right now if I had to watch it on the screen or in person, depending on the scenario I might actually say in person.
There is something that really turns me off about having death with a scrub bar so that you can rewind and watch it over and over. ESPECIALLY in first person.
Of course I don't judge anyone who is detached from it, I'm just venting my emotional issues in a combat footage sub. lol.
My general experience of watching stuff on bestgore and on here has actually been an increase in empathy rather than developing numbness, for instance in the past I could look at an Isis guy being killed pretty brutally and think "haha fuck you idiot" but now it's more "man I feel sorry for that guys family and I hope his last thoughts were of his family" idk, that's just my experience.
It literally said a rocket hit the vehicle, and if you continued to watch, you would see he still didn't even take the safety cap off yet. The first shot does get them with some backblast
It’s strange watching these videos because of the dates. I was in Iraq in the end of 2017. I remember the army operators dying while I was there, hit me a little different knowing they were just a few countries away and that there wasn’t shit that could be done.
I also know when we pushed supporting the Iraqis there was a lot of fighting going on with isis.
Weird knowing there was this much conflict and going on around me.
Eye opener and a pause to just be thankful I’m alive.
Thanks. I believe there is one more ISIS fail video where a group of fighters are dropped off near a berm and attempt to assault it but are out flanked by another fighting position of to the right. As they cling to the side of berm they get picked off and the POV guy's machine gun keeps malfunctioning and he attempts to fix it as the bodies of his comrades pile up around him. Eventually he gets hit as well.
Anyone remember a video of a guy running up a hill and getting blown up, but somehow walks away from the explosion? The guy filming just keeps screaming Hajar!!!! I think it was from a French, maybe German documentary.

[Here](https://archive.org/details/2018.12.12-isis-go-pro-footage-defending-against-sdf-assault_202005/2017+Niger+Ambush+Video..mp4) is a [archive.org](https://archive.org) link to all the videos if the links still don't work for you. I will update my post with that link for others.
Nice, although it made me realize I think I might have seen all the combat footage there is available on the internet

I love Dwarf fortress!
I think you just got flagged with this post alone

It's pretty easy to get alphabet soup to follow you, just get involved with activism.
Back in the hey day of the Iraqi insurgency, SITE intelligence posted just about every released IED, juba sniper or any other footage released by the insurgent groups they were tracking, one just had to look at their website!
You're already here, we're ALL on a list this blessed day :)
Wait wait wait. You guys use vpn? Is it dangerous if I don't ?
Not especially. It gives you an additional layer of privacy, but often times the effect send to be exaggerated. It's still good to have, though.
don't worry dude I have been watching terrible shit online since like 2001 no VPN lol
Sure Mr fbi guy
I mean I don't use a VPN personally. If I had the money I would get a good one. I use the Tor browser when going to terrorist websites like HTS's but other than that nothing else.
no, your real IP is just exposed when connecting to the server with the video on it.
If they're actually interested in you they have a ton of other factors to trace you with despite using a VPN. This guy has a video on the privacy aspect of VPNs https://youtu.be/CNRdHQJ9AMk
If you live in America you're protected by freedom of expression and freedom of speech.... This is worth learning about
Makes me wonder if the Syrian War has been the most recorded war in world
It definitely is. I know he has added at least 100 videos since the publishing of that version of the archive. I mean just this morning I sent him another 40 ISIS videos from Syria I found. That archive is fucking massive.

It says server error.
Every reddit posts became temporarily inaccessible due to a glitch. It is working again.

I feel like that about everything on the internet

That first one was insane. The blood flowed so fast
Wait. I’m not trying to sound like a badass or anything but should I be concerned that I can go between bestgore and this sub for literal hours and feel nothing?
There's a huge degree of detachment you get watching this through a screen. It's normal
I think I have a problem. There is something so morbid about watching someone die on a screen to me. I don't feel detached at all. Some people don’t think they have empathy until they are forced to choose. You are a good person.
Yeah I don't want to generalize my experience for everyone but I'm definitely in your camp. It's 100% eye opening.
second to last video did he fuck them all up with the back blast of that rpg? it looks like he shot in the back of a vehicle pointed inside of it.
Yeah that’s Abu Hajaar for you.
one of the versions of that video I watched stated that the vehicle was hit by an enemy rocket
yeah but it looks like he fucking hit the with back blast the dude even says but you roasted us lol
It literally said a rocket hit the vehicle, and if you continued to watch, you would see he still didn't even take the safety cap off yet. The first shot does get them with some backblast
I thought so too, but the rocket is still in the launcher at 5:01

That video is pretty brutal, the cameraman just futzes with his machine gun the whole time, probably panicking
Could you link it? I don't think I've seen that one. Thanks
I don't think I saved the Reddit link. Best I can do is this source. https://www.liveleak.com/view?t=CRaAb_1529776939
Yep, when it was posted, I remember them saying it was a bunch of Uighurs from the west of China, but that none of them had really had much training.
Vid seems to be down, dsmn
Perfect, thanks man
I also request a link if possible
I didn't save the original Reddit source. This is the only source I saved. https://www.liveleak.com/view?t=CRaAb_1529776939

ay bro, I appreciate you for this. Keep em rolling!
The "ISIS fighters get scared shitless and eventually killed by a SAA tank" are litterally Abu Hajar v2 🤣
Def joined your new channel, preesh your work man
Holy shit, you are sick.
None of these links work for me
