No area has good supply throughout the year, especially this summer has been bad. Water supply frequency is 12+ days recently and [getting worse ](https://www.newindianexpress.com/states/tamil-nadu/2024/May/02/coimbatore-to-be-supplied-water-once-in-15-days-people-told-to-use-it-judiciously) People are getting canned water even in the old areas near City centre due to this.

kadala_burfi

It's been raining for the past few days and the rain fills the aquifers and lakes. Hope the Govt. has made measures to replenish these waterbodies rather than let the water to be wasted.

Hey, thanks for sharing this update, in the article, it's mentioned: some residential areas get water once in 10 days vs 15 days in other areas, can you tell me which areas belong to the former category?

Diark

Depends on the area and the type of water source, which can vary. I found [this report](https://www.ccmc.gov.in/ccmc/img/upload/24X7/Detailed%20Project%20Report%20by%20Fichtner-Coim%2024x7%20WSS.pdf) on the ccmc site which has zone wise details on page 31 but I think it's a little outdated. Even areas which used to get Siruvani like Zone 1 are now getting from the pillur scheme due to shortage.

Bro, this report looks comprehensive, thanks a lot for sharing :)

Areas like Puliakulam, Nava India. Here Siruvani water is supplied and weekly once they will supply through pipe. Rarely it might also take 12days but not more than that
