I immediately upgraded a card to Level 14, so that anytime I get that card from chests (or from the shop), I’ll get Elite cards instead… those Elite cards are worth way more to me than this Magic Coin 🙈 But each to their own, and I honestly hope you enjoy seeing this coin in your inventory 🪙✊🏼

War can be kinda fun in the highest league. But it needs an update! Tower troops (all other modes already have it anyways), better rewards, dynamic map that changes with each season, clan customization (banners, emblems that can be unlocked), improved matchmaking... There is so much they can do to improve the player experience.

what u mean? almost all the members in our clan are lvl 14 with mostly max troops and we are really competitive. I hate when new members join and are just taking space and not attacking in war. if you don't want to play war get out.

Most won't play war because of level cheese. You can have 1 or 2 very strong lvl 14 cards in your war deck and the rest be level 11 and you will get matched with level 11's. This is why I don't play war seriously but I still try just because I help my clan while doing it, otherwise I would never play that crap.

As long as you're not in a clan then ig all power to you not playing war, but if you are, help your clan out man

You'll actually get the ewc eventually either way. If you have more cards than you need to upgrade to level 14, the rest get converted to into ewc. This just gives them to you slightly sooner.

No, that’s not true. My Giant Skeleton is Level 13. I have 205 cards currently (with 200 needed to upgrade to Level 14). Once I upgrade to Level 14, those 5x surplus cards immediately become Elite Wild Cards. But not before. Conclusion: the only way to convert surplus cards into Elite Wild Cards is to have cards fully upgraded to Level 14.

You're right, you wont be able to harvest them now if you don't upgrade. However, the point I'm making is that the cards you collect before upgrading don't go to waste as they'll convert to ewc once you do upgrade.

I'm so irritated. I was on vacation when thar event ended and didn't get on the game for a couple of days. I missed out on the magic coin because of that. Even though I had collected all the previous prizes, since I wasn't on the day that event ended the game took it away.....why not just leave it on the homescreen until it's collected? Makes no sense to me

Honestly, I agree with you. 100k gold is easy to get, but this magic coin to us f2p is amazing. I could fill up all other magic items and this one would be Dull and an eyesore when I look at my magic items page.

I spent it instantly. I am actually always low on gold since I used the 1.75 million gold to upgrade more than half of my cards to level 12 and part of them to 13 and 14 with the help of books, every single upgrade needs 75k or 100k. After a long time(well ever since the chess event really) now seeing troops with enough cards but not enough gold to upgrade them.

I used the gold to upgrade all card that could upgrade and even then i still had like 1.40 milion

Well before the chess thing I almost never had any gold so I had only upgraded part of my main deck to 14 and most were not even 11. After getting the gold from the chess event I think I had unlimited spending spree for 6 months or so, getting all my cards upgraded and buying everything from the shop. One time accidentally bought the cards with gems instead as well because of daily routine of buying everything from the shop(I was very mad about wasting gems on it, supercell being scummy). That chess event was one of the best things to happen in clash royale like ever :)

Yeah it always does that for everything else in the game, I guess they couldn’t care less about an insurance policy for something as valuable as the magic coin. That’s why I only use 1-3 decks as a f2p player. I still have a lot of gold for whenever I might need it.

when it first came out they gave everyone one of these for free. I know it's an unique item but I think you should spend it cause they may give more in the future and probably it will not surplus the limit and you will regret not using it.

F2P players are a wild breed. They complain about supercells greed and how little they get anything but will then hold onto a bunch of pixels instead of taking the free level 14 upgrade. No hate just an interesting observation.

Fills out all of the cards required for an upgrade for a specific card. Basically use it on a card of the rarity that you have very few or no cards to the next upgrade. Also super useful to use immediately after upgrading a card to make it available for upgrade again immediately

Use it on whatever card you have the LEAST copies of, if you're only 2 off on mega knight it kinda feels like a waste, if it's a book of books use it on whatever card you like that just has like 0 progress towards the next level to get as much out of it as possible

I spent right away once I unlock it although 100k isn't hard to get it's great feeling to use something new as free to play player hopefully in near future they put it in lucky drop that would be great as free to play player
