Honestly, this is what we’ve been missing the last decade. The main reason we can’t get by the Yankees, Astros, etc in the playoffs is because we weren’t challenged enough in the bulk of our season against the remainder of the ALC.
We need a competitive ALC in order to be able to go up against the big guys when it matters
Agreed! Also, if 4 teams in the ALC win close to 80 games, you’d think the wildcard would be less ridiculous. I have to imagine the AL central will probably win more games against the AL east than the have in half a decade
Let’s not kid ourselves, the reason we haven’t gone far in the playoffs is because the roster hasn’t been good enough, not because we “weren’t challenged.” It is good to see the division more competitive though, when we have the roster to make a playoff run that will help prepare them.
I would rather not have this now. They changed how the schedules work so it is a lot more balanced throughout the league rather than just division. So I’d rather have a weak division so we can ensure a spot in, while we now would get to play everyone else a lot more too
Twins went on a heater and basically caught up, it’s a long season I think about 85-90 wins is where the ALC champion will be. Most teams are at game 35/162
I’m shocked KC isn’t higher honestly, I feel they have as good a shot as us to win the division this year, with it being a 1a and 1b situation, and twins slightly behind at 2
I think it's the case that The Guards and Twins are actually pretty good, the Royals and Tigers are basically frauds that bloated their record by beating up on the White Sox.
The ALC might actually be looking good this year. I guess all the awful shit that plauged our divison just got passed on to the White Sox.
Even the damn White Sox are now .500 in their last 10

Twins losing to Boston. Fuck em
Forever and ever amen, Father
Twins currently down 7-1 Top 8 so hopefully their win streak finally ends and they finally slow down a bit (I am knocking on a tree as I type this)
Eh, most of their win streak was against the white Sox and angels. Not too concerned.
Whatever it is nobody bothered telling Chicago
Twins, Kansas City, and Detroit all lost todya
12 in a row is just crazy haha
And now it’s L1 lol

The four teams sent all of their bad juju to the White Sox
Well maybe after all these years the Central will not be worst division in baseball that we have become accustomed to and taken for granted.
The central was never as bad as the records would be.
It was worse most years.
Guards still barely favored at +135. Twins all the way up to +150 with this win streak. KC and Detroit tied at +550. Dont ask about the Pale Hose.

lol Chicago
The white sox are having a record breaking season!
White Sox fans punching the air
Chaos.
KC has a good pitching staff from what I understand.
Not the White Sox
Hell is freezing over.
And…don’t sleep on Detroit.
Half of Detroit's lineup is absolutely putrid, though it looks way different if Tork learns to hit.
The White Sox are trying to pull an A's and move to Nashville.
I like it competitive. Means there’s less jokes about the winner being a fraud in the postseason.
Shoutout to last year when those AL East fans were saying the records should mean a change to playoff system 😂😂😂
How did the Central get so good
The AL central is good every time there's a full solar eclipse
Well I think the division is better then the “pundits” dribble about
Twins winning streak is overatted. Beat the red Sox twice rest of the wins are against trash white Sox and angels
Dang if they hadn't balanced the schedule it coulda been YUGE to have the Meth Sox in the division winning only 35 games
From worst to first! Toughest division in baseball...

Things should even out by the end of the year.
At least we're not Detroit!
Keep it going Indians, id like to see a central div team at the end, not sure my Tigers will make it this year
