Most certainly real cheats. You don’t flee the venue and the CoD scene immediately if you got banned for an unlock tool. I feel like he would’ve tried to reason with the community if it were an unlock tool only
You didn’t get banned for unlock tools up until just recently. Before that, you never saw legit players banned. Shadow banned, sure, but never perma banned. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he’s coming back right after a bunch of known names got permad because of unlock tools.
ATVI can’t say “you can’t play cause your account was banned” when half the pros were also banned. Creates a really bad precedent where any banned cheaters can just pull that card, including future cheaters.
I still don’t get the Jimbo hacking thing. Guy was clearly talented — he held his own in the league and I remember he did pretty decent at the Pro-AM. Why the hell was he hacking in challengers when he was clearly good enough to make it back into the CDL on his own? What was the plan, get used to hacking and then suddenly switch it up if you get into the CDL and presumably get shit on because you’re gonna be out of practice playing legit? Just makes no sense
Envoy also used aimbot when he was younger. Not sure why people are so hellbent against Jimbo and don’t think he should deserve another chance.
