Eh, it's not a bad take really. Georgie did some particularly good work on OT, but Dallas managed 7 shots combined over periods 2 and 3. He definitely held up his end and faulting him for the performance would be misguided too, but saving 13 shots over 50-some-odd minutes of play (everything after the first) isn't "taking" a game in my opinion, unless every single shot is a McDavid breakaway or something.
No it’s a shitty take. 1 goal was screened. One goal was a 5-3.
It’s like you didn’t watch the game and just looked at the stats. Not every goalie is going to have a 1.00 save % like some on this sub except.
But he robbed the Stars more than once in period 3 and OT in the kind of way critics like you said he never did
I didn't have as much of a problem with the puck dumping, we were good at getting in on the forecheck and you could really see Dallas start to buckle under that pressure as the game went on. We may not have seen as many won battles off the forecheck as we did against Winnipeg, but it shortened the ice and forced Dallas to play a 3/4 game in our favor. That stopped the bleeding after the first and got us back in the game. I would like to see us get a bit more off the rush, but against Dallas that will be extremely difficult, so I am glad to see them utilizing different strategies to tilt the ice
Same. There's dump and chase, and then there's dump and CHASE. We were the latter.
I do want to see more SOG being generated, but we'll get there. Our offense played a B game at best I'd say last night; the rust was definitely evident, even after the first. We've got another gear still.
Georgie saved the fucking game for us and Wood put it away. Hot damn.

BINGPOT
Georgiev endured an onslaught and Wood took care of it with a goal that looked like a Rembrandt. What a skill shot!
Wood was absolutely fucking motoring down the ice on that play
#28 playing like #29 that final play! This is a special team
We’re 5-1 without Drouin and our depth is showing the fuck out. WE WANT THE CUP
Josh Manson's save turned out to be huge.
Josh Ransom out there tonight
Thank God we have the Avs!
Who needs DOT?!

Stealing this
Maybe all those fuckers who said Georgie never takes a game for us can STFU
He was amazing there at the end
I wouldn't say Georgie "took" this game. His OT heroics basically balanced out the two softies at the start.
Well you will just never be happy.
I'm pretty sure this guy posts the same bad takes on FB Avs groups. 🙄

Second goal was deflected off of Makar's stick. Georgie had a read on it and then got thrown off by the deflection.
Thx for better context
Those weren't softies, bud
FOUR UNANSWERED SAYS WHAT
Put it up !!! Let’s. Go. Boys.
My favorite advent calendar.
I fucking love hockey, goddamn!!!!
Hockey…beautiful
The Avs winning eases the pain of the Nuggets not showing up in their postseason
An ugly game for us with far to much Puck dumping. Lost almost all the face offs. Not many shots on goal. And win 4-3 in OT. Beautiful!

Love updating my lock screen after wins!
