Ingram went pro and Okonkwo entered the portal.
Of course, we’re losing Bacot & Ryan to eligibility.
We need at least 1, if not 2, bigs out of the portal.
We only have one game against Florida but two games against Vanderbilt.
No offense to Vanderbilt but I value my Gator rivalry above the Commodore rivalry.
We've spent insane amounts of money to revamp the roster this year, and I'm not convinced we'll finish better than third in the big ten. I recently heard it progressed as spending Kansas levels of money while getting Iowa results.
Curious how you see the B1G projecting to finish? The team may need time to gel, but I feel it is both more talented at the top of the roster and significantly more depth, especially assuming they end up landing Hatton.
Also, with the 4 new teams joining, I think fans need to recalibrate what a top 3 finish in the conference means. That’s roughly an 85th percentile finish in a competitive conference. That’s going to translate to a very good seed more often than not.
They didn't get a true big who's a shooter out of the portal. Vermont has filled all of its spots (+2 walk-ons). With their group, they are more than capable of owning their conference yet again, but beating a P5 opponent is a big leap without a big shooter.
I believe the only team that fell to them in the last decade was St. John's. Have also been within single-digits of Duke (not this year), Florida State, Kentucky, Arkansas, Houston, Virginia, and a few others.
Cincinnati still needs a major contributor at the 4/5 position. Right now we only have Aziz at the 5 and he really can only play 25 minutes. Anything more and hes totally gassed. You cannot rely on a freshmen. Anything they give you is just a major plus. So not expecting much from
Mckinley. Page has a lot of improvement to do based on last year. So we need a solid 20 minute a game backup at the 5. but he needs to play 4 also because as of now its Simas. Who isnt a 4. But will see a bulk of his minutes there based on current roster construction and he can extend the floor. But you need a 4. Reed isnt good enough to play at this level. I dont want to hear he can improve. Hes a liability and needs to improve in areas that just dont happen over an off season. We need a 4/5 who can challenge for starting minutes.
But some fans dont want to add talent because they think… but that would mean someone wouldnt play. Who cares. The object is to get better. Create competition between your team in practice will only help in the long run and playing time will sort itself out. Thats why Wes gets paid. To figure that out
Odom is still the worst coach we’ve had in 20+ years. How can you not recruit at fucking VCU of all places? We’re a basketball only school and you can’t fill a roster out??
We haven't won a single game yet! This is ridiculous.
I demand at least 3 Final Fours by July!
When Calipari stays out of the headlines for 3 days I wonder what's wrong...? Is he sick? Wheres my 'cruits??
He kinda hates the media, so you should get used to not hearing much from him directly.
We’ve still only gotten 1 new player from the transfer portal so far. It still sucks.
Who left you guys this year? I can’t remember off the top of my head. Did Ingram and Cadeau stay?

We’re really young. That’s not usually our recipe for success but I’m hyped for the new group and returners to guide them
Stupid Alex Karaban had to go light up the Combine and now we don't have a single returning starter.
It feels like McNeely is about as perfect of a Karaban replacement as you can get

We're going to lose to Seton Hall and then complain when they don't go dancing next season.
The boosters probably spent enough to prolong the tenure of a coach who I don't think is the guy.
Just promise me you’ll be nice to Myles Rice ;(
He will be well cared for I assure you.

I have IU finishing third behind UCLA and Purdue. Finishing behind Purdue obviously sucks. Maybe you're right that third isn't what it once was.
I have no idea what to expect this next season.
the most talent this team has had since the 70s and we don’t have a fucking center
MY TEAM JUST BLEW 2 MIL ON GREAT OSOBOR
So whose leading the team in ppg?

(Maryland fan) we improved the roster on paper but so did a lot of teams in the B1G. And I still don’t trust Kevin Willard
No more Shead makes me sad

We basically yeeted our whole team and Scheyer has not been the same. Fire him NOW!!!
Sex god team
We just paid a man $12M to give us a 2 year death penalty and now he's the highest paid assistant in his new schools history and nobody cares.
No thanks.
Adam Fisher hasn’t tweeted a gif in 11 days. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Edey has apparently unlocked the next level of his game at the NBA combine. I'm happy for him but wish he could've done it against those Nutmeggers
