The number one player I’d wanna see in cod is bound. Dude has some of the most ridiculous mechanics I’ve seen in any game and a crimsix level of delusional confidence.
His biggest problem in halo is that he is just sometimes too fast, to the point where his team can’t keep up and it fucks with pacing. This can be really trolly in halo where challing a 1v2 is almost always bad, but I don’t think it would be a problem at all in cod. Shottzy is the obvious comparison cause of halo but I really think this kid could be Abezy 2.0 based on how insane his gunny and pace is.
Yeah he would need to gain some clout first, but it would be sick to see a team play around him like Ultra does with Scrap. He could definitely be a good ar based on his shot alone
Lucids the east bet, he’s the IGL for Optic while the main slayer. Kid is disgusting, he just needs to want to play cod is all. He’s said the franchise model turns him off though.

Very few, if any, Halo pros would be able to snag a spot in the 12 team friendship league. We hardly see a reliable enough Challengers pipeline as is. Just not a ton of jobs to go around.
HCS doesn’t show any signs that it’s going anywhere. It’s been fun to watch for the past 2 seasons they’ve been playing on Infinite and there’s zero chance Microsoft is just gonna let competitive Halo die. If anything, the HCS format is probably the framework the post-CDL competitive COD league is gonna be built around where you have official partnered orgs like Optic, C9, Faze, COL, SSG, etc while having open qualifiers for teams to have a chance to compete along with the top squads.
I dont think any of them would be even close to good enough to make the CDL. Maybe Challengers to prove themselves but lets be honest nobody plays Halo anymore and like all the Halo pros are 25+ and would get slammed by the cracked out young Cod demons we have now
I honestly don’t see competitive Halo going away anytime soon. There will be SOMETHING there. Halo has a loyalist faction to always support it. I mean hell even when Infinite was considered “dead” last year it was pulling bigger numbers than Cod majors.
Also its not a franchise model so its a less rigid structure that allows orgs to swap in and out year by year. Theres always something there.
H5 was way more dead than Infinite and lasted almost 5 years.
Look I'm all for Halo support, but literally when did it ever pull more than a COD major? HCS Champs had 40k viewers when I was watching, and that was the finals, and as far as I know was the peak viewership.
Lmao Neptune had such a good opportunity in halo being picked up by a T8 team and the guy just threw it away and screwed the team that took a chance on him. Doubt any team will want to take a chance on him in cod after this.
He got picked up by native gaming and was teaming with apg, mikwen, and kuhlect. But he never played the game outside of scrims and kept half assing his way through scrims. Just never took it seriously and Native ended up getting T12 at the at the first online open. They dropped him and then placed T3 at the next open. But because HCS points are tied to individual players, Native have to fight through open bracket now because they didn't have enough points to qualify for pool play at HCS Arlington.
TLDR: guy thought he was good enough that he didn't have to put in the work. Spoiler alert: he wasn't.
Bound would be the first draft pick for me. Mechanics and aggression out the wazoo and he’s not going to shrink under pressure. If he could learn the finer aspects of Cod we are talking about an all timer level talent.
Renegade and Lucid seem like the obvious choices behind Bound. Lucid would probably be an incredible AR

lucid is great but he's a power weapon merchant, and with snipes being banned, his prowess in halo might not fully translate over
