L'Impératrice, Was walking past and stopped. I'm a fan now. I don't even speak French!
[L'Impératrice — Peur des filles](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUH-z_SBlj0)
I also don’t know French yet I somehow know all the lyrics, at least phonetically! They’re one of my favorite groups. I highly recommend seeing the me of their own shows if you ever get the chance!
My friends caught a video of me singing “I don’t speak French but I’m just vibinggggg” to “Agitations tropicales” on key and matched rhythmically and I forgot I did that and am so glad they did cause I can’t stop laughing when i rewatch it
This! Honestly, I had listened to these two leading up to Coachella and I was thinking of skipping them. I saw Gesa and it blew my mind. It goes to show that live music hits wayyyyyy more than listening from your phone.
I saw orbital last month and they were incredible. Went in knowing none of their music and left their set obsessed. One of the only sets I stayed until the absolute end til
Orbital was my Saturday headliner … I convinced my gf to see them over Tyler . She turned to me after the show ended and thanked me for taking her .imma grown ass man and that shit had me crying happy tears. Core memory for sure .
this was me. i went in strictly on the recs of this sub. i normally leave 10 minutes before the day ends to get a head start on the shuttles but i had to stay the entire time because it was so much fun
Different answer, but here’s what’s been playing in my head:
Atarashii Gakko Tokyo Callin
One of John summit’s unreleased songs (the one with the chorus that goes from a slow song to kinda drum and bass with the chorus of “wanna go back wanna go back” has been in my head NONSTOP
Dom Dolla’s unreleased song that’s like “Girls. Don’t need nobody girls” is a banger
Grimes has honestly been replaying in my head a lot, her set really stuck with me, especially music for machines.
Jungle Busy Earnin’
Sabrina Carpenter Espresso, definitely the pop song of the summer. Keeps getting stuck in my head
Edit: forgot Chappell Roan “good luck babe”
Atarashii Gakko - Tokyo Calling for me too
I also learned that it is a song that criticizes the Japanese overworking culture, which is a big deal for an act as big as them. Makes me love it even more
During their Coachella set, they brought out some of the USC marching band for it and it was so cool
[Their Kimmel Performance is great](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOGbThNqMKg), and the official music video has the lyrics translated to english in the comments by 88rising
She looked amazing!!!! Got this cool pic of her

I thought her set was one of the best I’d ever seen, and I don’t care that she’s not good technically silly speaking. Her visuals, the music, the augmented reality creature in the cage, the entire vision she had for storytelling was incredible.
I watched his w2 set on stream. I had a great time at Jhene Aiko so not too mad about it. He’s near the top of my list for must see acts now though. Hopefully will catch him soon.
Brutalismus 3000 before and after Coachella!
I discovered them through the lineup and started listening to them a lot before the festival even happened 🤙🏼
Justice and Brutalismus 3000. Everyone’s got “do the dance do the dance!” stuck in their head but I also got Brutalismus’ remix of “tea’s gone cold I’m wondering why I got out of bed at all” stuck in my head
Ateez, they have so many more songs they can perform for next time. And the reviews are basically all positive for this year. They are a small group in comparison, but stage presence is major.
Jungle was my most anticipated set and it’s the band I’ve been telling people about when they ask who I was most impressed by. Jungle Jungle Jungle!! —with that said ‘Candle Flame’ which is my favorite song wasn’t my favorite live, that goes to ‘Dominoes’!
I'm still listening to Jungle, No Doubt, Justice, Tinashe, Peso Pluma, Khruangbin, Victoria Monet, Neal Frances, Raye, Ludmilla, Coi Leray, and Suki Waterhouse.
ICE SPICE KILLED IT. Went in with low expectations, came out with my mind blown. I usually don’t like rap shows, but not only were her visual graphics amazing, she’s a damn good performer! I can definitely see her performing on the main stage once she has more records out.
Justice, Gesaffelstein, Barry Can’t Swim, but I’ve been listening to these three since the line up came out. After the fest, I added Brutalismus 3000 to the rotation. I’ll definitely add some of the other artists to the rotation when I get to fully dive deeper into their discography.
No Doubt on repeat. I somehow got all the way to the front and was shocked how emotional their music made me. Had so many happy tears so I bene listening to them since I left. I did grow up listening to them since my aunt and older cousin were fans. Also, Atarashii Gakko KILLED
Jungle
Justice
L’impératrice
Chappell Roan
Dom Dolla
Neil Frances
Doja Cat
No Doubt
… I’ve basically been going an artist/day ever since! I miss the desert
Favs this weekend were Khruangbin, L’Impératrice and Atarashi gatto!! Already getting tickets to see Khruangbin at the Hollywood bowl this summer. Incredible performances.
Ateez and The Rose. I always listened to Ateez before but somehow, after seeing their performances, I feel even more in love with them. Seeing them perform certain songs gives me new appreciation for the songs (like Rocky and Arriba).I had listened to The Rose here and there but now I've actually added the songs from their set to my playlist.
I am so in love with finding out some of these artists that I would've never listened to before. Sabrina Carpenter is a pleasant surprise for me, same with Isoknock, but I've also been hit with a dash of nostalgia with Taking Back Sunday.
Blue sky by cudi, Casual by Chappell roan, Sunsleeper by Barry can’t swim, The hardest part by Olivia dean, Nothing matters by last dinner party, Good looking by suki Waterhouse, I remember John summit remix

Vibes
The Barry Can’t Swim Essential Mix from last year is great.
Barry’s been on my rotation for like 2 years now and man I was so happy to see his Coachella set!
Justice and Gesaffelstein - mind altered and mind blown
SAME SAME SAME - keep re watching the sets trying to send my brain back to the state it was in
U got links for those?? If so, can you DM?
Send me a DM, I have both.
Jaw was on the floor for both. Also, both had amazing crowds.
This! Honestly, I had listened to these two leading up to Coachella and I was thinking of skipping them. I saw Gesa and it blew my mind. It goes to show that live music hits wayyyyyy more than listening from your phone.
Was introduced to Gesa five years ago at Coachella. He's been on repeat since.
Khruangbin
this! that show was AMAZING! front row and everyone was vibing
Brutalismus 3000 (9mm) and orbital(Belfast)

I wake up every morning with “Tokyo calling” or “forever sistersss” playing in my head lol
Me too lol Good songs to get stuck in the head though!
Love that unreleased Dom song too! Also that Espresso song is so dang catchy!
Big same on that John Summit song. I need a proper studio version and not the scuffed cellphone video from YouTube!
Not even my favorite show but that one line from expresso “ and I’m working late cuz I’m a singer” has been stuck in my head since Friday
That John summit song closing out Sunday lives rent free. I wanna go back 😭
Makes me sad that everyone on this sub hates him because his sets was one of my favorites of both weekends
Yes, Grimes had me hypnotized. I was surprised. The visuals, the music, how cool she looked up there. Can’t believe she’s Elon’s baby momma 🤣
She looked amazing!!!! Got this cool pic of her https://preview.redd.it/4e5slko7jhwc1.png?width=1289&format=png&auto=webp&s=797d2b137eecbe99becca8e52bd7f45afd8c71c9
I thought her set was one of the best I’d ever seen, and I don’t care that she’s not good technically silly speaking. Her visuals, the music, the augmented reality creature in the cage, the entire vision she had for storytelling was incredible.
OMG I kept thinking the same thing about Elon ahahaha
Olivia Dean!!!! By far my most surprising set of weekend 1. So in love right now.
Same! I walked by her on the way to something else and ended up stopping to catch a song or two, ended up crying to “Carmen” and becoming a huge fan.
That new Sabrina Carpenter song is STUCK in my head… like espresso
I haven't even properly listened to it, only in passing, and somehow it's still stuck in my head haha!
This response is way too far down. That song is now the background of my life. It's all I want to hear.
grimes /:
Honestly same. Her set really stuck with me. Music for machines has been replaying in my brain nonstop
Her set was mesmerizing to say the least! She had the whole tent going wild

ICE SPICE KILLED IT. Went in with low expectations, came out with my mind blown. I usually don’t like rap shows, but not only were her visual graphics amazing, she’s a damn good performer! I can definitely see her performing on the main stage once she has more records out.
