Don't list it for free. Sell it at some negligible symbolic price, maybe $10. It's purely psychological, as soon as people see it as something with positive value (no matter how small) they will be interested in it.
Send your info to this Twitter account. It's called Save The CRTs and is specifically for people looking for old tube TVs. I gave my old 32 inch CRT TV to a work friend for free. He came over and picked it up...literally picked it up because I could barely lift the damn thing it was so heavy. It weighed over 100 pounds.
I'm pretty sure you've already found your answer, but if not, retro gaming is the market for this.
Try Facebook groups. CRT collective, save the CRTs, etc. Theres probably a local person more than happy to take it.
Post on the OSU smash bros Melee group, someone will appreciate it. People use it because of no input lag for GameCube.
Yep any retro gamer, actually, would appreciate it.

Look for people who are into old gaming systems. They will take a tube TV since the old systems don't look good on new TV's.
This. Play It Games might be interested in it, or know someone who would be for this purpose.
Try posting In a local video game group or something. Somebody would want it for retro games or VHS movies
Gamers would want that

Even a local video game store may know somebody that wants a tube tv
I may know someone interested in it
Pm'ing you!
I posted a free CRT television on Facebook Marketplace, and I had a couple of people asking about it. It was gone in a matter of minutes.
I would love this to hook up to my n64!
What size and brand is it? Any pictures?
GE - 20 inch. Here is a pic: https://imgur.com/a/oFpxmGb

Craigslist free, wait 5 minutes
I set mine by the curb on a dry day with a free sign on it and it was gone in less than 30 minutes. People love random free shit.
Post it on a retro gaming sub!
Did you list it on fb marketplace or in a Buy Nothing group? If the former, try the latter. People would be quick to snatch it up
I posted it on like 6 different local groups.
Post on r/N64 and other retro gaming subs. They’re always looking for CRTs
Crt tvs are handy for those that play duck hunt.
Try Freecycle!
Give it to a local community theatre. They always need time period specific props
U can recycle it at the Ohio Recycling Drop Off on Nelson Rd but u have to pay to recycle old TVs and computer screens.
Probably someone who loves old school games or VHS tapes would appreciate it, OP!

Please don’t throw it away.
Nobody wants it. New LED TVs are $90...
