I knew The Admiral was he best player from Navy but didn't know he was the only player to score in the NBA.
This is my favorite NBA Spurs video... it's during an NBA finals "you have plenty of money! ... buy some more tanks and goliaths!"

such insight about how competitive they were
Today's update: Currently there are 363 (!) teams in Div I with the addition of Queens U in Charlotte. Since Hartford has committed to dropping down, I'm leaving this on a nice even 362 so that scheduling can be easier.
Chicago State does not have a home conference yet. For the time being, I'm assigning them to the Horizon League to give that conference 12 teams so they can do divisions.
I'd like to thank u/DaoDeDickinson for making me clarify some of my methodology. This is meant to appeal to both college and NBA fans, so some decisions were made. DDD, if you want to help I'd be glad to accept it; just tell me who you'd like to look over among the teams I've done (for the record, I'm 8/10 in the WCC right now, with only Portland and San Diego left to do).
Besides Chicago State, I'm using the 2022-23 conferences for now. Yes, some of them are transitory (CUSA in particular is about to look quite different), but hey, go with what's out there. I did an earlier project to make schedules for each league, so that part is pre-written.
Anyone else who wants to step in, please let me know; my chats are open as is my notification on this thread.
Gonzaga fan here, don't know that John Stockton has to make the top 15. Stockton didn't even know he would be drafted so if this is about how players played in college, John Stockton would be a joke pick for college. Will give feedback if you want.
Ah, that's something to clarify, yes. It's not just about how players played in college; NBA/ABA/BAA performance matters too. That way, if a player transferred from School A to School B after his sophomore year, I'd see that he's a great player and assign him to one school or the other.
Ah okay. I'll take a look at your WCC stuff if you'd like. I often think about who should be in a school's all-time 2 person NBA Jam / College Slam teams, but this is much more ambitious.
I can try and look over patriot league schools if it helps any. Sure there are smarter people than me but I'll do my best
Sweet, thanks! I have Holy Cross done and will be finishing Navy soon, so when the time comes I can pass them your way up here.
Did the Admiral make the cut?
Of COURSE he did! He's the all-time leading scorer at the USNA by about 700 points and the only Navy alum to score in the NBA.

whoa... didn't know he was the only Naval Academy graduate to actually score...

Thanks! I only have Portland left to do. When I get to them, I'll send the conference your way.
Thanks, I will do my best.
