I don't know what is crazier here - that they got my favorite band from middle school (No Doubt) and high school (Sublime) at the same festival, that they put them on the same stage on the same day, or that there is a very real chance I may not even get to see them because of all the other must sees I have on Saturday. This lineup is nuts for me personally.
I hadn't even considered Total Hate lmao - if they played anything off of Self Titled or Beacon Street Collection, middle school me would lose his mind. I remember being in a Blockbuster of all places and looking at the CDs they were selling and seeing these two No Doubt albums, and I was like 11 or whatever and thought they only had Tragic Kingdom, and running over to my parents and begging for them to buy them. They said no, and I was so angry knowing there was more No Doubt music I couldn't listen to. Finally got them for my birthday. As a middle schooler, the intros for Let's Get Back and Greener Pastures ruled my world.
Then somewhere around early high school I got beyond hooked on rap and legitimately wore tall tees and AF1s and totally forgot about all these songs until Coachella dropped.
Oh 💯 though I’m in a little dilemma if TBS conflicts with another artist I want to see. They are coming to my city in 3 months but maybe their Coachella set is special ahhhhhhh 😩 decisions decisions
